This game is one that kept me hooked for hours on end. With animal buying, cooking, participating in festivals and wooing girls this game could make you blow your top off. However the more you try the better you will do. My sister is always pestering to play on Harvest Moon and has a saved game that uses up FOUR blocks of my 1mb memory card. I am currently trying to get Karen to love me and she has a red heart so i will ask her to marry me. I have 500.000g, ten cows, ten sheep, ten chickens and have harvested over 900 of each crop.

When I first started playing this game, I had no clue what to do. Even in the shop the game looked stupid, but I was bored, so I decided to rent it. Now I'm a finattic!!! This game is so fun!!! I have also played the N64 version too. It was fun. Now I'm itching to play the GBC version and the PS2 version. Along with any other Harvest Moon games that are available. BUT: a note to any beginners. Always read the instructions before-hand and print out some cheats off of the internet first to help you on your way. HAVE FUN!!!!!

this game is fun! i just started playing it, so i dont know at all wat 2 do, but i started by clearing the garden
there r no instructions and the grahics r kinda poor, but the game itself makes up for it.
I called my dog Blazer and the character Tyson, my farm's name is Mt.Fugi.
I jusst got wen i went in blockbusters 2 return and trade an dumb game from the other day, and decided 2 get this one, i dont own it yet, but where can i buy anyway, ill just ask 4 it 2 be on hold(since there selling all there psone games anyway)

Since having played(and own) almost all the Harvest Moon games. I thought the N64 version was the best until I played this game. The leveling-up system for tools is much more realistic than in the other games. The only negative features about this game is that when the clock hits 12 or 6 their is sometimes a delay in movement. Also the save feature is somewhat akward in this game because you have to access the "Block Save Section" because in CD games you can't save to the game. Other then that it is a verry good game.

i luv harvest moon back to nature, i love the fact that there is so much to see do and the time limit is an incredidble aspect to challlenge players. harvest moon is so FRICKIN adiictive. ive spent two day with out sleep finnaly going to sleep at 7:30 and only slet 2 hours before i was back on again. im curentley in my 3rd year in winter iam maried to popuri and have a son, have 10 cows 10.sheep and ten chickens a dog and a horse and about 1million bucks ive boght every thing possible. keep up the good work natsume

It's an easy going game and it doesn't involve killing people! How many games do you know that are out their don't involve killing, their's not many. There are so many different things to do in the game, the possibilities are endless. You can basically do what you want to do but there are a few goals, like getting married and raiseing animals. You don't have to reach the goals you can just bum around all day, it's not as fun though! I personally recommend this game to everyone who likes a good role playing game!

I'm an absolute Harvest Moon FREAK, its beats Pokemon by far,
Considering the hard work thats involved can be pretty tiresome but it does reap its reward, wooing a female, growing stacks of crops throughout the year, earning cash, enlarging your house, owning a dog, horse, sheep, cows and chickens.
And of course how can I forget the FESTIVALS they are the most relaxing and fun things to do in this game. There are still heaps more but what I have to say is endless
HAVE HEAPS OF FUN PLAYING

I have only had the game for about two weeks now and i am onto the 2nd year. I'm hooked and i can't stop playing it. I love the idea of the game, simple yet very effective. There are a few things that could be added to the game such as the amount of energy you have left to be displayed to make the game easier but with or without them it is still a class game. I reccomend this game that prefers this type of game to anyone although i know it will not be liked by everyone. Give it a go anyway!

It is definetly the best RPG game ever made. The Graphics are better than the first one and the girls aren't as easy to woo like in the first one. Like, in the first one, I was married at the beggining of summer and on this one, it takes me until fall. Things are more expensive. They have a bigger town. It is a game the whole family can play. Its a good way of learning about agriculture(kids tell that to your parents and they will think it is educational;)
It is my favorite game.

I'm not much on farming. I used to think it was... well, you know what I mean. I first played the 64 version at a friends house. It looked pretty stupid at first. But within an hour I was hooked. Then I saw the psx version. Of course, I bought it. It is VERY addictive. It has better graphics than the 64 version, better gameplay, more festivals, and more characters. You can also do alot morethan in any other version. I reccommend it for gamers who don't like bloody and gorey games.

Harvest Moon: Back to Nature is the best one out of the HMoon series, in my opinion. It's a nice change from all those fighting games.(I'm not saying I don't like fighting games, I do like them too!) This version is more challenging, and the festivals are better. Some people wonder how I can love such a repetitive game, but you gotta have patience for Harvest Moon! My brother is into all of those fighting games. I like them too, but what can I say? I'm a big Harvest Moon Fan! :)

Harvest Moon: Back to Nature is the best RPG game ever. It is addicting and once you play it you won't want to do anything else. You will be breathing and eating Harvest Moon. The graphics are amazing they are 10 times better than Harvest Moon 64. This is a must play/get game. One of the best games you will ever play. If you buy it you would never regret it. During the game you can get drunk, have a party, get married, have kids, and much more. You must get this game.

When I first got this game it was amazing!! The story, the gameplay is great. I also own the N64 version and I still play both of them. Even though I restarted the game so many times it never gets boring for me. I really like the festivals and wooing the girl of your dreams. this game was and still is one of the greatest games ever created. If you have a playstation and want a fun game, get OFF your butt and go buy this game right away. you won't be disappointed.

I love this Game!! I have three games ( so far! :) ) I'm married to Popuri with a child (^_^) thats growing like his pa, I'm on the 4th year Winter 2nd. I have 10 cows, 10 sheep, and 10 chickens! this game is really great and adicting if u are ready to have fun get this game.i liked this game cause it was a big improvement from the 64 version like bigger village more festivals and u can actually use the recipes to cook!The graphics were a little better and the music is great.Another great thng is u can have up to 20 cows and sheep and 10 chickens and who knows how many fish.If u like the other versions of harvest moon u mmust get this game it is the best so far!

Mann, if u never played dis game u have 2 at least once. Like when I play I can't put it down only went my mom calls me to eat or something like that! But above all else dis game was cool. Harvest Moon is one of the best and also on of my favorite all time games in my whole life! The best thing is u can't die so ur file could go on forever n ever! Mann I have to show my children or grand children this when I get older so they know bout one of the coolest games ever!

I spent about 3 years looking for harvest moon for the 64, and not willing to pay 200 bucks for one game:P Then i found this one and I'm in love. I'm a little confused because its different from the 64 version, but I like and quickly getting used to it. Popuri is my lady of chioce, but I'm thinking of trying for Elli. Man, this is the best game ever! I have played the one on N64 and its crap! The one on PS1 is the bomb! I spend hours on this game!!!! I hope everyone else loves this game as much as me! I love how you can Plant stuff and raise animals. I live in a apartment so i can't have pet, but this game lets me have that and more! I wish they would come out for the computer! If you love animals,having girls fight over, and stuff like that you will loooveee this game!

I couldn't take myself away from it and when I could I found myself thinking about it! It's a good way to not focus on this bothering you in your life. It's helped in also becoming more responsible around home! I do have some problems getting my horse in before it rains the next day but that's okay! I really find that the game imposes chanllengs that are easy to overcome in time! That's why I give it 10 stars, what can I say, I'm hopelessly addicted!

My gaming reviews are usally of Final Fantasy or GTA but Harvest Moon took a special place in my heart back on SNES and when it came out for PSX a while back I got it as soon as it came out. Thinking back on my time playing it I relize how fun it was to get married, own a farm and build friendships. This game should be mixed with Animal Crossing(and have it take place in the city) - That would be a game that would own all(besides final fantasy of course)
