this game isn't too shabby, not the best if you like the playstation 2 games are used to the high graffics. the graphics are regular playstation X/1 like. you get to create your own player , trade them, and create dunks which i personally think is a very good idea although i don't know how to do the dunks that i have made so....... it is a newer game (2002) and it does have up to date players. shooting wize is good. sorta hard to pull fancy stuff off. if you like the original b-ball games on psone then this will be a good game to have in your colection. on the other hand if you are into the new hardcore sortof fancy shoey off type stuff i would recomend getting a Playstation 2 (sweett) and investing in games like NBA Street,

NBA ShootOut 2002 is great. You get to do all the exciting old and new SLAMDUNKS that are cool. You get to see all your favorite NBA Superstars. I don't like the fact that the faces are not improving I mean come on, It's 2002, The least u guys can do is improve the faces and how they look that is why I give it a 5. I hope everyone else agrees. That's why I'm moving to XBOX.

NBA shootout is a very badly made game.Ther is only 3 modes of play and the create a dunk is stupid.I like the way that the Dallas Mavericks new jerseys are on the game but i dislike that they dont have Michael Jordan on the wizards.You cant even unlock him.NBA LIve 2001 is even better because there is a NBA live challenge thing where you play and unlock certain things.NBA Shootout 2002 is so bad that i wouls rather pick my nose for an hour than play the game in conclusion i dont think anyone should play this game because it gets old after about 5 minutes. Another thging is they make everyone equal and the defense stinks bewacause they made the Bulls players able to dunk like everytime they gate the ball. that is not right .I have hocked up loogies better than this game. I think this game is incredibly dull.
