I didn't think this game was all that great but it was still very entertaining and challenging at times. The graphics were ok, and the music was good but got really annoying while you were trying to do something difficult. The gameplay was fun the first or second time you beat it but after that, it get's repeatative. One thing I really liked was killing the sheep, bunnies, swimming chickens, and other random creatures. Overall, this is a game I would suggest if you are bored, a pyro, or you want to dirty deeds with innocent sheep and other little animals.

I think that some of the eggs that you had to get were a little lame because in the begaining I know but some times I get stuck and Spyro needs to come out with some cooler games to bring up the score rating of their games. And some of the levels were cool but some of the eggs you had to get were pretty impossible to most people I bet that have played it. And also some of the levels in the worlds were real weird because the Dinosaur level was weird, you had to hit the targets with that monkey dude.WEIRD

Cool! New characters, Sheila the Kangaroo, Sgt. Byrd the penguin, Bentley the yeti and Agent 9 the monkey! You EVEN get to play as Sparx the Dragonfly! But, i have a big bug for you, in Agent 9s lab, when i got the egg with the hint "Snipe the boats" the first time i did it, it said "You already have this egg: Tony" Huh?? My favourite level is Sgt. Byrds Base. Also, i can get 3 skill pionts! Levels: Molten Crater, Bentleys Outpost and Haunted Tomb. Another bug, its hard to make Sgt. Byrd fly. Its hard to find Hunter in Country Speedway.

This game is AWESOME! The music, graphics, characters and plot are all great! Its taken me 5 months to get 100% done, its that challenging! I love it! Its cool how characters take turns playing. You dont get bored with playing with the same person! All the cheats work on mine, so I had help! :) (and its a greatest hits version) Now I see why it was made a greatest hits! If you rent this game, you'll for sure buy it, so why bother wasting your money with renting? Buy this game! Its SO worth! (It was worth the 19.95 I paid!

I absoulutly LOVED spyro 3: year of the dragon!!! The griphics are great, so real!! I liked the sound too, like the music, it was really cool!! And the gameplay was kool, it was challenging, easy and a really great game all together!! And it was really fun!!! And original! I'v never seen a game like it!!
Play and you will see what i mean!! i hope u lke it cuz i sure did!! its a really great graphics, sound, gameplay, lifespan, fun factor, originality and all of that kool stuff!! play and u will see what i mean!!!!!!!!

Spyro Year of the Dragon has got to be the best game ever invented! It is so awesome, I have been playing it for about four years now and its still as awesome as ever, if was my first play station game I ever played and I have completed it 117% 3 times, it is so out of this world awesome and so addicting that I had to time my best score. 117%, no cheats at all in less then 3 hours. This truly, TRULY is awesome and is the best game ever imagined/invented. I very VERY highly recomend it! Good Job Insomniac!

This game is THE best game in the world. i am spyro mad and have all of his games so i should know if they are cool and they are! My favourite level in year of the dragon is the second skate boarding park (in enchanted towres. go there its wicked!). it is soooooooooo cool because you can do these cool moves like raging ripto and gnasty gnorc. I LOVE U SPYRO!!!!!! This is the best game ever made in history so i reccomend to the whole world to buy it! if you dont get it then youll regret it!

In my opinion the game licked balls. i suggest that the older gamers do not play this for i am 23 working in a comic book store and i think the game was totally barberic. What was all that nonsence about sparx anyway. I H8 SPYRO . i think my pizza man has come i shal b of but rememba the game was totaly barberic and i sugest in my humble opinion that u dont get it. AND GET A GIRLFRIEND WHILLE UR YOUNG KIDS. I was born an owner operator and i will die one. good bye for now

I loved this Spryo out of all of them, I was so into it that I finished it in a week and a half. At first some of the challenges were hard but once you get in sync its not impossible. All the different characters make it diverse so the game dosen't get too get boring. I can't wait till I buy the fourth and fifth , well when the fifth comes out. I recommend buying the game, but if you dont like these types of games, don't their not right for everyone. But I certainly loved it.

Spyro: year of the dragon? seriously, loads of people have asked me if it's good, and i said no, it it not good, not brilliant, not fantastic but marvelous, please don't think i am just saying this, but it's true it is da bomb! My20 yr old sister also loves spyro and when i asked her if she knew of a spryo 4 she said yeah, but unfortunatly only for playstation 2! i hope they get one for ps 1 as well! but all i can say is: THANK U SPYRO, BOREDOM IS LOCKED AWAY BECAUSE OF U!!!

I was just playing spyro 3 and it is the best game I have ever played the levels are hard but not impossible and the characters like shiela and sgt bird are really cool. I havent beaten buzz yet so I dont know much about the other then the first area but what a have seen my friends play is great.When i first started playing i didnt know the controls that well but after about 10 minutes of playing i figured out most of the controls they are quite easy to understand. bye

One day My dad came home with three new memory cards for my playstation and my new favorite game, Spyro! I had played it once before at my cousins house but I never really caught on to it. I think it is a great game for experianced gamers and newbies because of its easiness to controll and get the idea of but then all of the challenging features of the game. I would recomend it to everyone especially for people who were fans of the Mario games. I love the game

i have done 95% of it and i am lovin it soooo much i don't wanna complete it! i completed the second spyro and it took me about a year, but this one has taken me a week so far. it is so addictive, i have to play it for about an hour evey day! i found out a quick and easy way of getting 99 lives, which is usefull. i have liked playing spyro since i was seven years old, and loved it since! i have got all my m8s into it now, and even my little brother loves it.

I found that Spyro: Year of the Dragon was the best game on playstation that I ever played! That is, while it lasted. In 3 days i had found that I had 100%, including the skill points! Of course, I had played it about 12 hours each day, but i expected a bit more of a challenge. The first Spyro was so difficult that I just figured out how to beat it a week ago. The second one was just as hard. I just felt that this one was fun, but too short.

This is the best game I've ever played, I've had it for two years and still haven't beaten it. When I first got it, I couldn't get past Spike, I couldn't even find enough eggs to go to certain levels. Then, last night, I put it in and played all night and got passed Evening Lake! I still can't find enough eggs though. I read the atlas and can't figure it out!! But its still the best game ever! I just wish they'd give maps, not directions.

I got playstation 2 for christmas and it just sat there, collecting dust.Then spyro 3 comes out and now I think 90% of our electric bill comes from that playstation!It rocks!!
I love playing Sheila! The bonus level's are awesome.I wonder
how they came up with the diffrent levels and cheats.I mean, who
thought of the squid/skateboard cheat?I can't wait until the next

Many say this game is hard, no way. I completed it in 5 days, 117%!! I got 31,009 on enchanted towers and 14,566 on sunny villa! I really am the Spyro master. Spyro 2 complete in 7 days, Spyro 1 in 10. This is by far the best, as it is far funnier than the others. The sorceress is a let down, Ripto was far better. Now all I need to do is figure what's on the big ledge in the 4th world... Good luck to other players!

I was getting so tired of playing the same thing time after time,then came the little purple terror!Now I can wake-up on weakends and watch Rynocs getting their tail flamed,fried by a laser,wacked with an icicle,blown by a rocket,and kicked out of their wits!This little dragon should have another sequal!!!

As a Spyro enthusiast, I really liked this game. The new characters are excellent-specially the big guy with the club-I love belting things with him!!!! I only have one complaint - unlike in Spyro 2 - when you go to the atlas, it does not highlight where you are at the time, nor does it have names above the swirling doors, which would make things a little easier. Having said that - play it - it's good fun!

This is the best Spyro sequel yet! You can do much more in this game. Play as other characters (Sheila; Sgt. Byrd; Bently; Agent 9), skateboard, play as Sparx, etc. When I first got this I was very frustrated but made it to Midnight Mountain and defeated the Sorceress. (?) I put it up, then just a couple weeks ago I started it up again and won the entire game. (117%)
Buy it...You won't be sorry!
