There are traps in the terrain that you can either use to your advantage or to be caught in yourself. Cautiousness is needed, strategy is a must and will-power is necessary. While playing, you will occassionally feel the thrill of being able to succeed or not. I give this game a good score even if the story isn't too great and the graphics are poor. It's not a very long game and the enemies are quite stupid since they don't pay good attention to the places you set your traps. Artificial intelligence could easily improve this game, for the enemies, I mean. Good thing that once you realize what the enemies can do to you and sometimes even for you. One thing though, I don't really get the direct concept of those freakish, freaky, freak healing crystals. They only get used once and there are only a few of them in each level. That's a bit (un)fair, but, that's ok! The game's a bit too easy once you get used to all the important controls. There really is only one basic goal in the game, kill those who you don't like in any way, and keep those who you have to (even if you don't like them either) alive. Some people may think this game sucks but it really is a "just fine" game. Try it if you want to but ask for other opinions first. Please don't take my word for it when I say "this is a nice game". Millenia, (the girl who you play as,) could look a little better (graphically speaking, I mean.) I'm just saying that the game should have a bit/lot better graphics. TECMO, please do better next time. Thank you very, very much.

| | Pete Smyth from Co.Derry, Northern Ireland says (7/May/2001): | I thought Kagero Deception 2 was an enjoyable game. You play as Mileena whos duty is to kill anyone who breaks into her castle. Ok so the storyline is pretty crappy, just like the graphics. The graphics are poor when compared to games like Metal Gear and Final Fantasy. The controls are also annoying at frist but you do get used to them. The AI in the game however is terrible. The enemies are thick and look like they love getting killed because they just walk into your traps over and over again. It is also a short game and you will probably finish it in a day. It is enjoyable though if you look past all the horrible problems.
