Look, i admit it had some draw backs but other than that it was totally one of the best fighters i've ever played. Build up mode is the best feature, get a couple of friends to build up characters and go at it. The story mode is easily beaten on normal. Put it on hard and try beating Super Saiyian Goku Level four along with Super Bebi and all the others in 20 minutes. So what the hidden characters are the other forms of Goku, Trunks, and Goten. I feel that this has some of the best bitmapping for a 32 BIT system. It was released 1997, 5 years ago. 5 years ago the N64 was going to be the best thing on the market and there was no 128 bit graphics. if your a DragonBall fan of any kind, BUY THIS! I have 2 out of the set and all i need is UB-22 and I'll be done. I'm buying the japan versions because i don't want to waste my time with American Crap that is horriblly dubbed.

Being younger when I first rented this game, I loved it. I had friends over and we would try to beat the pulp out of each other. Now playing this game several years older and knowing much more about video games, it was different. I knew it wouldnt be so great because it was one of the earlier games for the playstation. The first thing I noticed was the awesome anime intro. After that I saw alright menus but limited play features. By limited I mean LIMITED. Yeah after playing basically the first play mode dubbed "training" I was dissapointed by the clunky graphics and lame controls. We are talking hit the enemy 3 seconds after I push the button. Ok now that I'm over training mode I enter the normal versus mode. hat can I say? im deciding on what character to choose. Hmmm theres about 3 forms of goku already that play the same. I'll be Little Goku. Now that im actually in the game lets see. Just like training except the enemys fight back. Everytime you defeat an enemy it unlocks a character. The problem is that almost every character is a variation of a different character! Now being a Dragonball Z/GT fan I didn't mind but for fighter fans I think you will mind. Ok now that Ive beaten the game in 20 minutes I think ill play the other two modes! Tournament mode is basically the real fun...if you have friends. Its 4 on 4 or something like that in a tourny. It really brings the Dragonball magic out. I just discovered it plays just like all of the other modes! Ok now the controller is out the window and I have to buy a new one. Granted I knew the game was not going to be so good it is worse than I expected. Im not going to get into the last mode. After all it plays just like all of the other ones. This game is worth a rental Dragonball fans. Even if you are a fan , LORD HELP YOU DONT BUY IT!!!!

This is the best game ever made, I used to think dragonballz legends was the best but when I played this game Woo boy!!! Awesome! Some of you people might think game sucks big time BUT YOUR WRONG!! The graphics are sweet, the music also rocks, also about the life span it can go up to the color dark blue [the people have this game should know what I mean] Dbz fans out there you have to get this game!!.

well ok DBFB is great game i dont see why now i mean they do animations,ur can link meteos,and another is...ITS IN 3-D.But the bad thing is i think the 3-D'ness makes this game slower but the better thing is there a build up mode which is great to me cause in DBZ ULTIMATE BATTLE 22 i have some chars at 125 lvl making me start with lvls like 41,42,43.but they build up should be u save in place then u click save and instead of selecting were u want to save i saved over a lvl 104 Little Gokou on accident.now i have to start all the way over.the regular Gokou's spirit bomb should be animated yeah its the regular spirit bomb i can see a kamehameha knocking it out but if u do a lil regular ki blast the spirit bomb is destroyed.And that just sucks i mean u can do a power battle with the computer usin vegeta's big bang attack but u cant let the spirit bomb do a power struggle thats just strang and all they had to do was make a copy of cell doing the self destruct and take cell and give vegeta and buu the animation for the self destruct.and goku should have Kaio-Ken.but overall this game has great game play.o yeah and vegetto fire move should be animated too

Okay, I don't want to sound too critisizing about this DBZ game, but it sucks. Anyone who thinks this is a fast-paced game, you must be slow yourself (no offence). Turtles, baby turtles at that could move faster than the characters of this game. This game excels at some aspects, such as energy blasts and sound. The drawings are not quite the best, and the character voices are not even close to the ones here in Canada. The code to get all the characters is simple and repetitive: up, down, left, right, up, down, left, right. To get SS4 Goku it's: Square 5 times, then Triangle 9 times. How hard was that? Sorry if I gave it away. The starting video and music, however, is fabulous! It shows almost of all the characters fighting one another. Congratiations, Ban Dai, on this truly one-of-a-kind crappy game! I would recommend Legends over this. I havent played Ultimate Battle 22, so I can't compare that. If you truly love DBZ, as I do, get this, but otherwise save your money and get one of the other DBZ games. All in all, I would give this game a whopping 3 of 10. Thank you for your time.

Many here have said that Final Bout is a great game. It's not, take it from me. It takes awhile just to land a punch or kick. The characters are slow as heck and it takes them a long time just to walk a couple of steps. This makes the game boring. It will bore you. If this game auctually doesn't bore you then you must like anything. You'll have more excitement picking up dead rats then this game. If you are the ultimate DBZ fan then buy it. I can only play this game ever once in a while. The fights can be boring. The only thing good about Final bout is that Vegetto is on it. The other two competitors, Legends and Battle 22 are far superior. To recapitulate, don't buy this game unless you're desperate. This is one officious game. Lethargic characters enervates this game's value.

Oh man now this is what I call a wicked game. I've had this for a long time, and I still love this game. My only wish is that it had more characters, like Krillin and Tienshinhan. Some of the androids as well. But its still a cool game. "Apparently you can get Gotenks and Gogeta, which would be awesome, but When I did it it took me ages and I couldn't get them on build up. Still an awesome game. I recomend it.

Dragonball final bout is a good game it has good graphics and has lots of good codes as well but I think they should have more characters if you ask me I think legends is better but this game has a variety of moves if you need some codes for your game just email me I have alot of codes but the game is ok its fun but the controls take a little while to learn but the moves are basicly the same but the game is good so if you want to get it it is not a waste of money.

Dragonball GT Final Bout is by far the best game I have ever played. It has many characters and many secret characters. It even has Ubuu as a secret character!! The first time I played this game I thought,"Wow, I have to get this game!!" It is a tough game that is still an easy game to play. It is cool how many different combos and moves that you can do in it, and you can always find somehting out about it that you never knew. I have never played DBZ Legends or Ultimate Battle 22, so I can't compare it to them, but I m sure Dragonball GT Final Bout is much better. It has many different modes, such as training, versus, build-up, tournament, and one player modes, all being different yet fun. I have hardly played this game but I am sure that I will like it for many years. The best part about the game is that you can keep on playing it, but it won't make you bored. I recommend buying the Japanese version, instead of paying much more for the American version, if you decide to get it. The Japanese version has better music anyways, even though you get so involved in the game you don't notice it, and the music doesn't become a nuisance, as in some games. This game is definately the best game I have ever played!!

For all those who think the game is rubbish and say it hardly has any moves, think again because every character has about 12 different moves. The game also has lots of cheats. On any character try down,backwards,forwards and triangle and they will do a powerful beam. The controls are hard at first but you get used to them.

The game is pretty good but there is not as much good characters as there should be.It would be cool if you dont have to pick a SS guy just to be like that.You should be able to pick normal Goku and go Super.The way the didn't make verybody equal like most fighting games is very good for the gameplay.They did make some of them how strong they really are but not all of them.EX-SS4 Son Goku he is strong but not strong enough.He should be able to beat trunks in one punch.

When I got Dragonball Z GT I enjoyed it kinda. You get the hang of it easily and learn most of their special attacks. But one was that their speed wasn't fast like in the cartoon series of DBZ and you don't feel like you're in control of your character sometimes. It's still a good game though. The thing that annoyed me the most was the turning and the selection of fighters (I expected more fighters like Nappa or the androids). There's like 2 small Goku's (little goku, super little goku), 4 big Goku's (normal, super, super ssj, ssj4), 3 Trunks's (normal, super, super ssj). Some fighters are the same. But anyway it's still a cool game and the multiplayer is still fun and the graphics are cool. The sounds are great (with the voices of the fighters). The game would have been better with more fighters. I trained my ssj4 Goku up to level 55 and used him he was very powerful against lots of his opponents. It's still a good game though and most of you would like playing it now and then. Get it if you want to. I like Legends better. But Final Bout is still great for Dragonball Z fans and a bit fun.

I like dragon ball z because you can play and you can beat your other friends. Sometimes the game is boring because you don't do anything but beat the DBZ fighters but when I got the new dragon ball z characters I started to get excited again. I played and played until night and until my mom turn it off for me but I really enjoyed playing the game.My favoeite character is Gohan becasue he is very strong but pam is really cute. My friends and family enjoy playing the game. My little brother always wants to play versus me but I always beat him because I am 100x better than he is. I play after I get from school and I stop when I have to go to bed. When I had a party last week my friends all wanted to play the game and sometimes even play against me but as soon as we started I beat them. I did a kamehame wave and they just die. I found out some tips of how to make my played more stronger than ever. I really enjoyed this game and I hope all of you would also do because if you don't you don't know what yuo are missing it is one of the best games ever. I would not trade it for anything in the world except for 500 dollars of course I could buy more games that way.

People think this game is rare but it really isnt theres a store close to me that sells them like your at a mall so I dont consider it rare but lets get to the point. This game is a fun game when I bought t I played it all day and mastered it in two days! I like the combos they added to the game espically Gokus combo when he does the instant transmission and beats you down from all over. I didnt give this game a perfect score because of the lack of characters. Most companies make more improvements from there last game and there last thats is almost exactly like this game is Dragonball Z Ultimate Battle 22 hey could of added mre characters and the secret charactes on the game are mostly Goku but why complain its stilla good game so if like Dragonball Z GT and there games get this one its worth it.

This is a must get game if you like fighting games and if you are a Dragon Ball Z/GT fan. I give this game a 10 rank because it's easy to handle , good graphic's , great fighting tactic's , and finally they all have their own moves . Also you can train up a character and fight with him/her against a friend if your friend has a fighter trained. I've trained up Vegeta and got him to his max level which is 250 and he's the strongest trained person of all time he's never been beaten all my friends tried to and they ask whats my secret to training. I'm a big fan of Dragon Ball Z/GT and I have all the GT Episodes on my computer all 64 of them so i know everyone in DBGT. Did you also know there is Dragon Ball GT Final Bout in English ? I have that to but it is not cheap the used is $60 and the new is $150 - $200 that is alot of $. Another reason this is a must get game is that there is alot of characters 18 - 20 characters in the game and they all have their own moves. Well that is all I have to say on Dragon Ball GT Final Bout.

If you are a Dragon Ball Z/GT fan this game is a MUST HAVE!!! The graphic are great(for a 1997 game).The sound is great to although I havent played it in a while and looking for it to buy. The Gameplay is asome (I love everything about this game).
The fun factor is asome(if you play as different characters especialy Vegito he is my favorite,and play agianst as many different people as posible and try not to use codes)The character selection could have been beter though, weres Gotenks and Little Goku is just like little Goten but weres teenage goten and I dont realy care for Krillin or Tein but what about Yamcha and SSJ Gohan and Broli and the Andriods or at least 18.The speed is very good ecsept the turning.Over All The Game is the best Fighting game around.

First of all this is a must buy for all DB/Z/GT fans. And second if you are really into action fighting games you should own this one if not you are a total BIZITCH. I've seen every thing there is to see about DB/Z/GT even the three T.V. specials and the show RULES just like the game, for everybody who was pissed when Vageta got man handled by Freeza in The Freeza saga in DBZ pick SSJ Vegeta and rip Lord Freeza a new one. Over all Dragon ball final bout is a really cool action packed game and the graphics are nice and clean for a game made in 1997 plus you have three game modes to choose from. Theres the main game the Tenkiachi-Boudaki and theres also a build up mode (a tip in build up mode:if you own a previous Dragonball game like ultimate battle 22 and your build mode character is at a high level go to the memory card screen on final bout and save under the level you are in the other game and your final bout build mode character shoul become stronger)any way this game ruls the sounds are about a 9 and the game play a 10 I learned how to use the controls pretty fast and i like them the graphics rock and it is full of action ,the meteo attacks are cool the power beams like the Kame ha me ha wave and others are cool and the voices are the exact as in the series over all this game deserves on a scale from one to ten it deserves an eleven.
