awesome and amazing | | kearnage from queensland, australia says (4/Feb/2003): | a totally incredible game, as a boxer, this is one of the bests boxing games i have ever played, realistic, and just plain fun to play, all of my favourite fighters, marciano, dempsy, lewis, holyfield, and of course the greatest of all time, muhammad ali. the one thing that would make this game better would be the inclusion of my hero, mike tyson. an all round great game, a definate must play.
| Fair enough, but what is it with that? | | the tik from Melbourne, Australia says (26/Sep/2001): | If one game was able to bring boxing to the forefront of entertainment is was this one, but alas all it was able to do was show me how boring boxing can be. If i wanted to slowly miande around a ring and throw blocked jab after blocked jab i could have purchased Prince Naseem boxing, fairg enough the graphics are inpressive and the fighter dynamics are second to none, but this would have to be one of the most bordem invoking game i have played since Mah Jong. Ready 2 Rumble is a fine example of entertaining boxing. Even Knockout Kings '99 has a higher playablility rate. All this game needs to push it over the line is a speedier engine and a little less blockin on behalf of the computer. If you want a good boxing game get Ready 2 Rumble or Ready 2 Rumble 2. But if you are a die hard fan of boxing and enjoy the 'physics' of boxing it would be a welcome addition to your gaming library.
