Thís gives you more fun than TEKEN 1-4 bloody Roar it`s the best DBZ game too it is lot more fun than ulimate battle 22 and butagen budokai and so on Vegeta is a little short on attacks but he can do the selfdustruct and Trunks he is the best beginner whit the best combo attacks and they are so easy to doo.You cant get a better Beat e`m up game. This is the best.

Don't know what to say, it's the best game ever.I do think that they could have spent a bit more time on the graphics, and the speed of the game.Besides that it's perfect!!Thanks to all you guys for your tips, it will be much easier now that I know how to go to ssj4 with Goku.Has anyone heard of the latest Half-life mod called Earth special forces?You have to play it to believe it, yup, another winner from Valve.

Ive read most of these reviews and some pepol are talkin out of the wrong hole.HELLO,ANYONE IN THERE?incase you dont remember When Old Kai raised Gohans power level,and gohan turned super saiyan 2,his hair stayed black,so when you say he needs a super saiyan state on the game,he has on,just nto a normal one.ok fo rmy review,The graphics and good,pepol say there BLOCKY but cud you do any better?Yeh its a bit silly having 6 gokus 3 trunks's and not evn the greatest super saiyan,Brolly.the gameplay is good,if you think its slow then its one of two things,one the american version is just pathetic,or two your just walkin,thats what flying and dashing is for(R1 and direction) ,but when you unlock super vegetto and you battle in arcade mode til the end,you do get to face Oozaru bebi,but no Vegeta bebi?and i think they cud have made it better by being able to transform the player insted of having to choose a different one,and the ammount of characters lack a bit,but if u think,tien chiatziou yamcha and other people like that dont appear atall or very much in dragonball gt which the game is mainly revolved around,

it is a exelent game but i cant work out how to use build up mode since it is in japanese!i like gokou ss4 vageta gohan and vageto it has exelent graphix and great music to go with the fighting the only thing that disapoints me is that u cant just power up to supersajin instead of using diffrent characters i think it is the best dragonball game out for the playstation but ive got dbz budoki and i seem to think that that is a better game

The graphics could have done better and the gameplay is super slow and they made SS4 Kakorat and not the great SS4 me, Vegeta. I had the english version but I threw it away because I did not want any other Saiyans I knew to suffer playing this game. I am probably the biggest fan of db/z/gt and I know almost everything about db/z/gt and have seen every movie and game and episode and this game is a disgrace and a waste of time and money. Budokai is way better than this game and I'm going to get Budokai 2 the first day it comes out.

dbz final bout dosnt exist in america any more.it was brought in very early.as playstation one came out i didnt know it existed. until playstation 1 was about to leave.months before ps2.i heard of it because the guy who worked in this store.had it and he traided it.he said because it was slow.i couldnt believe it i got into dragon ballz.year 1999 i was in vacation.in cocoa beach.
they had cartoon network.they were giving the freeza saga.i didnt know if he was a boy or a girl or why were they fighting each other.but all i new was when i found out he was a guy.when krilin said get him.i just wanted goku to kick his ass.for impersonating a man.and i wanted to know all about dragon ballz.the sad thing about it i never had the chance to buy dbz final bout.i came close once a game stop had it.but the stupid game wasnt american it was jappaneze.it didnt play in my playstation 2 it had the
instruction booklet in jappaneze language.i thought it was a typo or something.now dragon ball gt came out.it spoiled the game for me.id do anything to get dbz final bout.or if the creaters of dragon ball z.could please make another one that has characters. from futier episodse

I like dragon ball z because you can play and you can beat your other friends. Sometimes the game is boring because you don't do anything but beat the DBZ fighters but when I got the new dragon ball z characters I started to get excited again. I played and played until night and until my mom turn it off for me but I really enjoyed playing the game.My favoeite character is Gohan becasue he is very strong but pam is really cute. My friends and family enjoy playing the game. My little brother always wants to play versus me but I always beat him because I am 100x better than he is. I play after I get from school and I stop when I have to go to bed. When I had a party last week my friends all wanted to play the game and sometimes even play against me but as soon as we started I beat them. I did a kamehame wave and they just die. I found out some tips of how to make my played more stronger than ever. I really enjoyed this game and I hope all of you would also do because if you don't you don't know what yuo are missing it is one of the best games ever. I would not trade it for anything in the world except for 500 dollars of course I could buy more games that way.

For all those who think the game is rubbish and say it hardly has any moves, think again because every character has about 12 different moves. The game also has lots of cheats. On any character try down,backwards,forwards and triangle and they will do a powerful beam. The controls are hard at first but you get used to them.

I have been looking for this game for AGES, then I went into my local second hand store in England and snapped it up!
And I have to say that this game is absolutley brilliant, it may suck at first but only for a few minutes, once you understand how the game plays you will have a ball.
I say if you can find a copy, buy it! But it is VERY rare, especially on the PAL region

I truly liked this game. But the flaws can bring it down. First the ups. I liked the build up mode, I brought my favorite character into this mode (Piccolo) and brought him up to a higher level and fought all the others. I have alot more fun when I have friends over and we're battling out to see who is better. Having a battle with a friend can make it more interesting aswell, the computer is too easy. I'll fire a Ki Blast and my friend will dodge and throw a blast or a punch and then we'll get into a good battle for a few seconds. Being able to battle with the blasts (Like both of you throwing a blast at the same time and they blast into eachother and they will go back and forth) Is fun also. But they blow up after a few causing both opponents to get injured. The self-destruct is a good/cheap way to get a draw. (Example: I was Piccolo, of course, and my friend was Vegeta. I was whooping his ass all over the mountains and he desides when I'm far enough away he decides to power updrastically and blow up causing a draw match. This is where the bad stuff comes out. One reason he got to blow up during that match was because the game is so fuc#ing slow. I tried to fly/run over to him and hit him with a blast (which would have killed him) to stop his self-destruct move, but it takes 10 minutes just to walk 5 feet. And the punches are thrown about 1-3 seconds after pressing the buttons (seriously.) But rapid fire fights and dodging is something I love. Like trying to land every hit on Frieza with hard difficulty on is pretty tough. (Cell and Buu are harder by the way) But blasting away is an easy way to win, if you know the controls. Which are the hardest to learn. But you'll have the game beat before you learn them totally. The characters kinda bother me. Sure Piccolo is all I ever use but having Tien, Krillin, Chaotzu, Yamucha, Nappa, and Radditz would be nice. But using the codes in my book is very cheap. I liked earning the character myself, puts more into the game. Having a Cell Junior would be nice, and not so many damn Goku's! I think a great improvement that should be made in Dragonball Z: Legendary Super Warriors (Yes, a PS2 game. Note: Not a fighting game, and adventure game!) Is being able to turn into a Super Saiyan after you reach a certain level. Not having to select a different character just to be a super saiyan. If they had to do this, than there should be a normal Goku, and a Super Saiyan Goku. But if needed, SS3. And another thing that I hate is that ChiChi can beat a Super Saiyan Vegeta just as easily as Frieza can. In the cartoon, being a Super Saiyan raised up the power, not made it as strong as a human. I think that having a Super Saiyan character should give you an advantage. But over all, this game is great. I admit, it can get pretty boring if you just fight the computer all the time, but having a friend battle you who trains his character up just as much as you (I have the game though, so I have more time to build up Piccolo) Then you could have great...slow...but great battles! A must buy for any DB/Z/GT Fan even if you hate it.

DRAGON BALL GT FINAL BOUT IS A GREAT GAME! But the graphics are ok. the attacks rock and its awsome! Its better than budokai cause you can fly and you have more than 20 moves for every person! I think its the best DBZ game ever made so far! Do you ever wonder if they're going to make a DBZ game thats not a boring one on one!!!!! But still is a great game

i been looking 4 this game since i bought my ps. I've played DBZ Ultimate battle 22,27 amd legends and they were ok but 4 final bout its wat i called a good game. Maybe the limited number of characters and the language(mine is in japanese) may become annoying but once in the game u really enjoy it. but above all wat is cool is when u counter a special move ie say a kameamea the camera spins around both characters and u can enjoy the scene.so for me having watched almost all DB and DBZ episodes FINAL BOUT is an excellent game.

Dragon Ball GT is a game of many limitations one of the most disapointing ones is that you can't play with Vegeta super sayian level 4 one of the best characters in the GT saga, and the other mistake was not to let the Fighters move fast and deadly like on the cartoon it self. Well that's it for the bad stuff now on with the good ones, in this game you can play with almost everybody and their trasformations, and their energy blasts are super cool !!! .. Bandai if you read this, you could have done much better !!!

I am a huge fan of Dragon Ball Z, and GT. And when I purchased this game I had high expectations, I felt that it was to easy even on the hard level and that there weren't enough characters. While reading these reviews everyone complains about not having SS4 Vegeta, what about regular Vegeta? But enough about the bad things. I thought that graphics were much better than some of the older dbz/gt games. And that the characters that they did choose to use were well replicated.

I'm a huge fan of dragonball z and I always wanted this game.so when I was opening my presents on christmas, I couldn't believe what I saw. dragonball final bout. so I started playing it and it's graphics are awesome!! their attacks are really cool especially when they do their specials. i also learned how to fly so you could go faster. you hold L1 and press up, right, or left. so i think if you're a big dragonball z fan, and have a playstation, then I suggest that you go out and buy this game in stores or off the internet because it's a awesome game and there's no reason not to buy it.

Dragonball GT Final Bout is a mad and really cool game. I like using Buu, Gohan and Pan, I think they got heaps good moves especially Buu with his self-destruct. But there is a downfall, they should have heaps more characters and the game should be faster when they turn around, it makes the game slow when they turn and makes it less like Dragonball GT. This is a real awsome game i wood definitly recomend this for dbz fans.
the 1 disadvantage of it is that it doesnt hav very many characters so it cood b improved there and its a real awsome 2 player game build up mode is fun and well yeah thats all i hav to say,so it cood use with a bit more ppl>.

Dragonball Final Bout has got to be the best DBZ-GT game out there. The graphics are totally awsome, and the characters voices sound just like they do off the series ! The best thing I like about the game is the meteo smashes, take Goku's for an example, he would punch you alot then he would do an instant transmittion, then kick you alot, then it does the same routine over and over again. The music is incredible, and the intro is great ! The song in the intro is called "Greatest Fight" it's a great song. There was one thing I wish they could have done and that was to put Vegeta into his GT out fit and have him selectable as SSJ 4 Vegeta. The game has a story mode which you can go against everybody in the game including the secret characters and last person you fight would be Golden Oozaru Babi Vegeta. It has a vs mode, a Tenkaichi Budokai tournament mode, and a build up mode ! The game has Goku, chibi Goku, SSJ Vegeta, Mystic Gohan, Pan, Trunks, Future Trunks, Cell, Majin Boo, SSJ Vegetto and SSJ 4 Goku ! This is a very good game, but Bandai could have done a little better.
