Surely the best rpg ever. This game is much better than it's previous ones. With four discs for £19.99, it's cheap and it will last you for ages. The storyline is excellent, the sound is tedious but who cares. Guaranteed to bring a mixture of emotions to the player. And the cut scenes... you have to see for yourself.

This game beats all other games i have ever played. My first ever RPG was Final Fantays 7 and it, im not into the little muchkins and monsters scene but this game is awsome, best ever graphics, chalenging and engrossing gameplay and a superb story with great soundtrack too, a must have game that has pride on my desktop

Awesome graphics, dramatic and entertaining story lines, challenging bosses.... and the Lionheart; the ultimate weapon, Capable of taking away over 100,000 hit points in one attack. Final Fantasy 8 is the ultimate RPG! FF8 has a complete story line and great battling music. When you beat the end of the game, it has an ending you would never believe. The only way to see the ending is to play the game yourself. Try it, you'll like it.

this is the best game of all time its true the bosses are solid the GF attacks are amazing and the story line is amazing am not being posh or anything but the music is quite good is well if you don't have this game in your collection get it know i promise you that you will fall in love with the game

Ahh, the long awaited Final Fantasy 8... Where to begin? What should i tell you first? I mean should i start with the Seemlessly intergrated movie scenes? The deep and involving story of a lone wolf going from a selfish child to a leader of a military orginazation infront of your eyes? How about the lush, and i mean lush details of the characters, backgrounds, magic, and special attacks. Although many players may become annoyed with the draw system, others take this new approach positivly. I myself was most amazed with the number of GFs and the difficulty to defeat some of them making the game that much more challenging. For those who dont already own this game.... Unless your still playing Final Fantasy 7.... what are you wasting your time with?

I Love this game,It's one of the best RPG's out there
The cinimatics are very Cool the grapics are awesome,the music and the attention to detail is amazing,Although I am on the 3rd disc I just can not put this game down,The gameplay is awsome the characters are awesome,So put Final Fantasy 8 on your top ten list cause you'll need 9 more.

This adds a great realism to the final fantasys installments while it didn't draw me in like 7 did there were many aspects I loved. the money and battle systems were inovative and exciting. maybe not all RPG fans will like this title but every final fantasy fan will. while it has the greatest FMV/CG cutsenes I've seen it didn't fall short to thrall me with it's great gameplay.
I highly reccomend this title to the hardcore rpg gamer and it should hold you down tell final fantasy 9 comes out withch i'm sure will be great as well!
