I have been playing games ever since i was i kid and now when I look back, 13 years that i spent playing all types of games on all the various platforms seriously, there is not even a single game which literally defies the state-of-the art of playing games. It has set new standards in gaming and teh futuristic games to be released in the future like the much anticipated game "Majestic" seems to be a modified version of this game in which the person/gamer is actually involved in real life,etc.,.. The Sum Of "The X Files" is "666" just like "Fox" Network..!!!!!!!!
This particular game, i have played at least 8 times and i have still not got bored playing it. Every time I play this game, I find something new and interesting as it gives you a feel of being an F.B.I. agent probing into the paranormal world, explring the matrix of the truths to be uncovered, the hidden truths, conspiracies, aliens existence which the Government has been covering up ever since the the famous controversial Roswell crash dating back to the '50's. The tecnological advancements like the evolution of the Concorde plane which breaks up the sound barrier, etc.,.. As far as i am concerned, I am also a researcher in the UFOLOGY and a member of the S.E.T.I. too, I definitely believe in the existence of the E.T.. So far, believe it or not, I have actually seen some real paranormal activities in my life and that's why i think that what if the truth be known??.. The special agent Fox Mulder was actually named after a famous millionaire tycoon who left his business just to pursue the unexplained mysteries of the U.F.O's, E.T. existence, etc.,..
To sum it all up, The game kicks ass and there are lots of hidden meanings throughout the game only if you can read between the lines. I don't want to sound "Spooky" but still please do play this game to believe IT.. I believe bacause i want too as i believe that there's a reason for everything. I'm sure that after you have played this masterpiece, you'll find out that there's more than meets the eye.. This is anyday a collector's item and the gameplay is excellent yet incredibly cool as IT also contains the A.I. factor though it is an a four CD format, the sounds are real creepy and eerie, the actors participating in the game makes IT even more interesting game to be played, and IT is one of those rare games which defines what a real Game is all about. I hope that you'll enjoy this game more just like i did and I'll rate this game 10++ anyday.. It surely has set new standards in the Gaming and since the best way to "Fight & invent The Future" is to invent IT, so all that i can say is that the original is original and that's tha bottomline. Enjoy yourself and "oo" Thanx to Ophir Prusak for giving me a chance to Xpress myself to all the hardcore X-Philes around the world. This review is dedicated to the ganius of Mr. Chris Carter and all the staff too who did an incredible hard job on this game. The game is perfect and is definitely the best game that I have ever played so far. The sound is "Spooky", graphics are great, movie sequences are excellent and the best part is that you actually feel that you are an F.B.I. agent. The gameplay is extraordinary and that's what makes the game really unique. What more can anyone ask for?? Even the actors themselves have actually played role in game and it makes you crave for the game even more. If you are a real die-hard X-Phile, then this is the game for you. Believe me guys, It's worth every single penny that you'll spend as it is a collector's item too. IT also Means that tahe word "The X-Files" & "Fox" Mean "666"..!!!!!!!! I pesonally have been played this game 8 times and I'm still not bored as every time I play this game, I find something new. I spent 13 years of my life playing games and no game touches this one. Though Govermnent denies knowledge & it's existence but I personally don't as I believe 'cause I want 2. The Truth is Out There & in Here. The CSM, Walter Skinner, Mr.X featured in the game makes IT even more interesting to play. This review is dedicated to all the true X-Philes around the world and to sum it all, I would say that "{TRUSTNO1}" , i.e., multiple meanings to IT and IT also goes for the game too. I believe that there's a reason for everything. All I know is that "HIStory" has been created & hats off to Mr. Chris Carter. I hope that you all will enjoy this game as much as I did. I actually played this game 8 times and i still feel like playing it until the 2nd part of it is released(obviously). I actually felt being absorbed in this game literally and virtually, and it was like some kind of a paranormal experience man, believe me!!
Anyway, as far as my theory regarding the truth or one of its interpretation is as follows:- "The X-fILES" , in this word, seperate each word and add it numerically,i.e., take the word "The"- "T" is the 20th alphabet, "h" is the 8th, and "e" is the 5th alphabet.Now add them,i.e., 20+8+5=33i.e., 3+3=6. Now similarily "X" is the 24th alphabet in number,i.e., 2+4=6. Take the word "Files", "F" is 6th,"i" is 9th,"l" is 12th, "e" is 5th,and "s" is 19th, i.e., 6+9+12+5+19=51 i.., 5+1=6. NOW put them together and what u get is the "satanic" or the "Iron Maiden's" number of the beast as according to the bibilical revelation, i.e., "666". Hmmmmmm, am i spooky or is it by co-incidence or is it the TRUTH. Give it a thought guys as this happens to be just one of my many, many interpretations, but i don't want to bore u with my own psychic theories. Anyway the bottomline is that i really love this game & it definitely will be my favourite game till the end of time. Believe me guys, and i know that u will too want to belive it too when u play this game 'cause i believe that there is a reason for everythig!!
"The X-files" rulzz and i personally think that Mr. Chris Carter is a genius and the whole staff has really worked really hard guys. It took a few days to understand what everything ment and how to work. This game is not a shoot 'em up game, which is what I initially thought. This game is though, very original. Each move you make triggers different responses and different action sequences. Your "job" is to help find Special Agents Mulder and Scully. You find out what they were working on and how to help save them and the world. For all those who like inquisitive games, or for those looking for a challenge then this is the game for you. All x-philes will like this game, it includes some of the main characters including, Skinner, Mulder, Scully, and even CSM if you play your cards right.
| The xfilies will love this! | | A gamer from Australia says (3/Jan/2001): | If youre an xfiles critic you'll like this i liked it tops it was real cool what i liked about it is that you get to move and investigate stuff you get to ask suspects and civillians questions. What i liked about it was the gameplay i mean i played this for ages without knowing what time it was but it takes a few hours to get to know every thing its pretty basic a thinking game really.
