Just as good as THPS1 & 2 |

When I first played Thps 3 I did not like it, the reason for that is that there isn't much new in this game, ok the graphic is a bit better but no new features.
After a while playing the game I just loved it, the lack of new features doesn't matter as long as you get some amazing new levels. After playng THPS 3 for a couple of weeks now, it is very easy to beat with any skater. But still there is hours and hours of fun in this game. And then I just love the 2- player function, it's realy great to beat one of your freinds in the two- player game HORSE.
So all in all a realy great game, the best I've been playing for a while.
So thumbs up for this game, if you dont have it go and get it.
I have been playing THPS 3 for playstation 2 as well, and even though I dont have a PS2 I will buy this game just for the day I'm going to buy a plasystation 2.
Please dont mind the spelling, I'm not from an english speaking country.

I LOVE the game it is the only one I ever play. The only thing I don't like is the limits on building your own park! I think that you should be able to put in full pipes, and more than 4 high. I really like the way the game is set up. I like that you can do a free skate because other games you can't. But I really liked that you could make your own skater too. The other thing I don't like is that in the free skate you have to unlock all of the parks I think that is pretty dumb. But Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 is one if not my favorite game for Playstation ever made. It is fun and isn't always the same like if you play the free skate once then again its fun all over again, because you learn new tricks and learn to do new things. It really is a fun game and I like the graphics on it. It surprised me that I was playing Playstation when I first turned on the game because the graphics are just phenominal. I really love all the parks and all the different things you can make, I also like the different types of skaters that you can make. I like the great variety of things to do on the game. So in other words if I could pick one game out of the 111 games that I have for Playstation. The game I would pick would definately be Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3. It is the BEST game I have ever played! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

The game was outstanding, except for the muchly exaggerated special tricks. I loved the new freestyle moves, and most of the new levels were good as well. The best part about THPS3 is the video you get for getting all gold medals with Rodney Mullen, it is amazing!!!!!!!!!

Hey this is steve id just like to say this is a great game but very addictive and in order to get all the secret charecters and levels u have to do the sameeeeeeee damn thing over and over and over... AND thoe damn secret tapes what the HELL are they for... its point less.. they should be more creative. More levels and more secret areas. They need more more more more... Not the same thing as all the other tony $#< remove me > at ! games.. The only thing i looked forward to was Rodney Mullens Video and the bails. Im not a vert person ... Tonys all about money ... And if u all have any secret areas like in the cruise ship email it to me!! I cant find $#< remove me > at ! in that level

I think this is the best game ever. What other game lets you skateboard till your heart falls out. It all so has a great selection of skaters. I have never played a game as fun as this one. It has a awsome selection of music. It also has the best

i love tony hawks games and i always play tony hawks 2, and i would play tony hawks 3 2 but i cant complete any of da good levels cos i have no damn cheats!i would play da game all the time if i could get me hands on some decent cheats. i look it up and it just says if you 100% the hole game den u can unlock this character or this level. i mean wat da hell good does dat do!!!why da hell would ya need cheats for it if u ave already completed da game thats just plane lame. gimmie some helpful cheats. damn it, makes me angry just thinkin about it!but seriously thow, its sa good game but i reckon Bam Margera dosent look real enough. bam rox dude!!me cus amy agrees.thps3 rox 2.over all its a pretty kick ass game, cheats r a must thow, alot of games r almost impossible widout cheats. i reckon the music on it is not as good as thps2 thow unfortunatly but it is still alright. something i am defenatly against in this game is graphics, mainly characters. bam dosent look real and tony hawk dosent look dat good either.

People, its a friggen game. Dont waste your fricken time posting comments about how you hate the game. If you dont like it, no one wants to hear why. And if you suck so badly at the game that you cant beat it and you need cheats, then get a life. And if you skate board and say this game sucks (or other Tony Hawk games), id like to see you go do the tricks the pros do nowadays. So If you got a problem, go see a shrink. For those of you who posted good reviews, good for you, keep it up. At least some people are positive nowadays.....Anyways.. this game is great. The graphics arent bad at all and the gameplay is excentric (did i spell that right?). The build your own park is a sweet idea for those of us who like to plan out unique things. It also is cool that the create-a-skater allows you to choose so many items. The hidden areas and mission goals are creative. Even though i adore this game, i think Underground is better.
P.S. For those of you checking reviews, dont pass this one off. Its a perfectly fine review. Im just stating my opinion of other reviews and the game.

No better than THPS2 |

Two days ago I bought this game... I wnet to my house and then I put the disc in my PS... A great intro!!! Then I began to play...
I select Kareem Campbell and the first stage: WHAT A INCREDIBLE STAGE!!! Bigger than any stage of THPS2!!! But... there weren´t differences between THPS2 and THPS3!!!
How awful!!! I think that the new version of Tony Hawk´s game will be incredible, but it is the same thing that THPS2. Only 2 or 3 new tricks on Kareem Campbell... The Specials Tricks were too different but any else was it...
Weel, I think: If you want to buy some sakter game, PLEASE, but THPS2 and enjoy it. Don´t spend your money in THPS3.

This game simply rocks. There is no other way to describe it. It's vintage Tony Hawk witha few new cool moves and tricks. Revert is awesome, and the graphics look great. It's also a ton faster because of the increased framerate possible on the PS2. Oh, yes, and the music selection is the best yet. I don't who these jokers are on here who are saying that THPS3 is weak. You would almost think these people have never played a good game in their life. I suppose they think Devil May Cry sucks too. Whatever, disregard the rumors that this game sucks, because it just that the people who wrote the decending article suck, that's all.

First, let me start my saying that i have never played a Tony Hawk game before.. however, i have rented other skate boarding games, and skate board myself. This is by far the best skate boarder game ever created, not to mention that fact that it is the first ONLINE PS2 GAME!!!!!!!!!!! How can anyone talk bad about the first online ps2 game, that not only supplies its buyers with excellent game play, and maps/ characters, but also can be played multiplayer from one house to another. The only thing that i can think of is that the people who rented Tony Hawk, must not have been able to Purchase the product, which also means they probably don't have enough cash to buy a cable modem, which in turn means they cannot feel the full effect due to there own financial status and have to put down an awesome game to make them feel better about not being able to buy it. All you people who think this game sucks need to get a life. I loved it. The levels were great (especially the women covered cruise ship) and the graphics were great too. I'm not dissin anyone in particular but there ARE some great new tricks. Some people judge too tough. I think the game was a little short but some things were hard like beating the compitions. If you think that was easy I dont even want to hear your. I Liked this game. Buy it for Ps2 on One it does really suck!!!!

Alright. Ive been a fan of the tony hawk series even before the 1st game came out, back when the game was only a mere concept. I thought that 1st game was great, but it didn't have enough fetures or secrets. #2 was THE best ps game ever made, combined with cheets the game had endless possibilities. you never got sick of it. Ive had tony hawk 3 for 4 days now and im very dissipointed. the game play isint all that bad, but the levels are horrible. it almost dosent even make you want to paly it. I think that the guys at neversoft need to come up with some new original concepts and hopefully improve. When it comes down to it i guess its worth buying (or at least burning, cause i would never pay full price) cause you will have fun playing it. The games controls and feel are basically the same as tony hawk 2. the levels are very un realistic, and totaly un original. the sound track is pretty good, including music by afi, new music by alien ant farm (not that dumb smooth criminal song), the ramones and more theres only like 1 songs on the wole sound track that really sucks. the graphics have also improved, alot more clear and defined than before. the only part of the game that i think has crap grapics is tokyo, what the hell happened there? oh well its a pretty good game over all but its no tony hawk 2. so go out and get it. its well worth your time and effort!

THPS3 is the same thing as THPS2, only a lot crappier. The graphics are so choppy, and the levels are SO much smaller! I am disappointed that I actually spent the money for it. On PS2, this is one of the better games I've played, but unfortunately I only have PS1. My advice is to buy the game on PS2, because if you get it on PS1, you'll only be getting THPS2 with reverts and new levels.

well first off i expected them to at least put one new girl in but they didn't. its no biggie but overall the game wasnt any different the levels are ok but nuthin special and the new tricks are cool but the main reason i gave it a 5 was because the only real reason i bought this game was because i thought that the park editor was gonna be different and it was exactly the same sure u can have cathedral and s-mart but that doesnt matter to me so overall the game was alright.

Awesome, THPS 3 is da bomb Bam Magera is a ledgend its got an awesome sound track its the best game (THPS 2) made better. The levels are fun and career mode is more challenging. There is a couple of problems create a skater and park editor is nearly exactly the same as THPS 2. definetly a game to buy.

i have been playing this game for about 3 weeks now and i think that this is the best playstation game I have ever played.I have only 1 thing I haven't been able to do and that is - Nosegrind over the tree - in the Canada level if any one knows how to do it please send me an e-mail.i think the graphics,sound and gameplay are very good.the gameplay is very good because the tricks are very easy to do .As far for the music goes i wonder were do they take this sh**t. there are only like 2 good songs.for the people who says that this game needs cheats ,this game is too good to go mess it up with cheats.cheats make this game way too easy.and for the people who say that this game is too hard i think you need a little practice.

Hey I played this game and it's so addictive. I 'mastered' it. the levels may be unreal but hey, they're still creative, and comfortable. If you can't a better park, just make a dump instead, and grind on the broken alluminum ledges! The game is for fun, not for inconvenience. You guys give it a bad opinion, eh? We'll give your stupid net games a negative infinite! THPS 3 is the best of all three games!I agree with all these THPS 3 pros! thye game is much more fun, and the levels may be weird but very nice and creative. So Neversoft deserves luxurious comment for them working hard and making such an entertaining game.
