Better than the first Army men 3d by far and miles better than Air Attack!

Alex Sanderson from Norwich England says (10/Dec/2000):
The variation between using heavy calibre weapons and as a tank commander and Bombers gunner makes the difference between a poor repeat game made to make a few more bucks from the conned buyer.
The sounds from the tank engine are realistic and makes it fun to play the section blowing up everything in site.
After a few goes though this will wear off and being killed off for the 30th time in a vain attempt to get to a command centre in a burnt out city can frustrate the quickest of hands and minds.
I give this game a 7/10 for the fun , more so becouse it only cost £10 or $15 or so.

Definitely worth a go9491

FredG from London, England. says (7/Sep/2002):
Some of the levels can be frustrating, but it's worth the effort in the end. The last Firestorm mission is a pain because the game does not save the levels properly (mine didn't anyway), and I always had to repeat 2 missions that I had already satisfactorily completed. Once the comm tower is destroyed this problem seems to disappear. A previous review mentioned the comm tower as being a problem, but hey - be reckless here (hint!!). The tank level is quite satisfying. Bear in mind that you will also have to think more than in the first Army Men game.

great but frustraiting game10280

Nathan saunders from Southampton says (14/Oct/2002):
this is the first army men game i'v played and i'm will shortly purches another and another if land sea and air game is anything to go by. its great for effect you feel you cold amagine yourself in a war the controls with crawling throwing ect are great but if your trying to walk backward and shot or turn around it can be frustraiting. some levels take longer than others and just when you think the level is impossible it clcks and what to do comes to you it can take time and would be nicer if you could have troops with you.

Pretty good29691

izzy from Houston, Texas, USA says (11/Aug/2003):
A bit too hard for most first time AM players. grafics are a bit too shabby. good weapons and grafics. perfect choice if you are a Army Men game fanatic. No Matter, it is a good game too play. better to beat it twice. Mutiplayer on this rocks! Awsome if you like the original Army Men game.

It seems a very good game at the minitue but there are still levels to go28100

chris from England manchester says (19/Jul/2003):
It is very good the way you have a selection of wepons, differnt zonez and transport. I have only one problem wich is when you have to kill the darlic thingis. Apart from that it is a very good game i would recomend to any one. And one last thing the bomber level is very hard.
