From the megaman 10th anniversery capcom has launch the first megamanx4 game for the pc,saturn and playstation. This game has some x-treme graphics and x-plosive gameplay. There are new additions added to this game, such as you can play between x and zero, new vehicle added the land chaser, new move like z-saber tactic and the air hover, and also a dramatic plot. Be sure to play this game before megaman x5 release in november 2000.

Mega Man X4 |
| William from San Francisco ,C.A., U.S.A says (22/Oct/2000): |
Mega Man and Zero are trying to stop the "REPLOFORCE" from destroy the "MAVERICK" reime. Unlike "Mega Man X3" you can pick either Mega Man X or Zero. The best person to pick is Mega Man X because Zero is a pain in the butt because you have to study the moves that you get from the Bosses and they have wird names. If you put in the code to get "Dark Mega Man" it makes it easy to win the whole game. But, Zero dosen't get any armor and he dosen't get to use his blaster.

Keep This Series Going Capcom!!! |
| Matt from tallmadge,ohio,usa says (30/Jul/2002): |
First thing's first, Zero rules. This game is quite possibly the best Megaman game ever created. With great graphics(for a side-scroller)and very enjoyable music, how could you get sick of it?! This game has great power-ups for both character's weapons, two thumbs up to the creator of Zero's beam-saber and power-ups. The voices of most of the characters are cool, but some can get annoying after awhile. I rate the replay value of this game moderately high, it is hard for alot of people to get sick of a game like this. The levels are fun and the bosses are even better, this makes the gameplay break the meter. This game would definetly be classified as an original. Also, the new power-ups from the capsules for X are even better than before(especially the power tackle one). With X and Zero going their seperate ways, this game is almost like a two-in-one, especially with two different storylines. I would be very mad at Capcom if they stopped this series, I am happy that X7 is coming out in Japan(that means it should be here soon). With a rating of ten from almost everyone than this game should be considered a classic in no time!

Possibly the best X game |
| A gamer from Hamilton, NJ, USA says (3/Dec/2000): |
From the word of a big Mega Man fan, either this one or X3 is the best. Players have the choice of playing as either X or Zero for the whole game, so it's like two games in one. It has the best graphics, good sound effects and music, and it's the most futuristic. Many of the levels have a distinct type of environment, making the atmosphere for each level unique. The weapons are awesome, and X's plasma gun can obliterate just about anything. It is the best gun power-up in all four X games. I gave it a 9 for only a few minor things: one, I think the story is lame, two, I think some of the voices (but not all) are annoying, three, it sort of fizzles out after the first eight levels. The later levels are WAY too short, and before you know it, you're at Sigma. The last is that the play control isn't as good as it was in the Super NES games, mainly concerning dash-jumping and wall-jumping. However, despite these few things, it is still a really fun game. I can play it two or three times a day and still not get bored with it. For any Mega Man fan, I recommend this game with honor and pride.

X and Zero: the greatest Maverick Hunters |
| Charles Foytek from Richardson, USA says (2/Feb/2001): |
I liked being able to, finally, play as either X or Zero. This feature made the replay value a lot higher than with the previous games in the X series. The graphics are great and the sound and music were the best I've ever heard in any Mega Man game. The only things that didn't work for me were the control, doing a dash-jump became a real task, and Mega Man's voice. I prefered Zero over X because, in my opinion, playing as Zero a lot more challenging than playing as X. If you haven't played this game yet, I suggest you do before the release of Mega Man X5. I hear it's going to be even better.

GREAT but could of been BETTER |
| Lauren from pensacola fl usa says (13/Aug/2003): |
ok first of all MMx4 is awsome, i found my self playing it over and over, even after ive mastered the game. Its one of those games where its late and all you want to do is have a little action. k... now being X is awsome, but its so easy, and there is not as great a story line as there is for Zero. The game more or less is really Zeros game X is just kind of there as a playable character, he has a really bad if any story line!!!

Get that ratings right, Megaman! |
| Ragnarok_WolfRaider from Earth's Orbit says (27/Feb/2002): |
I've been playing Megaman (or Rockman) ever since the Power Battle series in the CPS platform (Y'know, when Megaman was still cute and fired four-pixel-wide X-buster?). I witnessed the events from the days of Dr. Wily to the days of Sigma. Well, now at least in X4, X and Zero has new figures! Better graphics, better action, same old hard battles. Although I've played X6 now, X4 still have its throne as the milestone to new Megaman looks. 10's up X4!

An Endless Tale of Hate and Death |
| Golden Phoenix Zero from Oxford, Massachusetts, USA says (11/Jan/2001): |
From the scene with Sigma talking talking to General, to Double's Transformation; From Zero and Colonel, to Iris' tragic Death... this game amazed me.
The anime scenes were great. The voice acting was wonderful (especially Sigma's and Zero's), and the story line seemed great. X and Zero will, for once, go their separate ways; only to end up at the bald guy's lair.
Playing as X is totally easy. (Especially when you get his Ultimate Armor) But with Zero, things tend to tense up. Whether he's in red armor or black, he's attacks are basicly the same. Does this mean he's not a good character to play as? ... No.
With this exciting game, we know more about Zero's past. Who he was created by, what he was in the past, and the way Sigma and he actually seemed to have met in the past as well. X's story has bit of spaz in it; him befriending a spy for the Mavericks and all. (Funny how everybody calls him niave...)
So, no matter which character you play as, the game is still fun; with awesome music and hard bosses. Good luck, fellow X-fans.

X and Zero saving the world again, in their best game ever |
| Brandon from San Diego says (12/Aug/2001): |
This game is AWSOME. I've played through this game at least 20 times. If you like Megaman you will love this game. with two story lines, X's and Zero's, this game is easily one of Capcom's best game ever. Awsome anime-style cut scenes, great special weapons, and a nice set-up of bad guys this game rocks. If you have a Playstation you need this game.

X and Zero in the biggest battle of all time |
| A gamer from Kentucky, USA says (9/Sep/2001): |
Out of all the X games, this definately is the best. It has a great storyline, you can actually choose from X or Zero, there are a lot of new power-ups and other things. X is easier than Zero because Zero can't use a buster. The storyline is really good. Plus there is an endless amount of surprises. A must play game, it's really good for all fans.
