The Best Playstation Game Ever! |
| Mark C. from Essex Junction, Vermont USa says (26/Nov/2002): |
Klonoa was the first game I rented and played for playstation. After that first rental I kept on renting it. I paid at least over a hundred dollars for all my rentals. I’ve been trying to buy it now for three years and I still didn’t find it. The reason I like it so much is because it has the best storyline from beginning to end. If you don’t pay attention in the begging you’re not going to understand a thing. It took me two times to understand the storyline. You also have many paths and hidden places you may have missed when you first play it. I give it a high replay rating. Also the graphics are beautiful. You can never get lost in that game which is the best feature any game can have. It’s like Mario or Sonic with better graphics. Each level is vibrant with color and the graphics don’t "smear" when you move Klonoa. The music is really based on the level. The Windmill Song in the first level is in sync with all that’s happening. For example when you Jump out the door the music starts to speed up. It’s something you need to see and hear to believe. I’m rating this game with a ten because everything is perfect in it. I can’t wait till I get PS2 to play Klonoa 2.

Not just some cute easy game |
| A gamer says (15/Nov/2002): |
I first rented this, just for the heck of it a few years ago. I thought it would just be some easy game I could play and finish in a day. Boy was I wrong! It started off kind of easy, but then there were lots of different tasks to getting past a stage and you even had to use the enemies very creatively! The bosses were really hard and the worlds were interesting. I rented that game about five more times before I finished it! For being such a colorful and cartoonish game, it had a few very serious things in it, and the ending really had a twist...I definitely recommend this game, but it is really hard to find anywhere. I will forever think of this game as one the best.

Klonoa was one of the first PlayStation games I ever played or brought. I thought it looked cute enough [I'm a fan of cute games] and it was! It reminded me kind of when I first played Sonic 01 on SEGA and the ending twisted my heart! I cried and I rarely even cry when I play games ;~; I still cry sometimes when I finish the game. I was really surprised when Klonoa found out Huepow's secret [that I will not reveal, you have to finish it yourself], cus it was such a twist! Anyway, Klonoa was, and still is, one of my favourite games of all time. Beach Volleyball included.
