i think the castlevania:sotn is one of the best platform adventures ever!the graphics as a 2d game are unbelivable,and all of the items and things you can get are exactly what any rp gamer wants!truly a classic,the animeish characters are awesome.but thats not only the best part...the soundtrack.already out,the music with a mixture of japanese rock and chorus,are exactly what any horror like game should have.its unbeatable!!!

I've only played 2Castlevanias. SOTN and Aria of Sorrow. Still working with the second. However Symphony is the best of the two. The characters are great. Plus the design of the whole game is perfect. I'm still trying to get all items (defeated game about 4 or 5 times). If anyone knows how to play as Maria please let me know, I heard that this can be done but I have not managed it yet.

What a game this is!!!! really fantastic, or should i say awesome man!!! who ever created this... your the man!! this games fabolous!!! and the character Alucard his cute and handsome.... if only i could marry him but cannot cause his only created by man.... youll never get bored in this game ever.... This game is one of my favorites. I've had this game for over a year and I still play it every once in awhile. It has great 2D graphics and a gameplay style that's a combination of adventure and rpg that is overall very enjoyable. There are lot of secrets and cheats to keep your interest going. My only complaint is that should be a little longer and harder.

What else is there to say except to play the game and feel the adreling rush of being a dark knight. Alucard is the coolest vampire to show that not all dark knight are evil. He has some of the coolest move and attacks ( though there is actually only 1 and that is his sword or weapons)
Overall i recommend this game to every1

i like to play this game a lot becaues it is one of the best in the series and i would die to own the whole series and play them all in a row. my dad can slash away at all of the monsters in one room and not loose one hit point and get quick experiance and he has some weird way of not getting killed is by jumping and then landing then slashing

From the get go this game is one of the kick butt playstation games out there. I played all the previous castlevania games and this one stands out to be the greatest sofar! If you don't have this game you are missing out on the best gaming experience ever!!
I LOVE THIS GAME!!! It took me a week to finish but I savered ever moment of it!!

I have had this game since it came out in '97/'98, and have every item in the game possible(well, as close as you can get).....
ive consequently beat it 10 times (at least) and got 203.3% I love ths game!!! Im glad it was bought for me and hope that anyone who plays it likes it..(if they dont.....whew.....there off then)

When I first saw my friendz playing the game, I thought it was broing and lame, but when I played it, it was the best game I ever played in my whole life! I have to Castlevania series and I play it more than any other game I have. The graphics are fantastic, the ame is just a great game, and there is no doubt about it!

I'll be honest, I've played several castlevania games on other systems. BUT ABSOLUTELY NONE OF THEM CAN COMPARE WITHE S.O.T.N. IT'S TRUELY A MASTERPIECE. even if you don't like the genre of rpg type games this is the one you'll reget not playing. squaresoft has great titles but they can never beat the true master.

This is really fun because i like it.Its very challenging.Its 2D fun which I prefer instead of this 3D crap.It has items challengeing corses great sound.How can u turn away from a fun game like this???I love it!!!
