I think that ECW Anarchy Rulz is the most inderrated game for the Playstation Console. | | A gamer from Los Angeles, California, USA says (23/Jan/2003): | I think ECW Anarchy Rulz is the best wrestling game for Playstation. Yes I think it's better than WWF Smackdown!2:Know Your Role. I've played both games and have to say that ECW Anarchy Rulz was the better more entertaining game. This game has better Create A Wrestler Features that surpass those of Smackdown!2 by far. It has better great sound, Acclaim did a great job with the commentating and the wrestler entrances. Smackdown!2 has no commentating and no real wrestler entrances, all they show is the wrestler's video and theme but it does not show the wrestler heading to the ring. As for the game play well there are just so many matches to choose from. They have the usual single, tag team, Three Way Dance, Four Way Dance, Battle Royal, One on Two, One on Three, Lumberjack, Hate Match, Tornado, Team Rumble, cage and hardcore matches. They also have the special matches like tables, last man standing, iron match), Backlot Brawl, 2 ot of 3 falls, finishers only man, I quit and First Blood matches. But they also have original matches such as Deathmatch, Rage in the Cage(not a steelcage match,barbed wire, brimstone and my personal favorite the dumpster match. So you see this game features all of the extreme hardcore action ECW fans have come to love.

Better gameplay, CAW mode, Comentator ( Joey Styles & Joel Gertner ),and many game modes here. My favourite is Table match. In CAW, there are many new moves which not available in hardcore revolution. So, I can create more wrestlers, such as DDP, Albert, Bubba Ray, Matt Hardy, Ultimo Dragon, ect. There are some new wrestlers here which not available in hardcore revolution, like Dusty Rhodes,Kid Kash, Masato Tanaka, ect. But, I don't know why Lace Storm still here ( When I bought it, Storm is in WCW ). But, if we compare it with smackdown 2, smackdown 2 is better. Even though smackdown 2 is better, I still like play ECw anarchy rulz more than smackdown 2.
| Same old action yet again! | | Rich from Riverside RI USA says (2/Sep/2003): | I did like some of the matches, but once again, it is a carboncopy of the wwf series. This game should have been different. Having almost no new options pretty much killed the action. I did like the create a wrestler mode to a point. What I did not like was the silly jobber wrestlers. It should have taken a giant step foreward instead of ten steps backwards. I do have a soft heart, and will give this moderately successful five stars on some of the new additions. It is a shame It could have gotten a ten of it was a clone of warzone.
