digimon world is one of the best games ever. i am now have an H-kabutarimon. it sucks that there are no hand codes though. there all only for the japanese version. if anybody knows any hand codes for the american version, please tell them in your review. this game is one of the best though. i'm constantly playing it whenever i have the chance to. i only have part one though. i want two and three. i heard that they're fun also, but digimon world one is very cool. it would be cool for bandai to make digimon world 4 to be a two player game. that would be very fun. and if anybody knows how to digivolve into giromon, please tell. i just found a guide telling on how to turn into a blackwargreymon. hes supposed to be a mega, but when your him on the game, hes an ultimate. the guide was to turn into giromon, turn the giromon into a sukamon, bring it to trash mountain and have king sukamon to turn him back to giromon, then talk to king sukamon 10-20 times and king sukamon will get so sick of you that he'll fight you. once you've beaten him, blackwargreymon will appear and fight you. he's supposed to have twice of everything that your giromon has, off, def, attack, magic, speed, and brain. once youve beaten him, he'll give you a broken shield. feed it to your giromon and he'll turn into blackwargreymon. thats it. but this game is one of the best ever.

1. if you want to compete in beetle land. firstly get your digimon to sleep in kunemon's bed go sleep under the tree keep trainning most of the time you will turned into a bug digimon which is kune mon and train it really hard make sure your defenced is pretty tough and turned into a bug digimon, I had a kuwagamon speed 999 defenced 876 speed 999 brain 999 attcked 999 mp 999 hp 9999. To do thsi is to get alot of money around 300,000 - 999,999 bits go to a restaurant normally when your digimon eats it will be full nope, go to eat in the egg digimon restaurant he don't talk and he don't understand (So he can't say you are hungry)make sure your digimon is hungry go to him and you can buy a omelt for 1000 its keep buying and your defenced will go up to 999, it also works on the other digimon but raely.
the egg digiomon cheats works 4/6 the others works 1/7. This is the secrate of having a poweful ultimate digimon it will increased most of your strenth. Don't look away by this it does work. And when it works come to this board and how poweful your ultimate is. You will agree. the answerd is keep trainning until you see the egg digimon (this is for advanced players). The game is excellent its been in my cuponed for so long so I start to play with it. the graphices is a 8 the gameplay is a 9.

HerculesKabuterymon is very good, because he can learn Promise Beam and Bug. Promise Beam is 444 power. And Bug is 500. I have defeated, about bosses with this. (I spend more than 500 000 bits in it ). I cant go to some places, because my CD is a bit old and I cant go to Factorial Town and MT Infiniti.
I dont know the names of Tamer Level, but I know how to go up:
-Rayse a Digimon into Ultimate.
-Won at a Hard Competicion on Gerymon's arena.
With Tamer level in big stats, youre Digimon can be easily Ultimate. With Training Manual U can have better Skills.
Heres how to have an Ultimate. I dont know if this helps, but:
-Traine every abbility for 50 or 500 by time like this:
Off, Deff, Brn, Spp=100 MP HP=1000
Off, Deff, Brn, Spp=150 MP HP=1500
It may envolve to Ultimate at 10 to 12 yeares. Hope I help!
NOTE: A Ultimate Digimon can be very powerfull, but can be weaker than a Champion, too. And Digivolving items arent good, they down Hapiness and Discipline and stas cotinue the same. And: The weaker Ultimate! The weaker ultimate is this: Anyone, if U get a Digimon with viros at 99% and then have a baby, just walk and no traine or Stats up! Then, let him pop in the ground, he will turn Sukamon, after that, give him a Digivolving Item, and Vua Lá! The weaker Ultimate!

the easy way to get phoenixmon is to do this get about 5 training manuals are more get a poyomon and train him in every stat except for hp .and start off training him in speed and brains after a little while you should have tokomon repeat same stat traning .just for you should know you are trying to get a biyomon then a birdramon. so any way make sure speed and brains become 500 and off and denfence become 400. when done reaching those stats train hp to 4000 and mp to 3000 are more. your best chance to get phoenixmon is to get birdramon ok.how to make quick money. to do this just raise a ultimate and go to mount infinity and fight the dinosaur digimon and you should make a large amount of money. my best digimon have been metal greymon and pheonixmon. you guys know how people tell us how to get cetain digimon and how you have to have a certain stat it is not really true on how you have to have a certain stat all you need is high stats . for instance to get greymon you need stats that are 100 in off def brain speed and if you get stats higher than that you will not get him that not true everytime i want gerymon i give hime these stats 200 off def speed and brains that way when iam ready for him to train ro be a ultimate it will be easy

to get birdramon you need to get a biyomon or agumon.
H.p: 1500/1600

Def: 130

Have 0 to 2 care mistakes
He should digivolve on his fifth day (as with all rookie's I am mensioning here) You could also use flaming wing to get birdramon.
To get Meramon you just need to get a agumons health and offensive power really high such as 1600 h.p and 160 off.
He needs to have around 20kg and 1 to 3 care mistakes. He should evolve on his 5th day
But if you just you just can't be stuffed doing all that you could just get the flame ring (digivolving item).
I got all my digimon with a tamer lvl of 8
SkullGreymon: I'm not sure how to get skullgreymon but I herd from the game that if you have the right stats and make him fade away he might digivolve.
I have more but they will have to wait for another day.
P.S. Who knows how to get etemon into your city because it's really pissing me off trying to find out, he is on the side line of the city.
Also is there a digvolving item for sukamon (the terd) because im stumped trying to find it???????

HI I am back ! and I will tell you more hints and tips ! okay you know speedy time zone ! well when you beat meteormon ! or whatever it is ! leave the area for a while and go and speak to punimon back at the city and he will say there is a bag whcih can store up to 20 ITEMS! so go back to speedy time zone and you will see some sort of digimon ! OH MAN ! I can't remember his name alwell ! when you go near him you will say who are you?
then he will say who are you? then he will get confused and will run away and he will drop the 20 ITEM BAG ! okay please tell me does anybody know when piximon appears because I tried a time and I found him but the next day on the same time ! he wasn't ! okay next hint ! If you want to know where to find frigimon go to iceland ......... or something and with a fire type digimon ! and faint near the huge Iceberg ! ......... This game is cool and i got all the digimon 100% im the best got all the digivolutions and all the medals im really good at the game and if any1 needs help to get digimon to the city email me and i could tell some tips if ur stuck and i also am the stronges i raise rare digimon like phienixmon h-kabuteriamon and i got 2 secret digimon that u carnt get easily like metal etemon and panjamon and im not gonna tell u how i got them. my email is phung1995< remove me > at hotmail.com and i still rerember how to get ever thing so dont worry if im lieing and i really do have panjiamon and metal etemon the 2 secret digimon i think there r more secret digimon like sabreleomon(leomons evolve form) because there a statue of that digimon. i really like this game and raising panjiamon right now i need to get his stats to max i did that with phienixmon. if your wandering who is panjiamon or meatl etemon panjiamon is a leomon in silver and metaletemon is etemons evoulution there is also the item for the royal mane(panjiamon) and metal etemon is metal banana............i feel good so ill tell u a bit on how to get the metal banana u can buy it off etemon when he is in your city thats all im gonna say but im not gonna tell you how to get panjiamon

Excuse me my name is Tony from Indonesia and When I was playing this game, I Think It's the best digimon game and there are so many interest challenge in this game but I really-really want to need some help coz when I play digimon world I can't recruit shellmon what should I do?
Of course I give you some tricks how to recruit monochromon to come join in the city. First, you must work at "Monochrome Shop" until you got more than twenty hounds bit after that he will speak to you and said that you will save this city and some tips to catch digiseabass. First, you need an powerfull item like amazing rod, you can get it in Shogun Gekomon at volume villa with using 300 merit points. After that you needs some meat to catch black trout (you must be patient) and after that you will get that item and catch the digiseabass is not difficult!!!
and I also tell you how to get rare item "rain plant" and "prickly pear" rain plant you can find in the box beside birda transport and it can fruit after one year in one time and prickly
pear you can get in great canyon bottom area.
are you statisfied???

Hey ya'll! Well...I have to admit...This is the best game i have ever played. And i absolutly LOVED it...even tho i am a chick! Well i'll admit it...when i was little i LOVED digimon the show. So i got this game one year for christmas when i was like 9. I started playin it and it was way too hard. So like 4 or 5 years later i started playin it again with my best friend eva heather (btw she was my digimon watchin partner when we were younger, lol). It was still absolutly hard so we quit for a while and this summer we started again b/c we felt like we had to finish what we started and we are doing really well so far. we've almost gotten all the digimon in the city! HECK YES! But i have to say...this game never gets boring but...it has waaaaay too many glitches. And it is like soooo random. I mean...idk how these ppl who make their cheat websites figured it out all by themselves. cuz like...you have to be at a certain place at a certain time for a certain digimon to appear. so random. well right now im waiting for my new copy of this game to come in b/c my little brother destroyed my other one! well if ya wanna email me go ahead! i aint got any cheats for ya or nuthing that you cant find on other sites!

yer we all know this game rocks but some people dont care enough...make sure your digimon gets to the toilet in time this way your virus bar wont fill up and you wont get a sukamon. numamon can be a pain but is also a virus type digimon, to make sure you dont get a numamon *feed* you digimon. A champion/rookie should weigh no less than 40, and an ultimate should weigh around 60, if you do not weigh around 60 then you will not digivolve into an ultimate. Champions usually digivolve champion between 10-15 days, if you need food then look for digimushrooms in the native forest. thats all and dont forget to feed your digimon (force feeding will end with sadness)...aww these reviews have to be 200 words well then il just have to expand this...if you kill pixiemon and gururumon they are tough because they are ultimate digimons they will sell you digivolution items so you can get ultimates easily ... but these items are very expensive and digimon do not live as long if they digivolve by item. please e-mail me if you have any problems by the way. I am also having a few problems in the game so e-mail if you think you can help. and i think this is enough words so thanks for listening and good bye

ok go to the bottom dragon lake and go there in the morning and late afternoon u will see a long shadow way bigger then the rest thats seadramon he swims down all the way to the bucket after he swims to another direction a tiny bit upper from the bucked thats where your bait on your rod should be.(seadramon likes steak) Keep it there intill seadramon grabs it but be careful he runs away alot you will know when hes gonna go after the bait beacause hes head would be exactly on it and he stops. you have to wait till the bait goes down then thats a chance to reel him in. Heres how to catch a digiseabass. catch a digicat fish and go to the first dragon eye lake an throw ur rod near the biggest fish at the bottom. (you need the rod you get of shogun gekomon to reach the digiseabass) now when it looks like its going after the bait you slowly reel it in the digiseabass should follow and it has to be fast enough to for the digiseabass to be a bit away and slow enough to keep up with the fish. now reel it in to the closest it can go then let the digiseabass go after it then just reel it in it and you just have to press the button 2 time and its catched just like that.

I have the other digimon besides two and three is okay but one is the best of all of them!the grafics are very very good,sound is so real if you hade a surround sound it would sound like you were actually there! gamplay, is hard but not too hard you know just right! its digivololution is awsome you have too train hard to get a good person! They even made a virus bar care mistakes even disiple and happyness barsi could go on and on and you can bet i will! they have age,weight,time,you can go fishing,or find digivolve items!your digimon even has a type which will turn out too be important is some cases active hours,even a bathroom so your digimon can do its buissnes.i found it alittle wierd that they grew meat on a farm but thats just the digital world.life span is great i mean no body lives for ever not even in the digital world.you can't control your digimon which alright thats why they made a disiplin and happyness bars you can't make anybody do anything except with a little disiplin!if i hade to rate fun factor id give it from a scale from 1-10 a 30 originality is great totally original i would have paid more than $20.00 for that game thirty is more like it!

I first played DMW while on holiday, boy was I wrong to do that I got so involved with the game I wouldn't go outside, your speaking to the only kid who goes away on holiday and comes back whiter! The graphics is awesome and you get to choose how you complete the game, not like some games that you have to do it in a set chain. I have found that it gets annoying when you build your digimon up strong enough to fight other digimon but he fades away. Even though I'm a girl I wasn't to bothered in having to play a guy not like it would change the game, but it would have been nice to have the option. Oh also When you have giromon join the city do not play the jukebox! it freezes your playstation believe me I found out the hard way, though my playstation was freezing abit before hand, It froze so I hit it and It did this wierd thing when I spoke to jijimon he gave me loads of items with about 50 items each of the digivolution items for all the megas! I nearly cried I was so happy and I was waiting to save it to go asleep and I played the jukebox and it froze! I was never able to get jijimon to give me the items! *crys*. I will defiently buy DMW2 when I can find it!

I started playing again yesterday, and currently have a prosperity rate of 50. I've been using sheets, telling me what stats I need to get certain digimon, but other than that I'm not "cheating".
My only problem is that I need to get mega high stats to take on mount infinity. I'm finding my way to Bettleland to have GreenGym updated currently, having had my Mamemon beaten up twice by Devilmon.
That's something I don't get, the sudden change in difficulty. Most of the time I've been able to march around with Mamemon, destroying everything in my path without even need for inbattle health boosts, but when I get to Mt Infinity the first boss is owning me when I have 20 Med Hps.
Piximon has to be the hardest Digimon to get, due to the fact he hardly ever shows his pink fuzzy behind to the player, and when he does, I tend to have a pathetic champion Digimon. Although he is closely followed by Monochromon, who really depends on luck of the draw.
Anyway, I gave the game 10, as it is, quite simply the best PS1 game ever. The only real downside is the fact that the life span is so short. They should live for about 25 days.

i starde playing when i was 7 and i got sucked into the game.i have a prosperity rate of 93 and my digimon would have to be devimon thats why i wrote this.my first champ was a seadramon my first ultimate was metalgreymon dont ask it was luck i loved th game after that moment i completed my card collection withina week i played non stop i admit i was totaly addicted i stoped playing as much now thst cuz i got better things to do but its a totaly minted game a recomed for animai and japanese cartoon lovers
if you ever want a devimon get a patamon train it toeven parameters about 1500 hp and 1500 mp then hopefully u got a angemon (get it to die so it has 1 or 2 lives i found that helped me a lot) then you need the virus to go half full and make its slightly dislike you and alakazam devimon then train train train and go kick some butt.so any more questions reply to me at kid_with_guts< remove me > at hotmail.co.uk

Digimon World is a great game cause you can do pretty much anything you want. You don't have to worry much about the prosperity rate because it is actually pretty simple to get Digimon to join. Just battle them and win or talk them into joining. To me the toughest part is to get Monochromemon to join the city. I like the grapics and the battle mode. my strongest rookie is Agumon, champion would be Centarumon and ultimate would be Vademon. My Vademon is a master in using DG Dimension as he never misses and can cause serious amounts of damage to all Digimon. It is not true that all attacks on Machinedramon would cause 1 damage. My Vademon's DG Dimension cause over 500 amounts of damage to him and his finish the Abduction Beam cause over 3254 damage to him. Actually my Vademon Hp and MP is at 9999 and all his other stats are at 999. I saved all my chips for Vademon. To get a Vademon all you have to do is to keep your Champion alive for over 20 days and you can get one of the most powerful Ultimates around.( Although I almost lost to my cousin's H-Kabuterimon) I gave it a 9 because we could not get a Myotismon(my favourite Ultimate) as a partner.

I think by far that Digimon World is the best out of the series. You get to train them, feed them, take care of them, make them happy, and save the Digital World. Not to mention the battles and wide-range of moves you're Digimon can perform. Also, the graphics are the best out of the three (In my opinnion.). The only thing was, it was a bit too hard to get to the Ultimate Level, they always died on me before they reached it. Also, it was hard to get to some areas. I always found opening a can of butt-whoop on the enemy is pretty fun (Especially when you're Digimon is a Dinasaur or Dragon!)! I basically have nothing more to say except that this game is pretty top of the line for a playstation one game. I enjoyed this game and I hope you do too! (On another note, if you have seen me around before, I usually rate anime games. Lol, as you can tell, I love Anime and Dragons. ^_~ And well, since it won't let me post and I have nothing more to say about this game, I'll tell you something. Digimon is the best. You collects digimon but the way you have to digivolve at unwanted times into some unwanted digimon. Digimon is excellant because the various places that the digimon hide and what the do in the city when you finnaly get to them. Graphics are some of the best i have ever seen and the sounds are great. It would be better if they had a human lifespan. The Fun factor is higher than the 10 (givern for you to vote for on this website.) I love the originality on the game because there is no other game like it. (Execpt for digimon 2003 and digimon 2 and maybe Crash Bandicoot) Ban Dai have always been great game makers and they should be crowned kings and queens. I loved the fact that Digimon is 4D so you ca move around and explore what you like when you like. The Digimon live where they are most likely to be found and they sometimes add extra little games. (arena etc,) I like that not all Digimon are first time you beat them then thy join the city (eg Patamon, Garumon) But I do dislike the fact that your Digimon digivolve into unpredictable Digimon. I had a Drillmogimon and it Digivolved into a Vademon.
