This wrestling game is very boring and not worthwhile. | | A gamer from Austin Texas says (5/Nov/2001): | Even though this was one of the first wrestling games to come out for the playstation its not good, Mainly because it is short of game options, another big failure was the graphics and music too.The wrestlers are very blocky and you cant tell them apart they practically look all the same,Another example of this games failure was the controls and response time, this is one of the slowest wrestling games for the playstation. You had to press the X button a bunch of times to basically punch the opponent just once also it doesnt have tag matches or your simple hardcore fights either just single matches. But you can unlock wrestlers throughout the career mode ,butits not like you would play this game for so long after 10 to 15 minutes I guarantee it will bore you, which causes you to return it to the store for a better wrestling game and also the wrestlers dont have voices so thats bad to , I found All Japan Womens Pro Wrestling to be better than this one.
| Pretty good, yet dull | | Rich from Riverside RI USA says (22/Aug/2003): | I found this wrestling game to be fun, but the action level is low and it isn't much of a challenge. You can beat it the first time you play it, and some of the wrestlers look kind of silly. The lack of match options and good hidden wrestlers hurts the game mortally. If it had hardcore matches and other options, I would give it ten stars. But the glaring flaws give me no choice. I give it five stars for the imaginary wrestlers and the graphics. It would have been great If they worked on it
a bit longer. I feel it needs more wrestlers and different arenas to unlock. Buy this game if you are a wrestling fan and don't mind the slow paced action. Also, proforming big moves from the ring post can be difficult. That also slows the pace down considerably.
