A well rounded game |

I loved Brave Fencer Mushasi. I cannot really say I didn't like any Squaresoft game. Anyway I found the game to be quite entertaining. I was a break for me from the more indepth and mature RPGs I play like Final Fantasy and Parasite Eve. This game is fun because the controls are easy to figure out and that the voice overs are hilarious at times. The gameplay moves smoothly giving details like the changing of days, showing the sun rise and fall. Finding all the missing people can be a little challenging, but its fun to do. I also enjoyed the collecting of the action figures, too bad you can't buy two of each, one to look at one to leave in the box.
The story falls along the lines of a young boy being summoned from another time and place to help the people off another world to defend themselves from an invading enemy. The game isn't really a true RPG game, but more along the lines of an adventure like Crash Bandicoot or Spyro. It is an enagaging tale, but it is possible to beat the game after only 25 hours, rather short, but then again Parasite Eve was just under 10 hours, so because a game is short, doesn't mean its bad.

Brave Fencer Musashi was a GREAT!!! game
GRAFIX - 7/10:The grafix were pretty good even though they are not that great now they were excellent when the game was released in the US.
Sound - 9 and a half/10: The sound in this game is awsome: good sound affects, Decent music, and the best voice overs that i'v seen in a game yet.
Controls - 10/10: The game controls are the same as Zelda (very easy to control)
Length - 8/10: Brave Fencer Musashi is a short and easy game.
in total hours of gameplay there are about 10-20.
Even though the game is short it is still a great game and i reccomend that you run out and buy a copy.

Musashi has every thing a great RPG needs and then some |

Musashi is a great, great game. The graphics aren't top notch but the rest of teh game makes up for that nicely. The game is almost fully voiced, and rather well too. Also the music isn't that bad either, I actually found myself humming along instead of putting on my own music. The story line is perfect and never leaves you stranded. I've played through this game 3 times and still like it. If you haven't played it you should, but the true Squaresoft fan would have already.

It is a great game |

I seriously love the game Brave fencer musashi, th graphics aren't as good, but what do you expect on a ps1, good graphics?
The part I liked best is the beginning, I thought it was cute how Musashi would shout "whoa jump!", but the worst thing to is to use gameshark on this game, if you get rolled over by the head, it would freeze.
