I'd like to help giving some tips that I found alone. If you want to make Shellmon come to the city you must first have passed from the Ogre's Fortress and make the floor at Great Canyon to collapse. Then go to the elevator and when you go the second floor go through the entrance in the fortress and your Character will say: the elevator makes the ground to rise (or something like that). then DON'T go straight but do the circle through Freezeland. When you return you will meet a Goburimon blocking the way to Great Canyon's breidge. fight him and when you pass you will meet Shellmon. The gole point is to make floor rising to get to Shellmon and when he comes to the city he will open a Press! I hope this tip will help you enough.

It's exactly like having a pet (or something)when you get your first Digimon. I found it hard to make an ultimate form but I did it at last!My only problem is that I don't know how to make Mojyamons happy - all of them and I would like to know what time does Mamemon appear in Gear Savanna.Does anybody knows how can I pass these things? well the only bad thing in that game is that when your Digimon grows up it faints and sometimes your tamer level goes down.I wonder If anyone has managed to create King of Sukamon because I hasn't I'd like to contact via e-mail with other Digimaniacs but I'm afraid I'm the only one...

The grahfics and sound are great and the game is very interesting because you can do a lot of things. There are many different areas to explore and many options for digivoloution but getting an ultamate level digimon is hard and requires long hours of gameplay. I found the beggining of the game difficult but when I got past the beggining I really started liking the game. Getting all of the digimon is extremely hard as is beating the game but it is rewarding and fun. I think this game is worth buying and better then most games to digimon fans but to non-diigimon fans this is a bit boring, long and unineresting. There is the promblem of only getting numemon a very weird and weak digimon. 113 another problem is having your digion die before it can get very strong but if your digimon is very strong sometimes its hard to make it die if you want to have all the digimon in the game

My Best digimon is probably piximon because he has 700 on all the states offense, defense, Speed , and Brains. And 4200 on hp, 6100 on mp. I do not know why but i think mp is more important than hp. You can't win if you don't attack. I am now working on getting a vademon since i've beat the game. My prosperity rate is 73 and i am working on it but i just cant beat g

Another thing is always have at least 5 alto pilots on you when ever you go i personly have 37 for safety ^_^ i dont like to close the game without saving it. You can save at Jijimon's house.
PS. the key to getting a strong champion is to raise all to 100 and hp and mp to 1000. Good Luck!
| help me please, i'm stuck | | Greymon from ENGLAND says (28/Jan/2004): | hello all, my name is Greymon, and i'm a very stuck digimon. i need help with this game, the game is good, but i need some help. i need help with fighting Garurumon in Freeze land, sorry about the spelling mistakes, and to find all the rumours on Shellmons bourd, i can find Seadramon in the lake, and go to Bug land or summat, but the rest i need help on. Also, i need help on digivoling Greymon to War Greymon and also, how to evolve Gabumon to Garurumon and its ultaimate level, and what to next after u beat Tyrannomon and where to go once u go through Speedy world or what ever u call it, look, if anyone can tell me where to find Giromon and Nanimon or what ever hes called, the digimon that was sleeping in Orgemons hideout when u go to get the diamental or what ever key chain that makes u have lots of space in ur bag, and if anyone can help me on how to complete the game, i'd be a verry happy digimon, see Tai hates it when i get upset, he thinks i'm ill or summat then we sometimes argue, so, if anyone here can help me, i'd be very grateful, or if anyone has just got the game and needs help on a special thing that i've done so far, i'd be happy to help, or if u just need a friend, i'll be that too, and dont worry, i wont bite! also, can anyone tell me where i can find Giromon and where to find him smashing a computer, i looked everywhere and i cant see a smashed up computer or Giromon. anyway, please help me someone!

My 1st impression is this game is totally different compare with the 3rd one... and I mean TOTALLY different!
In this game you have to take care your digimon very well and teach us to be patient especially to give what your digimon need. Man, first time I start, my digimon digivolve to Numemon, not my favorite and It's very weak too... And after few day It dead, so disappointed, but actually it was my fault (I don't have to explain).
Personally I don't give too much attention on graphic or sound. The graphic is good, shifting from day and night or else, design or when battle, in fact, I think its one of the best and better than the 3rd. But for sound; I didn't hear music like on DMW3 except sound effect or when battle.
But my point is, this game it not like a RPG (DMW3 genre) game and it doesn't work that way on how to get stronger or your favorite digimon, basically it is very steady and very slow, and it's remind you of learning from a mistake; not to repeat the mistake again. And top of all is learning to LOVE your digimon... I blame myself not too like Numemon >_<
I give this game score 9, and not 10 simply because the digi's character it based on early season 01 anime series and not the latest one but somehow this is the Digimon game should be.
My advice, it's OK if your digimon losing lives or lose on battle (I read it's actually affect on your digimon digivolving or tamer level? I don't know-I doesn't that far) and start from fresh or in-training level, don’t worry… IT'S FUN!

You get to train them, feed them, take care of them, make them happy, and save the Digital World. Not to mention the battles and wide-range of moves you're Digimon can perform. Also, the graphics are the best out of the three (In my opinnion.). The only thing was, it was a bit too hard to get to the Ultimate Level, they always died on me before they reached it. Also, it was hard to get to some areas. I always found opening a can of butt-whoop on the enemy is pretty fun (Especially when you're Digimon is a Dinasaur or Dragon!)! I basically have nothing more to say except that this game is pretty top of the line for a playstation one game. I enjoyed this game and I hope you do too! (On another note, if you have seen me around before, I usually rate anime games. Lol, as you can tell, I love Anime and Dragons. ^_~ And well, since it won't let me post and I have nothing more to say about this game, I'll tell you something. my prosperity rate is 100.Sound is pretty good and i have nothing bad to say about it.
My best digimons are:1-Megaseadramon-all 800 hp-6000,mp-8900.2-Megadramon-all 750,
mp,hp7000.I have all the digimons in chart exept for Phoenixmon and Unimon.
The first digimon with i defeated Machinedramon was a strong Monzaemon.And i think
that Monzaemon one of the best digimons in the game.Nobody knows where could we find
Vitamin C,it is found in Ancient Dino Region it cures tiredness.Fun Factor of the game is the highest.
Its value in shop is not very high but its one of the expensive ps games.It has no minuses exept it could
really have more places to visit.The best game ever done to the Ps.I can help you getting all the

One of the most exeptional things about Dw1 was the amount of Digimon you could digivolve into. I mean, I got this game 3 years ago and the only ultimates I have obtained are Andromon, Megaseadramon and the all so lovely Pheonixmon. If it helps, I would say to raise the hp and mp to 3000 and all other stats to 250. thereon, do whatever you can to raise your digimons discipline WITHOUT scolding it. The best way is to scold it when it doesnt take an item you give it, Portable Potty for instance. Again I would like to state that I give this game 10 and a half rating. I had a chipped digimon game once, but it was crap coz i kept getting the same digimon. then i got an unchipped version and now all i can get is NUMEMON!!! Well anyway if u wanna know how to et a kunemon. then all u have to do is get an in-training digimon go to kunemons bed when it is sleepy. Let it sleep there. when it wakes up it should digivolve into kunemon. Thought there is a 50/50 chance it will work. ENJOY YOUR NEW KUNEMON :)

The graphics is really cool and groovy. The only spoilers is that the lifespan of the digimons are too short. I had only had 6 ultimate digimons-an andromon, a megadramon, a vademon, a metalmamemon, a digitamamon and a monzaemon. My city's prosperity rating is 97 and I'm only short of one metalmamemon. I met it once but my little dude was only at rookie stage and i had no choice. What a watse of time......anyway, I personally think that this game is still pretty great except for that it is too easy too game.

I got a tyrannomon really strong: HP4500 MP 4300 All other stats at 400+, its weight was 39 and it happyness and discipline were maximum but I still cant get an ultimate digimon unless I use an item, if anyone cant give me some hints, please e-mail me : extrashlong< remove me > at hotmail.com I will email you back with some of my own hints. You don't have to worry much about the prosperity rate because it is actually pretty simple to get Digimon to join. Just battle them and win or talk them into joining. To me the toughest part is to get Monochromemon to join the city. I like the grapics and the battle mode. my strongest rookie is Agumon, champion would be Centarumon and ultimate would be Vademon. My Vademon is a master in using DG Dimension as he never misses and can cause serious amounts of damage to all Digimon. It is not true that all attacks on Machinedramon would cause 1 damage. My Vademon's DG Dimension cause over 500 amounts of damage to him and his finish the Abduction Beam cause over 3254 damage to him. Actually my Vademon Hp and MP is at 9999 and all his other stats are at 999. I saved all my chips for Vademon. To get a Vademon all you have to do is to keep your Champion alive for over 20 days and you can get one of the most powerful Ultimates around.( Although I almost lost to my cousin's H-Kabuterimon) I gave it a 9 because we could not get a Myotismon(my favourite Ultimate) as a partner.
