THIS GAME ROCKS! | | Ron Jon from Surf Shop says (2/Nov/2001): | I played every football game ever and this is the best.For a second i was wondering if i was watching tv or just playing a video game.It is VERY easy to control.It has the BEST graphics ever because it looks better than real(well almost)!The season is so fun you will play untill the very end.It also has cool songs i liked the enterance song "We wit the john madden...2002' great beat.But whats the best is that it has every player and every team.Their may not be a better football game than this ever!

As far as the graphics go, nothing can compare at this point. The attention to detail is amazing, although there is still room for improvement. The sound is also incredible, although I wish the crowd noise was more interactive. It is fun to hear them saying "Go [enter the home team here]!" If possible they should make it more responsive to game play. Moving on to the gameplay, it is really good. Players are responsive to the controllers. I especially enjoy the Franchise mode, going from season to season, signing and resigning, watching your salary cap, etc. I wish all sports games would include that level of realism. Lifespan: As long as I have a Playstation, and don't upgrade to XBox. However, when I do upgrade this will be one of my first purchases. Fun Factor: 10 out of 10! Originality: Well, it's football, it can't get too original. If you love football, and love to play it as a video game, this is a must have!
