FF VIII is the best game in the history of the universe! For those of you who disliked the game, r u sure you are mentally healthy? I really feel that a ten star rating for this game is far too low. I give it an infiniti star rating! I got soooo attached to each and every character in this game. Especially Squall(sigh...I wish there were real guys who looked like him)can U say HOT! In fact, I almost feel like I know them personally. That is what I find most attractive in this RPG.The story is also beautiful. Words cannot comprehend it! The romance in the story is very touching too. I am a hardcore addict to this game and am so happy to have found this site! In fact, I am inspired to start the game over tonight. To all those who have quit playing FF VIII due to being discouraged, try again! There are some tough places, but it does get better I promise you. I got so discouraged once I quit playing for five months and nearly threw the game away. I experienced a rush of emotion the first time I beat the game. I cried for a few minutes because I was so sad it was over. Then hopped up and shouted,"Booyaka! In your face FF club! I told you I could beat this game!!!". I was positvely glowing for weeks after. Any game that can make someone feel that way has to be phenominal! If I could, I would buy everyone a Playstation and FF VIII so that they to, could enter the wonderful and enchanting world of FINAL FANTASY EIGHT!

Seriously, this is an awesome game. Yeah, Squall was a harsh fag sometimes and Rinoa could be a b*tch, but I really liked it. And, you gotta admit, Seifer was the coolest. I've raraly seen such an enemy. He made a few mistakes of being an idiot, though, but I personally like him. Squall was a pretty good character. I really dislike the orphanage scene. What was that, blaming their memory loss on the GFs? That was really the only gay part. The graphics were wonderful! I loved the animation. The movies were the best. I really think that it's worth it to play the game to see the ending clip. I loved this game.

People who critisise this game have truly never tried it. An incredibly touching story which symultaneously draws our sympathy and anger, whilst never failing to challenge your gameplaying skills to the limit and make your palms sweat as battles rage and magic flies. Although the Final Fantasy series are arguably the best rpg series in the world, this game leaves the others miles behind with the best battle system and mini-games to excite the imagination as much as the storyline. The amazing FMV sequences leave the player breathless, and the emotional ending will satisfy even the most demanding gamers.

I mean Squall is the coolest character of all time he rocks. And selphie is hot! It has the smoothest storyline ina game i've ever played in a game before. Ok this is the best game i have ever played.This line has been used a couple of times,but the thing is that,I agree with the line!the thing that i like about the game is the juntion system.No other ff game has it and thats what makes this game a good game.Theres so many juntion funtion and the gfs rule as well.My favourite gf is bahumat just because it deals enough damage to kill an enemy.And plus this final fantasy is the longest.I only have one friend who has it and he gives a good rating of 9.99%.Some of my otherfriends have different ffs than me and they said they rented it and said it was the best.ok now where was i oh yeah the strongest caracter is obviosely Sqall and his weapon is a gunblade.Anywaays i still havent finished the game.Im up to Ultimecia castle and im just traning.thats it.thats my reveiw of the game.FF8 ABSOLOUTLY RULES.if you like this ff try:

I'll say its a good game. First time I played it, its very confusing. Its not the best I've heard. Yes , I think you should get outta there and get FF7. The game is easier to understand. While FF8 is kinda different.GF's instead of summon ,the draw thingy . Its very easy to miss things, first time i played it, i missed the useless Siren. The characters are not bad, i think they should have more futuristic weapons(like the gunblade). I 'll say get other FF first before giving full marks for this odd RPG. Ps . I luv u Rinoa ...

I have been a gamer all my life. Since the dawn of the Family computers that eventually paved the way for Nintendo, Sega, Saturn, SuperNes, and of course the Playstation. The Final Fantasy series has always been my favorite. Even the classic graphics of the Anthology series (rehashed in PS) are great games in their own right. What grabs my attention is actually the story behind all the fast paced action.It has romance, deception, action, comic-reliefs and even some suspense here and there. Final Fantasy VIII for me is the second best final fantasy game (second to FFX of the PS2). The characters are great (esp. Rinoa) and the weapons are strong. The sidequests are also fun. I confess, I am a Final Fantasy addict. So whats wrong with that???

hey, know joke. it is the best game.And i just love beating up that stupid bitch Ultimecia and her stupid GF Griever.I think the songs are the best thing in there and the battles r soooooo good. The pictures is good well i mean not BAD, n the story, it could be annoying sometimes but i still love it.But know i'm still trying to beat that $#< remove me > at !'n Omega Weapon.(but i've defeated Ultima Weapon tho).n sometimes it could be funny in some parts ya know. i've red n looked at the other ff's and their just not as good as ff8

Piss off if you think this game sucks. I don't giva $#< remove me > at ! if you thinks it's point A-B-C garbage. It was really great! I didn't even mind playing it again after my little bro erased the mem card (die scum...). It was awsome, tho Rinoa should have gotten over Seifer quicker because that was so boring and I mean you want to move them together and they just come up with som smart-ass remark you hlaf saw coming. I mean they really should say what you want them too... Grrrrrrr.........

Without doubt one of the if not the best game on playstation. The cinema scenes are exceptional and I once spent a whole night playing without sleep because it is so addictive. On platinum its worth more than gold and anyone who wont buy it for twenty quid is nuts. The time I played on it is the 100 most enjoyale hours of my life. One of the greats.

ff8 was the first rpg I ever played and I stil think its the best. Sofar I've played ff8, ff9 and ff10 and I stil think that 8 is the best because it just has the best story ever. I want to play al the other final fantesy's in hope to find whan that kan metch final fantasy 8. the best of this game is that you have a totaly diferent magic system then all the other final fantesy's I've ever played. I realy love it that you kan battle somme GF.

This game was the best game I ever played and the best story I have enjoyed to look at. The ending was very sad and the best ending I ever seen out of any other Final Fantasy's games. To me the game seem like a real story like the romance between Yuna and Tidus it was wonderful! To the people that made this game I want to tell you that Final Fantasy X was the best and I hope you will make game more like it and more real (I love your games!)

This is by far the worst final fantasy. it stroyline is too slow and it has none of the orignal elements like the previous ones. the characters are too large and normal looking (the smaller ones are better for final fantasy like ff9) and it is too futuristic. the weapons are just plain dumb i mean a gun blade? what the hell! if your that far in the future just use a fricking gun forget the blade! i guess 1 is a little underatting it compared to other rpgs but im comparing it to other final fantasys. dont buy it buy ff9 for good storyline and more final fantasy not space age sci-fi crap.

This game is probably one of the best RPG's i've ever played. It puts even Resident Evil to shame (and for me to say that is almost sacriligous). This game has the best of each type of Final Fantasy. I really liked the way u stock spells instead of MP (mp is really stupid. i hate havin to waste item slots on MP recovery items). The GF's were a nice touch. The only problem with them was the boost's little X thing that stopped u from boosting. that should not of been in there. and the Chocobos!!!!! what the heck is up with the pocketstation for american version and then make us wait for it to come out. I need to get one so i can get mog and new chicobo abilities. And the card game was a little tough to understand but it's worth it to get the cards then refine them. A word to all those who think that the card game is a waste of time. U NEED TO PLAY IT TO GET LAGUANA'S CARD AND REFINE IT INTO 100 HEROS!!!! The only thing i have to say about this game as a closin statement is that this would be a great game for those who want a challenge. The last boss is nearly impossible to beat (except when u have hero-war) and is a little easier with gameshark. I'm on my 7th time playing it. Gameshark is not recommended for those who want to have fun. gameshark ruins it completely with some codes. Especially when u use the all characters LV 100 zell is down to LV 1. Well TTFN. Ta Ta For Now!!!

I'm in the middle of my third time playing this great RPG. What's nice about this game is that there are many characters that are unique and attractive. (Quistis rock on!!) I do admit that I would be lost without the guide. I know everyone has different tastes but having characters that LOOK like people is a great idea! I've played FF7, 9 and 10; they're also okay, but not as good as FF8. The music is good, and the draw system, I think, is simple and easy to understand. It is very time consuming, but it is very rewarding when you beat the game. The movies are beatiful and I love how each character has their own 'entrance movie'. The Laguna, Kiros and Ward sub plot was confusing, and a little boring, but it all made sense in the end. This is truly a great game, and I recommend it to anyone who has a lot of time available to play these RPGs and is willing to enter the beautiful world of FF8.

This game was one of the worst games i have played. The graphics were good but the game was bad. Final Fantasy VII i think was so much better because the creators didn't put as much effort into the graphics as they did with the story and thats what made FF7 a huge hit, unlike this lame game. If you have not yet played this game do not waste your money even renting it. Go out and get FF7 instead.

I'm back again!!! Just gotta say dat this game makes you think. I mean really think. the you draw magic you have to be careful on choosing it coz theres not alot of space 4 all the magic. I have too admit, this gme is extremely hard and it uses up too much of my time compared to the other final fantasies. But just 2 get through the game and perfect it......its all worth while. Gotta say that rinoa is the best character for me coz dats me!! hehehehehehe.....4 those who hate the game, i respect you. there were times i was so fed up with the game but i still love it. you just need patience. "whatever." Great game. I just love it.
