Great? | | Rich from Riverside RI USA says (2/Sep/2003): | I found this one to be a bit clumsy in the control department, but the arcade feel was there. I did like Defender. It is why I give it seven stars. I was a bit disapointed with the other games. It seemed to be flat and it did not maintain the same appeal their arcade counterparts once had. I wish they spent more time with the other games. They just lack the hitting power the other titles once had. It is a lifeless title with a fancy name tagged to it.
| Turns out the Greatest Hits weren't actually all that great.. | | Crystal from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada says (31/Jan/2001): | Well, if you are looking for something to do during a five minute coffee break at work, or own a soundless television and don't own any games, than perhaps this game is for you. This game is a look back at time.. when good graphics, replay value, and music never existed.
This game has Atari graphics, and horribly irritating sounds. Not to mention the music. Oh.. wait a minute, thats right.. there is no music. Just the flapping of your ostrich or the shooting of your tiny little ship.
And replay value? The only replay is in the levels which keep repeating themselves.
I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone. Unless maybe they wanted to amuse their pet cat with the fancy dots moving around on the screen...
[Hey! They sure had replay value when I was growing up. - Editor]
