the last time I played harvest moon BTN was four years ago. three months into the game, and I got my other friends to get their own copies and play it as well. you know what, we're still playing it up to the time being since this was one of those games that got us hooked all at the same time! there are three of us, and I mean, we used to take turns doing the chores for spring or summer, or one of us would take the memory card home and play the spring/summer/fall/winter event. it's just that amazing.
graphics are a little on the child-like but who cares? I think that the simplicity behind it all adds to the charm, and everything else just rocks on it's own. sounds, graphics, game play. all that!
now we're doing it all over, I'm writing this review and one of my friend is at the 24th of spring (1st year), tossing turnips into the bin. I'm guessing that after I post this, I'll go have a smoke, and then give my friend a break. he hee, the horse's doing great, and the second egg's hatched. this is going to be a fine year in mineral town.

This game rockz!And the best there would be. I'm married to Karen and now I'm in my 75th year and in Summer 12th. Thanx 4 the people who gave all the recipes, because the only thing that is missing in my game is the recipes. Because i've been playing Harvest Moon 4 quite a tim3, maybe 3years or so? Not to brag but my farm is now at 98% and I have 10 sheeps, 10 cows, and 10 freakin'chickens. Hope that every gamers that would try this game will be better than me. So if u have any questions I've got noooo answers. Oh, I forgot my farm products are now 999, all of them! So it's really hard 2 earn this greatly manipulated products, becoz u'll wait for a long time brother!
Hint: If u want 2 marry popuri in your first year give her weeds. Oh i'm dead serious, she likes them!
So anyway, i'm now playing Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life. It's a great game too u know. And also i want 2 tnx ol da people who created this game, especially Natsume! Hope that Natsume will create more sequels from this game, Mad God Bless Natsume!

Hey this game is the coolest! I am married to Popuri and have a beautiful baby boy. I'm on my 4th year and have cooked up around 40 recipes so if you need any justs email me kk. I don't want to brag, but I guess I'm sorta rich in the game cuz I got around 350,000G. I have 10 cows, 10 sheep, 10 chickens, my horse, and dog. I'm really experienced and know a lot about this game so if you have any questions email me kk! I know what all the girls love the most. I know all the recipes and I know where all the power berries are. And I know how to get an imprint of a mysterious fish. I know it might seem like it would be a fruity game, but it's not so go and buy it now or else bordom will come and get you... bum bum bum tehe...
OH and there is a rumor going around that if you don't get married to anyone by your 4th year Aja will come. That's the winery man's daughter. If you need some advice on how to get a lot of money very quick or need any recipes or need anything in general just email me okay! ^_^^

i just started this game when someone gave it to me and that time we just biught this playstation and we don't have a memory card so we tried to play until for ... ... we don't know but can you imagine without a memory card and we played with couple of sleepless night and we enjoyed it and we now have a wife and a new born baby called Gap gap and our wife is popuri i wanted karen!now i have a memory card and now is 3.36am and we are still playing my bro and i are glued to the television screen coz of this game and actually final fantasy is also good .And thanks for the eips they are really good and please play this game if you have not tried it coz you will enjoy it real soon it is hard to find games for ps1 now so this is the choice and the characters are sooooooooo cute and they way they talk is irrisistable cuteeeeeeeee and the harvest sprites are so cute that you can't stop paying them a visit and those who have already entered the cheat code thanks and i find them very useful!goodluck!have fun!enjoy!

if u want to win the game and u dont have a lot of % on your farm try to do recipes it gives a lot % and girls loves men's who can cook!!
also a good thing to do in winter is to cut some wood or go mining and the best place to mine is on mother hill on the lake there is a mine which u can go in only in winter cauz water is frozen!!
try to be friend with the more people u can cauz they enfluence the mayor thomas to keep you at the end of the 4th year!!
try to get sweet potatoes cauz they grow in 5 days and gives a lot of money and if u get a hot house is the best thing to grow!!

this game is brilliant! one of my faves, i was actually given a copy by a good friend, and had oe look at it and thought "dull" and from then on it lived in my bedroom drawer, until one nite i was bored of al my old games and saw it lying there and thought oh wot the hek il hav another go! and i did and i loved it and did'nt eat for ages, seriously!! no kidding, well it helped get a few pounds off!! i was officially hooked line and sinker, i played non stop got married to popuri had a baby then after the ffth year, accidently deleted all my progress, aaaaaaahhhhh, i freeked completely, now iv had to start all over again but its worth every minute, trust me it looks really **** at first but give it a chance, ul be in for a very good awakening, just like i was now i am soo in love with this game, but i did at one stage get a bit bored after doing it over and over again day after day, this was due to my all or nothing personality, with me i either go ape over something or hate, theres no in between! lol!!

How can you live without this game!!!!!!! It rocks and Im in my sixth year!! It dosent get boring(Once it did I played it for 3 days without sleep). Me and my friends spend hour after hour playing this game.You can get married, have a kid, enlarge your farm,feed animals if I keep going I will just be to excited and go back to playing.This is the best game I ever played!Put down those fighting games and play this.Unlike other games you have many things to do such as level up your tools,clear weeds,marry.
After your 3rd year you could sell your animals and start new without restarting.It is the best if you hate this game your crazy!!!This is no sims its the world of HARVEST MOON!!!So if you dont have it get your butt up off the couch go to a game store and buy it!!!This is the best game I ever played I mean whats not to like about it???Nothing can replace HARVEST MOON nothing this is better than The second one Save The Homeland You only got one year to save the town from being turned into a resort.

Harvest Moon is a great game! Some people say that it is tiresome repetive, etc. It is not! Everyday you learn something new from the villagers! For instance you may be saving up for your first house extension - u get it! U can now cook food! U r saving up for a mayonaise machine- now you can cook different foods!You also need to be friends with every villager to find out their life story- Ex. In the winter gotz tells u not to go up the mountain because theries a snowstorm- u go up their and u end up in his cabin and he says he's family died in a snowstorm. To actually finish the game you need to play it several times! I really like this game because 1.) Its soo addictive 2.) You arer never REALLY done it 3.) You can play at your own rate! One game i had i wasnt married in the second year and this game im married in the winter of the first year to Karen. 4.) You can cook anything almost!! well thats it i think. Hug your dog everyday and when He is full of hearts, Barley will ask you if you want to use your dog with his to make a puppy. I have only given a puppy to Elli's little brother so far and nothing great has happened so dont know if anything is supposed to or who to give it too for something to happen. Anyone know when to go and see the Winter flower on Mother's Hill? What is supposed to happen if you see it or pick it? How can you help Lillia with a red magic red flower? Can you help her with it? Also I have put my bushel basket in the center of the hot house and have never lost it to a hurricane. You also need small stones to make a special baked potato with sweet potatoes. The small stones appear when you first are trying to clear your farm at the beginning of the game. I am married to Mary, the librarian. She loves Cabbage. If you use the sprites to water your crops, watch them because they dont do a very good job. Is ther no secret cavern in the regular cave like there is in the winter cave?

Yes, for those who do not know it this game is a series, I have played the very first one of it when I was tiny, like 3 or 4 or something. I have gotton to play lots of the versions and I love them all. So before I got harvest moon btn I pretty much knew a bit about the game already. I really want harvest moon save the homeland and a wonderful life and the girl versions for it, its so ultimatly fun. Right now I am married to Ann, 2nd year 22nd of Spring and I got married to her like a month ago and me is blue hearts with Elli, green with Popuri and purple with Karen and Mary. I gots to make friends with the rivals of them so I can go to their wedding. My favourite person on the game is May, shes just so little!! She reminds me of my next door neighbour!!! Oh yes and I have 7 chickens a cow and a sheep and have shipped lots oh harvesting, all extensions 'cept hot house and havn't got the machines yet, I don't really see any point to getting the hot house but I will get it anyway eventually..

Ok I have to tell the truth i have never played Harvest Moon on the 64 but i have been looking for it but now luck.:( Well any way! Harvest Moon: back to nature is the best game ever! And the way you get to marrie people is cool but the only thing i don't like about this game is that you can't choose to be a boy or a girl but if you could the game would be perfect! And on winter 26 on the 4th year if you fall asleep on the brige nere your chicken coop it will break and your wife(if you have one) and child(again if you have one) will come out and then grots will come by and ask you to help him fix it and he will pay you! And an easy way for your kid to like you more is to give him some milk every day and take the dog to him and let him talk to him and soon his hearts will rise. And if your good friends with rick some day he'll come bye and ask you to take care of five chickens and he brings the food that they will need for as long as you keep them and he lets you keep all the eggs they lay!

Harvest Moon is the best ever! You won't believe it when you see it! It is the best ever! There is 5 girls to chose from. You have Karen, Mary, Elli, Ann and Popuri. You have to marry one of them. You raise up there hearts my giving them presents. You start off with, blue, purple, yellow, orange then red! Once it's red you buy a blue feather. You ask her to marry you and if she says yes, You got a wife!(you have to have the 2nd house extension.) If you continue to give her presents for 30 days , she will become pregnant and have a baby. She gives you clues like, I dont feel goood. You also have to Take care of animals and work on your farm. You should also make friends . You can cook, go to festivals, enter in festivals and sell things to make money! I play Harvest Moon every day. It is very fun and is changelling. Thats why I like it!! It also is a quick game. You have around 12 hours in a day!(Regular 5 min. each hour. If that). Harvest Moon is good for me and it can be good for you.

This game is cool! When my friend first told me about it, I thought it would be like sorta like war. Then he showed me his farm,and I loved it sooo much that I started my own farm. Now I have a massive house, married to Popuri, I have built everything you can build, and I have 1 million dollars. I like this game 'cause it makes you think,. and it teaches you to takr care of things and to take responsibility for your actions. Also, I have a question to ask. If you marry Karen, who does Rick get to marry? does he marry, or does he stay single? Also, what happens if one of your chickens wins the sumo tournament twice or more? does the chicken its self turn gold? or does its egg just go up in value? Oh and just a hint Natsume, in Winter, the music is a little depressing. Not that i'm a sad case, but I think you could make it a little cheerful in winter. Keep up the good work! oh, and can you get your farm up to 100 percent? and i love this came 'cause you can't get sore eyes from it

I just love this game soo much because from the very first time my classmate let me play it in the gameboy i was addicted to it and now that i have a playstation i can now play it on my own and with a memory card...Ohhhh i just love this game very very much.... BUt so sad that our ps1 is broken so i am back to non harvest moon life....TOO BAD but still THE GAME ROCKS.....especially the BTN and now i just play in sometimes if my cuzins let me borrow thiers. And even though i still look for many cheats and now that i found many i am so excited to play it again....... I love the adventure thats why i rated this 10....I really love it though... But if you want to get the cheats i found go at this websites; www.absolute-playsation.com, www.hmfarm.com and just find others O.kk Glad i can help... i LOVE HARVEST MOON so much! and i thought i would help some people with cooking skills on harvest moon so... ok you put milk in the blender to make butter and to make ketchup you get a tomato, onion then put it in the mixer with some sugar,salt and vinegar! and if you give an egg to yodel he will tell you how to make ice cream! and if you give a ear of corn to saibara then he will tell you how to make pickled turnips. if you give honey to louis then he will raise the price on the honey and will tell the buyer to buy it for more,after that you can give him 1,2,or 3 more honeys and he will tell you how to makeapple sauce..or somthing like that! i know this cause im on year 7 and im married to popuri and have a boy who is growing rapidly, and 10 chickens,sheep,and 3 cows and still growing.i like helping others with harvest moon, im getting a gameboy sp so that i can buy harvest moon that is on gameboy sp, so im so excited! actually i think im going to play harvest moon right now!

First of all, I have to say that I own the majority of the Harvest Moon games and oh yeah, they all rule! A game doesn't have to have violence to be good or entertaining. And to the people who think that Harvest Moon is sexist cause they only let you play as a boy, well, they haven't played Harvest Moon: For a Girl.(In which you, as a girl, can marry Kai, Cliff, Gray, etc.) This is a good game and has a portable version for GBA.(Friends of Mineral Town) This type of game doesn't come along often, but is worth it. The graphics aren't that great, but the story line more than makes up for it and the Harvest Moons can be played for year after year. The game is suited for all ages and sexes. I fell in love with it and showed it to my girl friend and she fell for it too. It is the best and the one and only for all true gamers. The music is soothing, the people are charming and the plot is fantastic. Believe you me, you will love this game and will love it for years to come.

I love this game, and the graphics are splendid. It's not my favorite game, because I'm more into action games (i.e. Final Fantasy...), but it's definitely a game I could play for hours on end.
There are only two things about the game that really bother me, but they're not big deals. The first thing is how long it takes to get into another room. When you open a door, it takes a long time for the new screen to load, and if there's new BG music in that particular area, that takes a long time, too. Another thing is how it tends to get tedious after a while; the days are much longer than they are in the N64 version, and after being hooked on that version for about a year, it tends to grate on your nerves. Due to the fact that the days are so long, you find yourself repeating things you've already done, and after about the first two months it starts to get tedious. After that the gameplay picks up a little, but it's just those first two months...
Great game, I say!

Harvest Moon Back To Nature was the most awsome game i ever played. I relly liked how they made it challenging by giving you a time limit to improve the farm. I really got the feeling that i was a real farmer. I like how you can get helpers to help you on the farm so you don't hace to work so hard. My favorite person is Karen be cause she is hot. My favorite festivals are the chiken sumo festival and the tomato festival. The graphics were not the greatest but they were ok. I really had fun playing it. I liked the sound a lot becaus it sounded like a real farm. I think a game like this should be up in the price be cause it is a really great game. I really did not like the small amount of seeds to choose from.I also like how you can remodel your home and other buildings. The only thing i would change is that we could get bigger tools that make it a lot easyer when you have to harvest a huge load of crops. I also like that you can get married to the girl of your dreams.

I didn't know the maginfiance of "Harvest Moon BTN" until my friend introduce me to it. He told me to borrow it and play this cool unique game for a few days.
At first, I didn't pay much attention to this game until when my friend e-mail me and asked if I like the game or not.
So I quickly started to load the game and started playing. I WAS AMAZED!!! The game was absoutely amazing! The storyline was totally dramatic and creative. And as for the game itself, I totally love the cooking part and the getting-to-know-the-characters-better part.
It is more than just a farming game. You can woo your favourite girl, and you could also be a matchmaker and match the couples up, you could also enter the festivals that is like a mini-game. Also, the fun never ends, you can't finish this game really, I LOVE THIS GAME!
So I told my friend if I could borrow it for a few more days and then so on...until my friend got ticked at me and told me to buy my own copy. =)
