O.K When I first glimpsed at the cover of Resident Evil survivor, I thought oh man this is gonna be great but oh did I curse capcom! Alot! The graphics are bad the sound is bad the lifespan is terrible! The Horror is bad. Mmmm anthing else? Yes! About the 100% rest. Capcom would of made more money by not releasing this trash! This put me off resident evil games permenantly untill my faith was restored with Resident Evil 0!If your gonna buy this game dont! I completed this game in an astonishing 1 hours so dont you think that this is disturbing! You dont even get a second scenario instead you keep your weapons! OH MY HOW BORING! If the grade could go down more I would give -10/10!

the game is the best survivor was fun and a good thinking game too but at the end it is all ways the some if you had play resident evil be for you come kill the the thing and get out with out dieing but for me it was easy for me not like re3 that was haed but fun.

The story was very interesting with it's B movie appeal, but it lacked major components that made Resident evil a figurehead. I beat it within a week without getting killed once, It had no puzzles to speak of, and it was basically a carbon copy of older titles. However, I am able to give it four stars on effort alone.
It is a good title for first time players, but I prefer the older style much better. It was a fun game, The controls can be a bit aggrivating at first. once you get comfortable, expect a easy game. I reccomend it for beginners to survival horror type games. I did not entirely dislike it. It held my interest for a while.

let me just put it this way this game SUCKS. I mean the graphics are crappy. the person view sucks because this is the first time they ever made first person. also the zombies look like off of re2. Plus there are to many tyrants on there. if you are thinking to get this game DONT.

RE gun serviver sucked.The anamations were awful(his hand was bigger then his head)sound was good and scary.game play sucked cuz it was to easy to beat and the hand guns r named in numbers like H.gun A.Story line was ok, I liked the fact were he losses his momrioe. In the end the game sucked and don't buy it for 20.00$ it not worth it>>>.

well the story was good but the game was to easy, and I was v disapointed with the end and I think the game would have been a bit better if u could see ur character and u could save ur game. But I thought it was a good idea that ark spent most of the game thinking that he was vincent and its not till the end of the game that u find out who he really is :)

had good sound(if you put head phones on)i was freaked when i played it i would probably say it was scarier and harder than the other resident evils has a good storyline. the reson why its a 9 is that the guys hand is bigger than his head, cant use a light gun and well what can i say he has no memory so he is like retarted how can he even pull the trigger on the gun. so why wont he just kill himself and evrytime he comes back to the same place where he was the zombies are alive again. but that does not really matter as long as the game is good :)....

Well to begin with....YOU CAN'T SHOOT THE ZOMBIES HEADS OFF WITH MAGNUM OR SHOTGUN...HOW CRAP IS THAT! I did like the idea and change of it being first person view mode because i didnt like the original idea of 3rd person view mode because of the camera angles changing all the time! I did like the story line. It had a good twist at the end but it lacked gore sequeces. In RE2 there was plenty aswell as RE3 but RE survivor lacked gore. I hope that when i get RE S 2 It will have improved a great deal.

It's quite the game such as the other RE's, the graphics are swell as well as the intense sound when playing it. In the dark is when its always at its best. You think everything is all fine and dandy when outta nowhere BAM! Your heart skips a beat, you jump from the "right in your face" first-person perspective, which is a little different then the others. I think actually the first-person perspective isn't as great though as other Resident Evils' third-person.
All & all though...its definitely a must get to add to the other sequels. Resident Evil Survivor is well worth collecting though. Can't wait till the next version hits the stores. Very intense game guys.

i've had this game for a few days now and i just can't put it down, it's not like time crisis where you are taken around the game by the computer, you make your own decision on which way you wanna go, and you can get different guns again unlike time crisis, if you like resident evil saga, then you will love this.

This game is great, amazing story line, if you liked the other other resident evil you really like this one. The game has some scary scenes, I found the game easy, but interesting, the only bad thing I can think of this game is that i can beat it very fast, i got rank A the first time a played it and i had 0 continues...very easy but very good!

RESIDENT EVIL SURVIVOR.Is a good game because its a resident evil gameunlike the other games its a lot easyer and theres hardly any puzzles the game playes good but only if you have the gun for it any psx gun like the small one ore the time crisis gun but you can still play it with out a gun but that takes the fun out of blowing zombies away the story lines ok but gun survivor is a pretty small game.The reasone i gave it an 8 witch is still a good score is because of the graphics the graphics very pore in this game its a play station game i mean the graphics could of been better but if your a resident evil fan its still worth having a look at.There are no new creatures in this game exept the TYRANT hes diffarent but theres like hunters likers plants zombie dogs zombies mr xes and more a nother good thing about the game is of the guys with the gas masks and black suits are in it you know like Hunk in resident evil 2.You get to kill them in it and they get to kill you.But all in all its an ok game besides the graphics but when get over that its worth playing you can even pass it with in 45min.

What can be better than blasting zombies? Nothing! It was nice having a a format change from third person to FPS, too. I would have liked the game to be longer and have the ability to do saves, but all in all this one is a real winner.

This game has no saves which I did not like. I played it for an hour and did not know how lonng more I was gonna have to play. Apparently from reading other reviews...I did not have long to go. I finally just let the monsters eat me and got it over with. The game itself is extremely easy. I only died cause I wanted to. I would not have minded if the game could of been played with a gun to shoot at the tv or something. As with any games I buy games at a very low price. This game is not woth more than 10 dollars. I would rent the game.....if you like it enough buy it. The zombies are slow and so is the character you control. Check it out.....shoot some zombies in the head...and call it a day.

the game is ok but it has no save points, if u get so far, you cant save. thats the only prob bout this game. all in all its like 2nd best RE game there is. i like the view and sounds, the only thing about the view is u cant tell of there is a zombie behind you. its a kind of easy game, cause i only got bit a couple of times. I was so far and i had 2 stop so i shut if off cause the save points. i like the RE evil games. but this 1 is better. THIS IS A ALL OUT GOOD GAME, :).

this game must have to be the best Resident Evil game ever made.i think that the graphics are pretty cool & the weapons are the best especialy the magnum & shotgun. this game is a must have game. the enemies are somewhat annoying (dogs,lickers). i think this is the best resident evil game ever. you must buy it if you dont already have it.

First of all, i'm going to say that i really like this game, and is my favorite resident evil game so far. Ok, now on to the review.
SOUND:All of the 'trademark' RE sounds are in the game, such as zombies' moans to cerberus howls, or to breaking and/or walking on glass, are all great.
MUSIC:Music in the the game is good..creates a mood od suspense throughout the game. Some of the music is techno-like, but most of it consists of eerie sounds,and the like. Well done.
CONTROL:If you have a dual shock controller, use the sticks and not the digital...digital can be a pain. The controls are very simple. The left stick is used for running/walking,and by pressing up on the right stick, accesses the items/inventory screen. The L1 button is used to 'quick search' a room to look for items, or to choose the nearest enemy to shoot during battle.By holding the R1 button, it brings up a crosshair to shoot enemies,then pressing the square button fires the gun. And to open doors/check scenery/pick up items is very simple: just walk up to it. By pressing lightly on the stick, you can walk, or to run, hold it all the way up.
GRAPHICS:In my opinion, the graphics in RE:survivor are pretty good, and fit this game perfectly.
ANIMATIONS:Animations, for the most part, are well done in the game. There is variety,too. For example, you may see a zombie that lunges or runs towards you, and there could be the same type of zombie,only he may be limping and move slowly.
RANDOMNESS:What i mean by this is that you can play through the game and you may see a zombie in a certain room, and then next time , no zombies, but spiders,dogs,etc. instead. This really adds to the replay value.
GAMEPLAY:This RE game, unlike the others in the series, is a first-person shooter, which i really like. The game itself is actually almost 3 games in one. You see, at the beginning of the game, you collect a key. There are 3 doors in front of you. You then use the key on one of the doors, then you begin you journey. When i first played this game, i thought i had seen everything in the RE games, and that this game would not scare me or make me jump...well i was wrong...lol. You may enter a room, thinking it is empty, then you turn, and a zombie is right in your face(remember, this is all in first-person view.) Very scare factor, even if you have played this game over and over, something will still make you jump every now and then, trust me on this.
PUZZLES:The puzzles in this game are very,very simple.If(like me) you always liked the other RE's, you wished that there weren't so many puzzles, and more shooting, then this game is perfect for you.
REPLAY VALUE:This game is very fun,and although somewhat shorter than than the other RE's,it has multiple paths to choose from, adding a lot to the game. And, depending on the path you choose, you will find different weapons to use. At the beginning of the game, you have only a handgun. And all of the standard handguns have infinite ammo, which is a very good thing.
SAVE SYSTEM:Since this is a shooting game, when you die, you have continues to use. You cannot save your position in the game, there are no type-writers. When your game is over, all of the weapons and ammo you've collected can be saved to a memory card,allowing you to load the saved game file and start again, at the beginning of the game, with your newly aquired weapons. I like it better this way.
VOICE ACTING:Is the standard RE fare. Nothing too special.
ENEMY AI:Ranges from average(zombies) to challenging(lickers and hunters,spiders,etc.) Annoying(Dogs),to hard-to-kill(The Tyrant)
LASTING APPEAL:With multiple paths,great controls,dual shock support,eerie music and sound effects,and cool graphics(The graphics in this game are the same looking as the graphics in Dino Crisis),and most importantly, is a really fun game to play.
And i don't know what it is, but this gae just has a special 'feel' to it....it seems to get better and better and even more fun to play each tie you play through it.
AND A WORD OF ADVICE:Before i purchased this game, i read all kinds of horrible reviews about it...And then when i played it, i thought to myself,those people are full of crap, among many other things....they must've had a defective game or something. This game is BY NO MEANS a horrible game.Don't listen to those reviews, or you'll miss out on a great RE game. In my opinion, a very worthy(and fun) addition to the Resident Evil series.
Play this game at night for and even cooler RE experience.
