Best Digimon in the game | | C-LO from CANADA says (4/Dec/2005): | Some of the best Ultimates in my file are as follows:
Phoenixmon
Andromon
Metalgreymon
Megadramon
The reason why is because they know almost all of the best moves in the game.
I beat Machinedramon with my Andromon and at the time i didnt have the best moves. I beat him with 6500 HP, 6500 MP, 600 OFF, DEF, SPE, and BRA. It knew Megalow Spark (around 800 damage, Buster Dive (around 500 damage), and Megaton Punch (around 400 damage). Machinedramon's best move was Thunder Justice (which would do around 1200 damage). Since Megalow Spark stuns the enemy i just kept using Megalow Spark and i DESTROYED him.
My Phoenixmon had 7000 HP, 6500 MP, 650 OFF, DEF, SPE, and BRA. It knew Megalow Spark (around 900 damage), Spinning Shot (around 700 damage) and Hurricane (around 1000 damage).
My Metalgreymon had 6500 HP, 6500 MP, 600 OFF, DEF, SPE, and BRA. It knew Meltdown (around 1000 damage), Megaton Punch (around 400 damage) and Buster Dive (around 500 damage). Even though it didnt know VERY powerful moves, the moves he knew were fast, they would either stun or confuse the enemy, and they were effective.
Finally, my Megadramon was probably one of the best ass-kickers in my file (except for Phoenixmon). It knew Ice Statue (around 1000 damage, which also stunned the enemy) Megaton Punch (around 400 damage), and Giga Freeze (which did around 500 damage). Basically, all my attacks stunned the enemy. So any move I use will stun the enemy and i can take off a huge amount of damage with Ice Statue or my FINISH move (which did almost over 2000 damage).
I finished the game, but i still need to complete my champion and my ultimate list. So there might be better ultimates, such as Herculeskabuterimon, but for now my ultimates kick the most ass.

To win in a grade S tournament, get a megadramon, give him this stats:
HP: 7000
MP: 7000
Off: 800
Def: 600
Spe: 800
Bra: 500
Techniques: only "ice statue"
In the fight, keep repeating ice statue, and probaly you're win rate is high.
Also, Devil chips are good (if you know how to use them)
Okay, i will explaine: you have a chance of 90%.
Get an "fresh" digimon, train him, let him sleep and SAVE the game.
Then give a DEVIL CHIP (ONLY 1!)
DONT SAVE THE GAME NOW!
When he digivolves, keep training, let him sleep SAVE, and now feed the devil chip (only 1), keep training without saving, when he digivolves to an rookie, you can save again normal, and dont feed any chips now!
Also, some technique you can't find in battle, it's hard to get those, i have a tip for you guys:
Get an digimon with that technique, get atleast 1 auto pilot and 99 portable pottys
Go to "birdra transport" go to Misty tree's
train him by cherrymon, when you come on 50 ,150 ,250 ,350 ,450 ,550 ,600 ,650 ,700 ,750 ,800 ,850 ,900 ,950
You might learn something.
Also, by cherrymon you dont get tired easilly.
Techniques of a higher power, you will learn later.
Like DG dimension you will learn around the 700 brains.

| Great!!!!! | | Will says (31/Jul/2005): | this game is brilliant i give sound 9/10 its good lots of different tracks and its great music but sometimes gets a bit boring graphics 9/10 these are very good graphics for a ps1 game
but are a little blurred in parts gameplay 10/10 you can play this game for hours and not get bored and after youv'e completed it theres still lots of digimon to raise techs to learn lots of mini games and even battle mode so you can see who raised a better digimon you or your best mate. the only thing i didn't like was the fact its a little difficult to get good digimon (i still haven't got my favorite digimon skullgreymon :-( ) new players may find themselves raising alot of numemon heres some examples of how to get digimon to avoid getting numemon.- Tyranomon

When your digimon is 15 days old, praise or scold him. Immediately he will digivolve to Vademon! I know he only learns one technique metal splinter, but who cares, your tamer level increases! This might be a good chance to get into Grey Lord's Mansion. I think the game is incredible! I have nearly completed the game and I would have sooner if my ultimates stopped fading away (friggin annoying). I know what's in grey Lord's mansion, that Myotismon guy has created a Skullgreymon behind the door that can't be opened with that key. It took the most powerful digimon in the game to defeat it, Megadramon. Phoneixmon could have defeated it as well. Take your time to raise your digimon into a... sort of god, and you'll probably beat the game in no time. I'm doing one of my lectures again aren't I? My friend Jamie once asked me to help him get a Greymon. I managed to get one for him. I went downstairs for a drink, came back up 10 minutes later and found out that Jamie had inadvertently killed him! Nice one Jay!

| Good game, too many glitches. | | Andrew Rocks from USA mofos says (21/Mar/2005): | I would've given it a 10, but in the translation from japanese to english, they rushed and the game had some pretty obvious glitches (did anyone else's digimon have a agumonmonmon after it?) but i see some of you are actually having touble just playing the game. Here's some tips: To see all the digimon, open up the card list, select a card, and press triangle. Hold triangle and press "x". the card should freeze on-screen. switch from card view to digimon view and select a digimon, then hit any arrow button and it will go to the digimon either above, below, or to the side of it. Also, if your digimon gets a crap sign over his head go to a friggin toilet. It's also not hard to get an ultimate. I guess most of you would just train all the time, but you should only train their stats to a minimum of 100 and a max of 250. Train no more then 6 times a day (6 hours) and then go out and explore and fight wild digimon. This is the way i got my favorite digimon, Giromon and Metal Mamemon

I am a master in all the digimon games and in this game I acheived a tamer level of ten and that's the maximum tamerlevel you can get. I have got all digimon in the city and in my chart. I won all the medals and I defeated Machinedramon about some 23 times but all I get is a chain-melon! Well, that's good only if you want your digimon to live a little longer than before. One thing I want to tell you guys is in card battle, the exact locations of the digimon you can find is given, but I could'nt find all of them. I mean if you look at a digimon card in DCB, The digimon will be standing near a place which resembles the place you will find him in digimon world. For example, if you look at Etemon's card, he will be standing near a treehouse. and where is that treehouse?
Of course, that's in native forest. So you can find your digimon if you look at their cards in DCB. That's all what I wanted to say.

I would like to tell about 'frigimon' that when u join him he will start working in the restaurant.If u want to make him join u must make a fire digimon(meramon will better).Then keep three or more happy mushroomswith u because it will make him sick.Then before midnight give him happy mushrooms and at midnight ask the bidramon to take u to freezland(where two hyogamon will be roaming and one will be standing.Then fight with the hyogamon(standing one) and then go up where two Icedevimon or gobrimon(ice one)will be roaming, then go near the igloo and from there go downwards and then hopefully your digimon will fall down and frigimon will save u by bringing u in his house then when u will wake up he will tell u that not to bring fire digimon in the place where he cant stay much longer then do auto-pilot and raise him to ulmate or give him dgivolve to andromon or any other digimon that is not related to fire..Then after that go to him again and he will ask u to come to your city.I hope this hint help you.
To make H-Kabuterimon make kabuterimon or kuwagamon.First take a trainer digimon to the place where kunemon will join(i mean will be there on the tree).Make your digimon asleep and when he will get up he will digivolve to a rookie(kunemon) which will digivolve to either kuwagamon,kabuterimon or viegimon(which will digivolve to piximon).

| Pretty good game | | Cloud from Alabama,USA says (16/Dec/2004): | This was a good game. I've always been a Digimon fan and I really did like this game. Even though the graphics aren't great by today's standards, its not really fair to compare considering its a PS1 game. They were actually pretty good at the time. My only problems were that it didn't have much of a storyline, and your Digimon died to easily. I mean, even if it didn't die in battle, it will probably die pretty soon of natural circumstances. But it was a very fun game, as well as original with with the fact that you found Digimon and they joined your city. I also like all the different Digimon you could get depending on your decisions. It makes you want to try and get them all, and adds a lot of fun to the game. All in all, it was a pretty good game.

Also can anyone give me some hints on fishin or making your Digimon live longer as I can't catch anything and my Digimon has "Faded Away" 14 times in 12 days! Also, how come my Digimon keeps Digivolving into Sukamon with the virus guage being completely empty, it is driving me completely and utterly insane! Another one of my many problems is where in Digiworld can you find Porto potties and autopilots as I keep letting my Digimon poop where it wants and it always takes me ages to get to anywhere! Also I know that the dude with the goatee (Nanimon?) appears in five places and I don't know where they are.

the only downside is i can have MACHINEDRAMON as my partner I REALLY REALLY NEED Machinedramon to be my partner, I idolize machinedramon for he is so cool and kicks any enemy(joke only hehheh)many digimons in this game is hard to get such as mamemon and piximon for me this game rocks and lastly i beat the game with my metal-greymon with his tech the buster dive which givres large damages with this tech and prper stats this digimon will never fail you. next is getting tyranomon he is one of the most fastest strong digimon to get the buster dive anyway try making your digimon unhappy is a gamble but sometimes this trick work believe me ..like angemon to devimon or metal greymon to skull greymon until next time BYE..!!

I will tell you how to get very strong ultimates in trade for telling me the things i want to know. But I wanted to say one thing: There is no regulair way to get a wargreymon or another mega. Those are not on the digimon chart and are unable to get unless u have a gameshark. You may have a little chance to get them with that way. Now lets get to the things i want to know: My only real questions about getting digimon are how to get the champions i don't have yet. Champions like Kuwagamon, I keep trying to get him but the only 2 digimon i recieve are kabuterimon and coelamon. So if anyone knows how to get kwuagamon plz tell me and i will m ake sure u get a (very)
strong ultimate. or if u wish to know how to get a digimon in youre city. (ive got all digimon u can get in the city) If u make me happy i will do the same thing for u with making sure u get that ultimate u want
