This game is really awesome, me and my friend swapped games and he happened to give me this one. It is extremely addictive, I stayed up late at night 5 times playing it. Eventually I beat it! I will admit that the game is a little short and easy. However, even when you do conquer the single player campaign you still have the ability to play multiplayer. The graphics do need work, but other than that, the game is smooth and slick. Especially the music, I even recorded some of it onto my CPU to listen to. This game rocks!!! BUY IT NOW!!!

I love this game it's a little hard though. I like the way the defcons are when you destroy an enemy you get more time. I pretty much just use W.O.R.P because their units are so awesome. And they kick NORAD butt! I have not beat it yet though but I know I will! I always have my friends play but they always destroy the wrong buildings HA! I would recommed it to someone looking for a challenge. It's not really like the movie, but the password screen is like the movie.

When I first turned on my Playstation with WarGames in it, I thought it was going to be very boring, with cheap graphics and all. But I decided to just go on, and it turned out to be very addictive. Even though the levels in Co-op and single player are the same, it's a totally different experience each way. What I also like is there aren't many cheats, so it isn't as tempting to use them. Though there could be some more fun things to do in-game. The music isn't bad, it's appropriate for the theme of the game. And the graphics are very good for its time and still until today. As a programmer I recognize how much work was put into it, and I admire it. So I gave it a 9 because it's a fun and addictive game, but a little more fun could be crammed into it.

wargames defcon 1 is a really great game but it is a little too
easy. i like being the W.O.P.R. the most because they have much better firepower than NORAD. in two player adventure mode i get really annoyed when someone doesn't follow orders. i like the graphics a lot and the music is fine but it gets annoying after a few minutes.

My brother and I beat this game in two days...not even a straight play - it was just to easy. After we beat it we played the multiplayer, but I don't think multiplayer is very strong on a Playstation. Graphically, the game looked awsome for it's time but things go up all the time so that's nothing new. My brother still goes crazy over this game and rents it all the time. The sound is okay but it gets a little on your nerves after a while. For a game though it has very original misson layout and will almost make you feel like a real commander.
