Dragon Master - How to get good dragons early on | | ElkiLiger from Q, Australia says (5/Feb/2005): | 8/10 - not really like the anime. And really difficult, too.
I have found that dragons are the most powerful duel monsters. But some are really hard to get. However, with the right cards, you can get them early in the game.
My favourite mid game monster is Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon. It has 2800AP and 2100DP. My whole duelling strategy is to get out one or more of these. To do this, you need an electric card. If it's over 2000AP, it doesn't matter about the power of the dragon you fuse it with. If it's not, you need a dragon with 1600AP or more. You may have to fuse one.
I use following cards to power up my THTD. Each increases his attack and defence by 500.
- Dragon Treasure
- Horn of the Unicorn
- Mountain
Dragons are really easy to create - virtually any type of dragon is possible. Avoid pyro, though, that doesn't work. Plant makes B. Dragon Jungle King, there are a whole series of water ones, warriors include Dragon Statue Guard and Sword Arm of Dragon. Zombie Dragon is the zombie one, and Stone D. is from any stone and any dragon no matter how weak, and has 2000AP and 2300DP.

They wanted information on Star Chips,this is what I found and thought I'd share. I'm not sure if it works (so dont be angry if it dont...lol). I got this off WWW.cheatingdome.com : it said Never Use up StarChips..(code #28555)..This trick requires 3 memory cards. Memory cards A & B sould have your main game saved. Memory card C should just be any game with a different name than your normal game. Put memory card B in slot 1 and memory card C in slot 2. Load your game,buy your desirred cards,then save and back out to the main screen. Then go to "trade" and trade all the cards to memory card B. Insert memory card A into slot 1 and trade the cards back from C to A. You have now purchased cards and gotten them for free. Im not too sure if this makes any sense to you (I dont play much). But it was on a site I found. Hope this helps some of you out. Try going to the website and checking it out. It had alot of information in it.

heinshin1:stone d.,blue eyes ultimate dragon(by making him run out of cards and by fighting him too much),mystical sand,megazowler,twin headed thunder dragon,gemini elf,lbyrinth wall,etc
Bandith keith:mystical moon,maybe mystical elf
Pegasus:megamorph(make him run out of cards at least 10times),widespreadruins,crush card,other magic cards
Isis:dragon treasure,beast fangs,etc
Kaiba:bright castle(make him out of cards at least 5times),blue eyes white dragon,some rituals cards
Low Meadow mage:gaia the fierce knight(fighting him 10times,the last fight needs 's' rank, meteor dragon(after 27fights),meteor b. dragon(after 25fights and without bringing C or D ranks and without losing him more than 5 times and remember he might give you on 'A' rank, Skull knight(fighting him 15 times and with 's' rank,crimson sunbird,firewing pegasus(between 10to20 fights),etc
Jono 2nd:red eye white dragon and some of thunder types of cards
High mage kepura:gate guardian
High mage anubisius:perfectly ultimate great moth
High mage atenza:B. skull dragon
High mage martis:lbyrinth wall(maybe)
Sebek:zoa,summoned skull,dragon seeker,uni oshi,etc
Heinshin 2nd:Like heinshin 1st and parts of gate guardian(kzejin,suijin and sangan of the thunder
Seto 3rd:very rare cards and with high attack factor but you must fight him too much
Darknite:good cards but not that good as Seto 3rd and heinshin
Nitemare:all good cards(same like Seto 3rd and heinshin 2nd)

| SETO #2 MYSTERY | | Dreconis from USA says (16/Dec/2004): | The graphics are ok but too boney in a way but it passes. it is fun to play if you get enough good cards to start out with. But what i want to knnow is that how can you unlock Seto #2. there is the first time you fight seto and it is in the past then you fight kiba in the future then seto #3 at the end. you can tell by the missing space in the free duel mode. if you go to the free duel mode you will see in order seto, kiba, a blank space, then seto #3 which is the confusing part because i have tried many methods and theories on how to unlock the mysterious seto #2 but so far no luck. So if there is anyone out there that has the answer to unlocking seto #2 or can find the answer to it just post it on this site. Also a tip on getting some good 1800-2500 attackers in campaign mode is the first time you fight Heinshin, dont lose to him just keep on dueling him until YOU dont feel like dueling him anymore and lose and Since he never gives up, You can literaly keep on going forever. The best way to get the good cards from him though is by defeating him within about 1-3 turns without losing any life points, avoid using any spell and traps(except equips), and by not having a single of your monsters destroyed or discarded from the field. the best starting move is by setting the highest attacker in your hand facedown in attack mode but it better be a sun alignment if you dont want to take any risks And if possible before you put the monster down equip him with as many power ups as possible. if your lucky Hienshin will attack your face down, attack postion, powered up, monster and hopfully your monster will stay and his monster will be destroyed AND he will be WIDE OPEN FOR A DIRECT ATTACK! Then you place down the most powerfull monster and power him up if possible and attak him with oth of your monsters and it will mostl likely be game for him. then you will get hopefully a good card since you beat him quickly and wiht out losing any life points. This is also a very good way for those of you out there to get the gate gaurdian pieces and some others suck as: Machine king, Mystical sand, millenium golem, Red-Eyes Black Dragon(if you are realy lucky), and a few more. If you want to get even rarer cards such as the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon or Metor Black Dragon or Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth then Duel NightMare and beat him as fast as you can but without using any spells and traps(Equips are ok), and losing any life points and dont let your monsters be destoryed or discard them from your field. I know it is very damn hard but it is possible because i have already won NOT BOUGHT the maximum of evey card this way (of course by also dueling every other player)(Spells and traps are with tech though)including the exodia cards.
P.S. You can predict every players moves and what cards they have played facedown if you use the opening technique said above and by paying attention to what alignment the monster is. Usually if your monster is the one to draw first blood, then the enemy will begin to use weaker monsters.

Also when you start off, you will get really bad cards that are in the hundreds place.That is really bad unless you make a fuse with the two monsters needed to make it, like CYBER SOLDIER,FLAME SWORDSMAN,Blue EYES, Red Eyes, Meteor Black Dragon, etc. However, some visual graphics can be quite enjoyable. Also, aquiring cards is quick and easy. The game does become more and more enjoyable the more you play it, just don't overdue it, or you will become either bored, or frustrated when you lose a duel.If you win many times then you will think it is easy.But if you stink you will just give up just like that.That was how I Became.Frustrated,bored how I was.The first time I played the game I enjoyed it but then I kept on losing and losing.I gave up.Not only what said it was bad.

The best way to leave them out in the open for your attack is by letting them beat the heck out of you,but have some backup cards like 'Fake Trap' & 'Reikiki'(you know what card I meant). Anyway have one card or if you have 2 or 3 fake traps,put them on the field when you're LPs are closly to zero.(careful though). Then summon some monsters to protect your LPs for few more turns. If you have 'Skull Red Bird' & 'Flameswordsman' in your hand,keep them first just one turn,have mountain as your field. Then allow your opponent to attack you,sure you'll lose your defencsive monsters but that's a price to pay in order to win a duel. Later while your opponent's monsters are out in the field that are higher monsters,quickly use Reikiki to destroy his monsters. Have him summoned few monsters.(your LPs must be very low). As soon he summons if possible one monster quickly combine 'Skull Red Bird' & 'Flameswordsman'.It'll change into 'Crimson Sun Bird'(2300 APs).Since you have mountain as your field,it's attack raises to 2800APs. Once you crush your opponent's defencsive monster,do this routine over as much often.
It's not an offencive pattern to win,but defencive pattern that goes along with offence. Try it out,you'll be thanking of me later.

being called cheat boy means im an expert in all th games i have knowing th cheats its a hard life haha well anyway to those who dont know how to ritual laydown th cards needed then play th ritual card and to those who want good cards u will need 3 ps1 memo cards 1 with ur main game 1 with a no data and 1 a spare file i will do it in th formula 1,2,3 right copy file from memo 1 to memo 2 then trade from memo 2 to memo 3 trade from memo 3 to memo 1 delete th file from memo 2 repeat as much as needed ok then we have th infinite starchips there is no cheat for this but u can get th cards u want again u need 3 memo cards first part is th same as before copy file from memo1 to memo2 then input ur password n trade to memo3 then trade frommemo3 to memo1 and repeat until u have all th cards u want its not th same as infinite starchips and its a pain to get all th starchips u need but stick to it finally to those who say they completed th game most of them are talkin b******t cos i have 3 blue eyes 1 blue eyes ultimate 3 dragon treasure 3 bright castle 3 perfectly ultimate great moth n loads of other powerful cards in my deck n i still got my a$$ kicked if u dont believe me come n visit me ill show ya

Seto offers you a choice; Proceed or decline. Choose Proceed and duel the two Guards. After that is Heishin, Seto, and finally, Dark Knight.(In that order) Beat them an' you'll 'ave completed it. Especially when your already at the point in saving Taena. That time you can no longer save the game. It is so hard because if you don't have that kind of luck you know when at the start of the game you will draw 4 equip cards and one weak card for example the Black Luster soldier with 3000/2500 power. When you receive this and you'll see your opponents using the gate guardian. It is so hard.
Then you are already with nitemare then you will have that situation, its really very hard. But I enjoy it. Actually i've already finished the game...........
At the first time I did not know how to fuse cards but after so many trials, I knew it. There are so many patterns that fusing can give you. For example, if you combine an elf with a fiend that look like a human, or a spell caster you will arrive at the dark elf with 2000/800 power. Exactly inverse of the mystical elf. So if you want to have a monster lie it just use your elf then so on. Then use The Following Upgrades:
muvenlent nuzzler
Book of secret arts
Cyber Shield
Electro Whip
Then yami (the dark terrain)
It will power up your monster to 4500/3300.
Hint never Set your monster to moon Because mostly of the strong monster are set to sun.

I think the first possibility is that peolple that post cheats are mother f#< remove me > at !*&!ers because i"ve tried from Schips from star to seto 3, and they don't work, therer's been people that put passwords for some strange creauter that doesn;t even exist. My second theory is that konami made the copies of the game seperatly so that for some copies cheats don't work and that for some others it did work.f< remove me > at #*^%! konami if that's it. well that's my theorie. over all the graphics are horrible the music sucks but what really captured me was the game play.

petit dragon + skull servant = dragon zombie,
dragon zombie + any kind of electric monster = twin headed thunder dragon,
harpies pet dragon + tyhone number two = black skull dragon,
red eyes black dragon + meteor dragon = meteor B. dragon,
three blue eyes white dragon + ultimate dragon ritual = blue eyes ultimate dragon,
metal monsters + zoa = metal zoa,
dragon zombie + any kind of dragon = curse of the dragon,
time wizard + any kind of dragon = thousand dragon,
if you want your dragons to get stronger, you must have dragon treasures.
if you want to get zera the mant, you must have zera ritual.
if you want to make your metal zoa stronger, you must have machine conversion factory and if you want your fiend and spell caster monsters, equiped them with a dark energy card.
to make gate guardian, you must first have sanga the thunder + kazejin + suijin + gate guardian ritual. and to make your gate guardian stronger, equipped it with a sword of destruction.
You must have crush card to crush your opponent's monster cards and raigeki.
to make your millenium shield stronger, equipped it with a legendary sword.
be sure that you must have many trap cards so that you can easily beat your opponent.
it is much better that you will have magic cards such as mountain because it will make your winged beasts, dragons and thunder monsters stronger. yami for your dark monsters, umi for your water and thunder monsters, sogen for your warriors.
