An alright game, but Rage racer was better. |

This game is pretty good, but, unlike Rage racer you can't buy the cars yourself which was one of the best things on Rage racer & if it had still been like that on Ridge racer type 4 it would have been a lot better. Also when you try to get the supercars, it's too easy to get them on easy, & impossible on expert. Ridge racer type 5 (when it comes out) has to be an improvement on this or it just won't do well at all.

This is one of the best (if not the best) racers of all time on playstation. It is fun and easy to enjoy for everyone. |

It may take I while to learn the controls and figure out the game, but after that it's a great and fun arcade game. I favor RR4 over Gran Turismo 1 &2 since it's easy to play and you don't have to worry about fixing your car or buying new parts plus it is much easier to control the cars. RR4 is just pure arcade fun at it's best and you don't have to keep putting coins in. The environments look really good along with the cars and the graphics are superb. RR4 is a must buy for any arcade racing fan.

i think is r4 is good game,because it is amazing graphics,environmental places grand prix is a good play at r4 and versus battle is a player 2 up to 3-4 players in a game extra trial is a challenge,it is difficult game to beat the enemy, you get a squalo 206mph, or teriffic 196mph, in grand prix, i think it is flying or not.
