this game is the best i have ever played in a while the 2nd and 1st were good but this one is by far the BEST ever!!!! i can play it all day long and my fave player is Geoff Rowley he is awesome!~!~ tony hawk keepm making these awesome games and i heard about the tony hawk game coming out TONY HAWK UNDERGROUND i think is the name it sounds so sick!~!~!~

I don't get the people who are complaining about THPS3, beceause it really kicks ass. The levels are much bigger and more beatifull then ever. The tricks are the same, but look way cooler. And you can't jump as high as in THPS1 & 2 (I see that as an advantage). So, my conclusion is that THPS3 is really the game of the year 2001.

This game has been mine for only 10 hours and I'm lovin it! It's much better than first thoughts, loads of secrets to keep you busy, great characters including my favourites, Darth Maul and Bam Margera. A challenging game to keep you glued to the T.V screen and when you're finished you can go off and create characters or parks to show off or beat your mates on. Grab this game and play it!

The graphics rock and so does the band inner mind but neway the videos are whack especially Rodney Mullens "wow how does he do those things". He is my idol skater. First i didn't like how you didnt have the cheat option there on the menu, and the gameplay was sort of easy but was wy to much to get the other hidden characters.Overall on the graphics was a 6.And the game had some unrealistic features like riding on the grass and grinding look like you were flying above the rail. Really the hidden characters were great i mean great but u couldve made it easier to get them. And also easier to get the cheats in, I would also the people should stick to thps4 and the others this is the only bad one there really i think this game was slacked off on.

It is wery good game with great videos and new tricks like specials and sliding,fliping,and more but I can't find codes for all stuff like I can find cheat for Tony Hawk pro skater 2 like spiderman,officerdick,and new level.But I can't find that for TH3 to get new people like in the old one but it is still great and cool.I have cuple of cheats and i pass alot of the game get movies and i cant have everything 100% in that game.

I enjoyd playing thps3. Its fun having different levels than the rest but it could have been better with a lot more options at choice. Like more stuff to choose in park editor or other stuff to choose from in create skater. Otherwise it was a good game
I think if there is going to be one more i suggest u do some things like being able to get off the board and walk or jump maybe even fight.
Or even be able to create your own picture on deck.
if u are concern on how it is realistic wise then u should make so if u stuff up then there is a chance urdeck or trucks could snap then you will need to buy more
i also think you should be able to create your own trick
well to give you a mark i think it deserves a 8/10

I think that Tony Hawks Underground is a real piece of s***. The company has seen that its sales for previous title is falling so they design something that not worthy to be called "a Skateboarding game"!

Well, my buddy bought the new Tony Hawk and we were pretty excited considering how good the last one was. We played it for an hour and went back to Devil May Cry. Ive been playing it all morning and it just isn't as good as the last one. The levels suck, its hard as hell to land tricks, and its just not as fun. I guess its cool that theres some different skaters and the create a skater is good (i guess) but thats it. I really could care less if i can change my grip tape, wheels, hats, socks, who gives a $#< remove me > at ! what there wearing anyways. This game really let me down and I would of rather get a 12 pack and watch tv than play through the game anymore. the levels get worse as you go on, and even the music kinda sucks. Stick to your gigantic skatepark tour Tony.

Neversoft and Activision do it again with Tony Hawk 3! This is one of one of the best sports games that doesn’t involve a ball to come around in a long time. In my opinion this game almost as good as SSX and a lot better than ANY other skate boarding game ever made. The gameplay is very similar to the previous two titles, adding only the “no comply” and the “revert” command. All of the normal single player modes are in the game, in addition to the new Tutorial Mode to help newbies get started or experts brush up on their moves.
Compared to the other two titles this Tony Hawk offers better graphics, music, create skater customizations, and levels. There are 13 skaters in this game including “Jackass” Bam Margera. There also are 8 different levels in this game and they are so much bigger than the ones in TH 1 or 2. The park editor is bigger and better also. The create skater option is jammed packed with a plethora of customizable options, including jewelry and tattoo’s. You also can do a trick off anything and everything in this game including humans. The game runs at a blazing 60 fps and looks just as good as SSX. It is also the first Playstation 2 game that is Internet compatible. That’s right, in just a few minutes you can play with friends across the street or across the world without that annoying split-screen effect.

I bought thps3 yesterday. i ecpected it to be the coolest game yet since thps2 was soooo much better than 1. was i right? hellll no!!!!! this game sucks. Everythinbg is small!! everything sucks so bad. not one good level!!!! its better than part 1 but not by much. its the same thing as thps2 just with slight changes that suck!! WOW you can earn tricks!! how stupid. thps2 was the best and thps3 shouldve been soo great at least 3 times as much as thps2. but it wasn't even half as good. people dont waste your money or time with thps3. you will be very dissaspointed. whoever tells you that its the best game ever is lying. they just dont want to believe how bad this game sucked. Thps3 is just a sad attempt to make some more money!!very sad!!!! i beat the game the first day. pert 2 took me a long time which uis fun because of the challenge. thps3 i beat in 3 hours. thps 1 took me about 3 weeks. U'd think Activision and shaba and neversoft would have made this game the best game ever created. but its one of the worst. thos game sucks a lot. dont buy it. ohnly buy it if its $5 cuz thats all its worth.

obviously the people that are bashing this game dont know what they're talking about. i've been a skater for 13 years now. and who cares if the levels arent to realistic. he gave you real levels in the 1st 2 games. my god theres just no satisfying some people. its the 3rd from a series why cant you just be happy in something they worked hard for, and quit complaining that it only has the same people ... BIRDHOUSE IS HIS SPONSER DUMB__!! ..of course theres not gonna be much more else in lineup. god some people are stupid. for all the people that bashed this game with the stupidest remarks. get a life. i highly doubt you could make a much better game if given the money. thank you

This game was a total letdown. 2 new tricks, whopee. Create a skater, Grind session had that! Christ! Sure you can make em look cool with new clothes, but who really cares??? Thps2 Was SOOOOOOOOOOOO much better. I couldnt stop playing it! It was soo good! So many goals, so many secrets! Such great environments! Who gives a damn if you can knock down a person? who cares if you can knock a bully into the snow? in thps2, it felt like you were like, really good at the game. But now, like some other guy said, its almost impossible to land a 360! Not enough goals, not enough new tricks, hell, activision should have added new skaters! This game was so disappointing...

I posted a review on 11/4. I spent all of 11/5 playing the game. This game is good, worth the money. Someone else asked how we could be upset since it is so hard to make a great game better. THPS2 was way better than THPS1. THPS1 is a great game. So they came out and blew all of our minds with 2, how can you fault people for thinking that they could pull it off again? It's a good game, but THPS2 is still my favorite. If I did it all over, I would still buy this.....I bought PS2 JUST for this game!!!!

To everybody on here who has posted a bad review: You are misinformed.
First of all, this is the PS1 version of the game. The PS2 version of the game is LOADS better. It has added animations, flatland tricks, hidden combos, bigger levels and countless other additions. The PS1 version isn't much compared to it. But compared to THPS2 for PS1, it IS better. It doesn't have "2" new moves added, it has SEVERAL new moves, even more if you include specials.
Can't land a 360? Maybe video gaming isn't for you. 360's are a breeze unless you are pathetic at the game. Boost up your stats, maybe. I think the people who have trouble landing 360's should be playing another game.
Oh, and just to clarify, the No Comply ISN'T a new move. One review here says it is.
I would recommend this game. It IS worth it.

This game sucked the first day I played it. But the n i went online, found some gameshark codes. All I needed was perfect balance to make this game awesome. They set this game to do so many sets of $#< remove me > at !. You can do a grind+ manual+ grind.... And once u beat it 3 times u get kid mode, which is not that many times. You can do a 900 into a manual which is raw as hell. CHEATS MAKE THIS GAME GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No one can really say. It is oppinion. I know all of you people say you hate the game or dislike it. If its on a PSX I agree with you. However, the version for PS2 is a LOT better. I have played both and I must say it is like Tony Hawk 2 but what is wrong with that? It IS like THPS2 except that Neversoft has added better things. All of you people that say you like THPS2 should like THPS3 because it is essentially the same thing only a little better. Now that I've got that out of the way.....
I love the graphics (for PS2) even though it is fantasy it almost seems real.(Except Tokyo)
The sound was also good. The tracks were mostly good but the soundtrack that is sold in stores differes from it slightly. Overall good sound quality.
Now the gameplay is another story, it is WAY too easy. I beat it in about nine hours and I was still not really trying. The revert is really cool in the combos but it still gives low point values. Even though I've beaten it I will play it again because I think all THPS games are good and they are still ok to play.
Also, I think not including Bob Burnquist stopped some people from playing it.

All I see on here is that these people are not impressed with how Pro Skater 3 is and how it's just like 2. Then I see them saying how Pro Skater 2 was soooo cool and how they were addicted to it. By association, you'd think that since it's just like 2, then it would be as addictive, and it is. I can't put down the controller, dispite college assignments. New levels with old ones popping up as you go on is a great touch. Adding the old levels was a great idea. Next you have gameplay. Two more features plus online play soon will have all of the kids at Christmas time just waitin' for spring to come around. Finally you have better graphics than before. What else could you ask for? If you haven't bought the game yet, then buy it already. This game will become a must have for the PS2. If you're a fanatic of the game, then you should have no reason to not buy it either.
