This game is so much fun.I used to always rent the old super nintendo one.But the place they had it at gave it away and then my parents looked for a new Harvest Moon game.It took 4 years or more to find Harvest Moon.I am in the 3rd year and in Fall.I upgraded my house once and my hen house.I cooked 7 things(half of them off the Tuesday show).My cow has golden milk also.I haven't got married yet but I want to get married to Ann or Elli.Does anyone know how much money and lumber you need to get your house upgraded again?If you do please email me.I only have about 27% on the game too.I hope the villagers let me stay.Oh and does anyone know what things Elli and Ann like the most?Email that to me too.Well if you don't have this game I suggest you get it.THANK YOU NATSUME FOR MAKING THIS GAME!!!!!!

All the reviews you might have read, well their all true. I'm uasally a little spectical when buying a game I've never rented or played over at my friends house. But this game is worth it.
I personaly like the graphics that are in this game I mean their not resident evil quality but they get the job done
The background music in this game gets a little annoying after awhile. It starts playing tropical music during the fall. But this is not the game that is made for music
The gameplay is pretty sweet and the storyline is off da hook.
The controlls is very simple and easily to learn.
Overall I give this game a 8 in graphics (out of 10)
I give this game a 4 in sounds (out of 10)
I give this game a 10 in gameplay (out of 10)

Harvest Moon: Back to Nature is so wonderful it doesn't compare to ANY other game. It provides great challenges and will keep you busy playing for months on end! I mean, Harvest Moon: GBC was fun, but I craved better. Then, I bought harvest Moon: Save The Homeland. After only one year and it ended, it wasn't much of a challenge for me. Then, I found Harvest Moon: Back to Nature. I was then officially a fanatic. I brought the guides with me to school. I started a website. I even started dressing up like Ann! I thought the game would end at the 3 year mark, but no, it keeps on going! That's great! And it's one of those games you want to play over and over because you want to marry every girl and thus have new experiances. I love it. I HIGHLY reccomend this game.

This is one of the best game of mine. Well, my remarks are:
Even though the cover looks a little chidish but when you start palying it.. you'll think its a fun game and will continue playing for hours. That's me when i started playing at first. When I played that game, I didn't feel like being around the city. It's like so fun planting, raring animals, communicate with the villagers and some sort of like that. I didn't like using cheats or any gameshark codes. If you use if, it wouldnt be a fun game anymore cos' you cannot earn the money by your own. Anyway this game actually makes me more cheerful when i've started playing... To those whose not playing i advise START PLAYING NOW to get a nature life at 'Harvest Moon Back To The Nature' !!!

Dis game rocks i have been playin 4 ten years and i cant stop!!! the reason i cant stop is because dis is the coolest game to ever be done!! the graphics and music are skill!! like when you talk to your cow it says 'MOOOOOO' that is too cool 4 skool! when i first started playin i thought that you could only marry the girls that were available but i kept on playin till year ten and Dukes daugter Aja came back and i married her! WHOA! that was seriously too cool 4 skool!! On my second game file i got to year 12 and the new option of having your house, barn and chicken coop being enlarged again each with second floors BUT you can only do this once you have married Aja (Duke the alchoholics daughter). ps this game ROOOOOOOOOCCCKKKSSS!!

This is the best game I ever played! The graphics are very cute, especially the way my character runs. The music is just great and the sound is clear and doesn't get stuck somewhere in the middle of the game. The storyline is fascinating and can really get me glued playing it for hours on end. Not to forget the festivals...they're so fun and original, especially the Tomato Festival!!! And the cutscenes are very interesting too. Also, I learned quite a lot about time management and farming through this game. I think that Natsume did a really great job on this game. The best thing about the game is the way it resembles real life, with the need to build relationships and work for a high percentage for the farm at the same time.

This game is pretty addictive and fun, when I bought this one, now I never think about buying another games! I play this game over and over because this game, even without any battle and some great battle system, I think is better than other RPG. And this game has its own different unique things that makes you never stop playing the game. And this one has good graphics, I like it. But this one has bad things like clock that moves too fast, and you will hear the music and sound again and again, it will make you bored. I don't like the sound when stepings too, and the same things, there is no variations on things like tree stumps, weeds, the graphic is same. But it's okay I believe you won't get bored with this one.

I love the fact that you have to earn your way to better tools, I love that you have to actually become a member of the town before they really like you, umm.. I don't know I just really really like it, I like the balance of challenges you have to make all through the town. It's well made, and it's diffently worth playing. The only complaint I would say is that I don't believe you get to interact with the kid enough (when you get one) I really thought they could of slightly improved on that, but oh well you get whatcha get. But, I loved the game so much that my brother had to keep it away from me (being a little sister sucks XP) because I was playing it far too much (since the playstation is in his room teehee).

When i first started playing my man was broke my horse got taken away and i did not have a clue what to do. Then i started a new game i was doing so well my horse was with me i was about to get married and i had everything but a green house. When my wedding day game i was so exited then after the wedding she asked what i wanted her call me i said honey but then the game frose i started paniking i tried everything to get it to work and then i started to cry now i getting a new one this weekend.but this game has to be the coolest ever u must buy u heard buy now for your own sake. I mean getting chickens cows sheep and all the festivals watching the fireworks with your wife or girl friend. You must buy must buy!!

Harvest Moon: Back To Nature is one of the best games i have ever played! When i had played the game for a while and wanted to get married i gave the blue feather to one of the girls. After the scene in the church she asks what i should call her and when we go to bed the screen turns all black!! The game freezes every time i try! It's always after i get married. At first í thougt that it was my Playstation that was broken but i tried to get married on a friends Playstation and Playstation 2, but it still wont work!!! I've heard that others have the same problem so it's not just my disc. I really want to get married so does anyone know if there is a way i can do it with gameshark or something like that.

I am a giant fan of RPG and kill um all games. this game just rocks. from the moment i got this game i have been hooked. take the graphics, there not the best, but there far better than any "sim" type game i have played. There are so many different things you can do, id recommend it for anyone. sure the sound may not be the best but i always turn it down and turn the radio up. i have played it from beguinning to end sever times. i still play it. its like no other game out there. besides the origonal harvest moon and versions for other systems. this game has a good story, plenty of events and objectives, even has a few hidden things to seek out. this is by far one of the best games i own.

Truly one the most dynamic gameplays ever put into a single game.
Not for the impatient and quick pace person. Just sit back take some time and get to know your neighbors. This game and it's series has been a great staple point for the next RPG. Great colors, and music as well as of cousre gameplay. Been a fan favorite in household since it's inception. Everyone who has seen me play it has gone out and gotten their own and I can tell you it is at least 10 people. I have never been more impressed with a game than I have with this instant classic. To all those who thimk this is a childs or a chicks game think again, this 24
year old would like to challenge your ability to paly this game.

I started playing this game last year and I am so adddicted 2 it that I went on google.ca looking 4 more stuff about it! I havent played any other harvest moon games, this is my 1st one. I do no howeva, that the old harvest's had way lower graphics and that everythin was smaller. I like this one beacause it's outside is adorable, but really it's hard work, it teaches u sooooooo many lessons like, u have 2 work hard 2 succeed and about true love and cooperating. It teaches u all that good crap. I just wanna say that if u dont like this game than u dont deserve 2 play any games at all! Harvest moon btn will steal ur heart! Oh ya, I also like final fantasy's as well if yer wonderin...

Havest Moon is an absolutly WICKED game! It is my favourite game by far! I love that you get to raise the animals(dog, chicken, cow, horse, sheep, fish) and that you can find wild animals(I once kept a rabbit in my home)I wish there was a cat though. This game is also one you start playing and can't stop! My mum was yelling at me when I played it for 9 hours straight! I haven't beat it yet, but i'm on my way! I love all the festivals and the sprites are soooo cool!! The beach and libary are awesome to visit in your free time. I probabally could go on and on and on etc. The colour and graphics and music are great! So what are you waiting for? Go get the game and play it!!!!!!!!

U should really get this game! I started playin it when i was bout 7 (now im 11). Well I started off with the SNES Harvest Moon, but i got older and more and more Harvest Moon games and i bought almost all of them (even the Game boy ones but there crapy). Well the HM BNT game is better than them all, it has better graphics more animals, a bigger selection of crops, more items (basket, ball, all of the cookin stuff etc.) and more people. The part i likes most is u get to cook. Its really fun to see if the Judge person will like ur food or not. The feedin the animals part is really fun when u feed ur animals and see if they will like u. Well buy this game its great!

I first discovered Harvest Moon in my local video rental shop. I must have sat on the sofa for 3 days running playing this game. Not only does it provide hours of fun, but it helps you learn how to budget your money (something I have trouble with!), manage businesses and how to treat other people.
I've never found a game like this before, it's very unique. The sound and graphics are clear and precise. Just a warning though-I played the game for a few hours straight and when I tried to save it, the memory card froze on me.It's a very large game and takes up 4 blocks on the memory card so try to save it at least every 2 days within the game!!!!

The game is just fun. This game was awsome the gameplay is incredible. Its much better than the hm64. The reason the gameplay is so good is because you get to control the outcome of everything you face weather it be milking your cows or growing your crops.And the graphics its solife like.Like the little critters in the forest they look real, as do the farm animals, sceneres, buildings,and woods.Like first time i went up to mother hill it took my breath away because it looked so real. and the game its just fun.like the tomato festival when you get to clobber the town people with fresh harvested tomatoes. I think its just a really great game for all ages to play.

I just want to say this-SCREW ALL YOU DEMORALIZING POINTLESS $60.00 CRAP GAMES, this game is wholesome, fun filled, creativity at it's best loads of fun..... and most of all easy to learn, great replay Value, and Above all else It's an RPG that make Other RPG's SEEM LIKE ATARI's ASTOROID- let me explain-we've got some great Rpg's out there(I'm not arguing that)what I'm saying is, this game didn't need the FF- budget It doesn't have to have crazy ass Graphics it's fine it's fun- Quick shot out to the writers (you did a truely great job) and all the designers and creators-you guys rock for actually coming up with somthing I'm proud to own.....

Harvest Moon:Back to Nature is my favorite game of all time and the best game you can find on Playstation.Heck,its the best game you can find on any system.Its a very unique game and its interesting and original.You will play it all day because its so addictive,and it has non linear,real time game play.You can raise many animals and go through many village events and get married along with making friends in the village.There are different times of the year in this game too and tons of things to do so it never gets boring.You can play it in so many different ways and the graphics are awesome.I love the music,too.You must buy this game.
