Well my dog thought it tasted good,so she ate it.Ridge Racer is so freeking awesome and it was one of the first playstation games and i still play it(i got a new one,and i dont let me dog near it).The cars go fast and the sound is great but kind of messed up and the graphics are medicore but its soooooooooooooooooooo fun you wont want to turn it off.

Revolutionary for the wrong reasons |

If you look over the history of computer games and look out for revolutionary games in their own time, then this game might creep up. However, not for the fact that it was a fantastic game with playability galore, but for the fact that it was the first ever playstation game, and it was the best driver game (apart from wipeout) around that time. It probably paved the way for the playstation to rule the 32-bit world. However, by todays standards, then you would have thought that they rushed this game to get something out on the market. You get a limited choice of car, and the same boring track, only made a little bit harder by blocking some parts of the circuit to make it longer. Because of this, I think that it would have been better off staying on the arcade.

This was one of the first games I had. I had so much fun playing it. Race, and race, and Race. The graphics at the time were awesome. The selection was quite limited though. Gotta save that memory for something I guess. Its now a classic game... to all those out there, but it cheap and replay those old memories.
