Best Boxing Game Yet |

I didn't know what to expect from this game but after playing it I was impressed. The gameplay was great and the announcing was the best out of any game that I have ever played. I liked the create a boxer mode, it could of used a few things though like a preview mode for the music and more trunks and gloves. The controls are easy enough to master in a short time. With the many modes of gameplay this game and great graphics this game was one to buy. Any boxing fan will want this game.

This is the by far the best game i have played in years sports wise for PS1 this game deserves a 10 for being the best game out rigth now for playstation anyone that is thinking about buying it for PS 1 or 2 it is worth it trust me on that you will never get tired of it

This game is the most realistic game that playstation has ever had. I like the graphics and the way the fighters actually show swelling and fatigue. When I first heard the commentating I was thrilled with the realism. This game has just about everything a Boxing fan could ask for. There are things that could be improved such as creating the fighters. I think there should be a lot more choices for his facial appearance as well as his ringwear. However, I especially liked the fact that you can set the computer to fight controlling both fighters too as a way of possibly( just for fun) predicting future fight outcomes.
Anyway this game should get no less than a "9" from everybody.

This game rocks with awesome graphics, strategy and realism. It includes some of the big names in boxing plus female boxers. If i have any negative comment its the commentry team of barry mcguigan, ian darke...these guys put me to sleep. (Uk Version) I'd rather have teddy atlas, al bernstein anyday. It would be great if EA Sports includes more fighters and the option of defending your title as many times as you want rather than ending /retiring fighter after certain amount of defenses.

What can you say an all round boxing game which offers a lot more from 2000. I like the idea after every fight you can change the boxers look like they do in real life.
The music is great and is the finishing touch to the best boxing game to hit the shelves

After playing Knockout Kings 2001 (PS/1)i was very impressed with the actual gameplay, especially the new Dynamic Punch Control. I was able to make up my own combinations with ease. The addition of female boxers with their own fighting styles was an excellent addition. Unlike the previous version you are now able to attack your opponent from various angles instead of the straight forward approach. Improved defense makes the whole gameplay more realistic. Although the boxers movement seemed a tad slow in comparison with KKings 2000. The graphics were an improvement from last years version. The game was fun especially with the career mode aspect. Creating your own fighter was cool although the choices were not as extensive as i would like. (Being able to give my fighter tattoos would be a good addition.)
Another area that would be great is to include an option were you could choose from a range of sparring partners, with their own distinct fighting styles that mirrors that of your next opponent. Also having promoters would be cool. Another option would be to be able to fire/hire new trainers. Overall i rate this game as an excellent must buy.
