Better than street fighter |

Kof 99' is an awesome instalment to the series and fits in perfectly. The new striker mode adds more fun to the game as well as a good challenge. The game play is easy to pick up on, the music is hot(really hot), the stages are amazingly detailed, and it has a wide range characters to choose from. This game also boasts an art and sound gallery, which adds to the fun factor. Overall, this game is amazing, and at a low low price of $10, it's more than worth it.

For years,I have been a huge fan of Street Fighter.That is,until one day I ran in KOF99 for Playstation for just $8.99. I though, ha! just another Street Fighter wannabe!But I was wrong. This isnt just another Street Fighter wannabe. First of all,this game is easy to pick up and play. The controls work wounderful and they are very similar to most 2D fighters. The load times are good(why did i meantion it?because most 10 doller games have long,anoying load times,thats why!). The graphics are very good if you appreicate good looking backgrounds. The gameplay rocks. Its damn addictive. Plus this game has an awesome extra feature that lets you look at all of the KOF designer art throughout the years. I have to tell you,SNK has outdone thereselves on King of Fighters 99. If you run into this title, pick it up. Its so good it makes Street Fighter look bad.

This game is a really good fighting game. Although it's just like the neogeo version, it's a classic. It doesn't however have street fighter graphics. i mean street fighter is more cartoony and more 2d. SNK characters such as king of fighters have a more refined look. just compare the 2 do you honestly think they are street fighter material. i don't think so.

The game's graphics were ok. I likes how you get to have practice modes, it lets you try out your combos and what not.The sounds were great, especially when the characters came out and said their "line". One of the things that not a lot of fighting games have is the art gallery! That was cool. It shows you what ideas they had. This game had a quite a lot of originality. like the art gallery and the color edit. Over all this game is pretty good. If you want a game that will let you have lots of fun four hours then buy this! Also you get to choose from over 20 characters!! I erge you to buy this. It doesnt cost a lot just $20 bucks at Toys R Us!
