kof 96 review | | A gamer from Atlanta, USA says (18/Aug/2003): | Kof '96 is the 3rd instalmen of the kof series. Here, you choose from 24 characters including Iori Yagami,Kyo Kusanagi,Terry Bogard, and Geese Howard among many others.The graphics are about the same as the two that came before it,but with some extras such as better looking combos and specials, cool stages with great scenaries(especially the boss stage with the wind blowing every thing away), and the characters are looking better than before. The game play is as good as it gets. You can block in the air, you get a fair amount of life, and you can roll as to get away from an attack (or get behind your oppnent). This game offers fun in a challenging manner, and has some of the most original characters such as Goenitz (the boss),Mr. Big, Mai Shiranui and many others.The story lines are interesting. Choosing the right teams make you see the fool extent of their story.The music is great and each stage has it's own cool beat to fight to. Overall, this game is good all over, and is enjoyable to every one who plays it, even if you are not familiar with Kof.
