This game is really cool. It has a lot of characters and the gameplay is very simple. A bad thign though is that the graphics are really sketchy and its a liitle too easy to beat. But it also has a special mode so thats pretty cool. I think its better than final bout and ultimate battle 22. Final bout is too slow and ub22 is just acheap version of final bout. Another bad thin about dbz legends is that it skips about two sagas: Raditz and Garlic Jr. But Overall its one of the best.

This game is cool.It is not like most fighting games.you can choose from 1-3 characters to fight at the same time and you can choose from one of of them any time in the battle.GRaphics are okay.if they were any better i'd giver it a 10.Gameplay is awesome,control is pretty cool.they plasy pretty cool music.You follo the DBZ storyline.I'd reccomend this game out of the other DBZ games.

DragonBallZ Legends is the best because a 3 on 3 battle this the only dragonballz fighting game that has this feature but the graphics you might not like but it is good for the battle plus if you beat the game you get free pictures and a new mode SP Battle mode it is like surival mode except you cannot pick your characters.now people say that in 2player mode 3 on 3 it is useless cause the computer moves away all you got to do is fly to their side or swicth characters.

When I first got DBZ Legends I expected it to be a crap beat-em up like Ultimate Battle 22 but it is so much more, this game is so good!!! There reason why I liked this game is because of its awesome gameplay and player moves, although the graphics are something for desire the gameplay and the easy control makes up for this lack. A must buy (or download)

I must say this game rocks,the gameplay is amazing and it follows the series almost to every major battle.I sort of enjoyed the graphics nothing to brag about. Z campaigne was great but i enjoyed the 30 battles of SP mode. With 35 characters this game is the best. I own Final Bout and UB:22 but when i got this i was blown away on the first stage. If you don`t own this game get it! There is no replacement. The only flaw is the some of the series characters and movie characters do not exist on this game,you know Brolly, Raditz, Cooler, King Cold, Minoshin, Kaoshin Etc. The only one i wish was on there is Gogeta thats pretty much all i even have to say bad about this game. There are millions of combinations,Every time i play i try a new one. i always here about a hidden levels mode. But it`s gibberish and the only way to get new characters is Z Campaigne mode. I have been looking for gameshark codes for hl mode or some hidden character all i know is 35 characters and one of the tightest games ever made. The Ki waves are alright but could have used improvement. The Landscapes are great i like to smash people into buildings on SP mode. It`s to great to stop talking but i gotta go.And remember it`s Kamehameha not Kamayamaya.

I play games just like this its nothing new da graphics to me weren't all that bad but it gets old fast after a while u be seeing dis game in ur attic. played didn't u get my drift. lol it was ok but later it get's boring but pretty desent grphics for a ps 1 game. maybe a gave it 4 cuz i hate arcade fighting style games but we will never no.
P.S.- budaki was ok but it was a little diffrent from dis game cuz u have a button to push to fly and u can battle whos blast is better on this game too.

This game is fun for a number of reasons theres alot of characters to choose from such as future trunks ss3 goku and vegeta and many others.Iike how the fighting system works in this game even though its a fairly simple learning curve your allways finding something new in each major battle.The graphics could of been better but the finishers look awesome such as trunks finish buster and gokus kamehameha. I like the idea how its team battle and if you choose goten and chibi trunks on the same side what happens they fuse into gotenks.This game is fun deffinitely pic this one up if your looking for something fun and unique in the dragonball Z fighting series of video games

Simply put, this is the best DragonBall Z game to ever grace any platform, with the possible exception of its Sega Saturn counterpart, which is actually better in some aspects. I know this because I have both versions. Don't be discouraged though, the PSX version is awesome. The graphics are much better than, say, Final Bout and UB22 (both of which I have). This game has a rather dull soundtrack though, as it only plays the same couple of songs throughout the course of the whole game. However, this game does use the original japanese voice actors' voice as well as the japanese narrator's (you japanese DBZ/GT fans know what i'm talking about). The replay value is very high, as I play the game practically every day. The levels are big, although not nearly as big as in the Saturn version (in the Saturn version, you can fly higher and fly farther away from your opponent). Another thing that would attract DBZ fans is the amount of playable characters, such as Son Gokuu, Bejiita, Ginyu Tokusentai, Suupaa Saiyajin 3 Son Gokuu, etc. (if you think i'm on drugs for spelling the names like that i'm not; I can read japanese and these are in fact the actual spellings of the names). Dare I say this is my favorite game on any system? I would have to say..............YES!! This is definetly one of the most satisfying games I have ever played.

The graphics were not the best, but were that was lacking the gameplay made up for it. You can be just about anyone from dragonballz. The best thing about the game was how you get to go fight everyone in dragonballz (even the Ginyu Force). It is definently a must have.

first of all, being a big fan of anime and games, you get nervous when you play these types. Is it going to mimic the anime, or is it going to be something else? Is it going to follow under my expectations,or will it excede them? Folks,with all do respect, Dragonball Z legends,even being an imported game, deserves a 10 out of 10, it enters the land of gaming tyrants like Street Fighter and Tekken and believe me when i say, it comes out swinging. Sure, the graphics being on the first year of playstation,seem to totally be outdated,but not truly horrible,considering an amazing 6 characters on the field at a time with well over 30dbz characters from the saiyan saga to buu. The sound, while not perfect, it still feels like your watching the show itself, such as Goku and Vegeta arguing over the fusion of Vegitto, as well as the good old KAMEHAMEHA. Folks, indeed this is the greatest dbz game yet, until infogrames makes my dreamed online dbz game for ps2, this is as good as Anime to games get. GET THIS GAME NOW! IT"S WORTH IT!

dbz legends is the best game i have ever played.The graphics could do with some work but overall the game is da bomb.When you play it goes in order of the sagas.When you are fighting in f8 if you let vegita get hit twice by a special and fat buu will help you fight against kid buu.the music is cool but you don't notice it when you are playing the game.I would definetly recomend this game to all dbz fans!!!!!!

I must say that this game is indeed very special, because it's a 3-3-battle.Further more, I think that Bandai is experimenting on us, every time they want to develop a new game for the psx, because , until now, every game was different. Now, this game has a story mode wich gives it a very strong point. And the cool thing is, that you have a background, with some good music playing, and on top of that , there are pictures sliding over the screen while the storyteller is talking, unfortunately it's in Japanese, but that really doesn't matter. The controls are quite simple, because you only have a defend- and a punch button. At first, it sounds very bad, but it isn't the game is really cool even though it's alot different from all the previous games. The music is nothing to be ashamed of, it's a good type of music to listen to when you're fighting.But here's a letdown: when u punch or kick, it sounds more like gunshots than the real thing, and that's probably the baddest part of the game. Also, the landscapes are very poor, you only have two of them, one on earth, and one on Namek, and the cliffs have a weird square-like shape, but those are more details, they don't harm the playing at all.Another good thing is , you have about 35 characters, that's right, but not 35 different, for example: you can play as normal Goku, and SS-Goku, or even SS3-Goku, same thing for Vegeta and the others, except the bad guys.When your character(s) have the better hand in a battle, the powerbar turns fully to your side and then your controlling character( you can switch charcters while playing, and then the computer takes over them, so you play with one at the time)fires off a cool blast, and when your energie is fully charged , you can fire off a different attack (each character has two different attacks), my favorite attack is SS3-Goku's XX-large Kamehameha-attack, that one's really cool!!But you can't fire off energie rays at any time, for that , your side of the powerbar MUST have the upperhand and win, but the bad thing is , you tire out very quikly, so you must charge energy very often.Unlike the other games, heren you can punch your enemy sky high, or kick him far away, or just punch him back to the floor again, you don't have that in the other games, plus you can also decide wether you want to fly normal , or superfast with energy around you.So now the rating: this game looks stupid when you first look at it, but it really isn't, it's a great game, but you'll have to import it or somehow manage to order it from the internet. DBZ-fans should definetely get this game(keeping in mind that it's not like the other DBZ games you've played, this one's different), I promise you that it won't be a letdown.

Out of all the DB games, this is the hardest and yet the best. It can have six characters fighting at time and the battle system is simple and fun. You attack your opponent with punches and kicks until the Power-Balance gauge fills blue/red and then you can attack with a kick arse super energy projectile. The CG animation in the opening movie is excellent but the in-game graphics are probably the poorest I've ever seen. The camera isn't as bad ast he $#< remove me > at !e in Psychic Force but is sometimes annoying. They're many characters but you could get a little peeved after seeing Goku, Gohan, Krillin, Piccolo, Vegeta, Trunks and Gotenks are in the intro-movie but are no in the game yet but eevn stranger is that the characters I've just mentioned are in the booklet. The music is very good and there is alot of sound FX. If you are easily enraged by getting something that is not in your language (I have a Japanese import) then you should stay away from this, even if you are the world's biggest DB fan otherwise, buy it because it's 100% brilliant.

this game sucks. I dont know how to do anything good for combos. I looked on almost every page and I still cant find anything good that will help me with the combo stuff. I liked ultimate battle 22 a lot better. If anyone can help me find a good way to like pull off some good looking combos or something my opinion about the game might change. hell yea this game rocks i could play it for hours. i mean sure the graphics arent the best thing in the world but who cares!! the fast fighting and teleporing is all u need plus u can switch from characters u can have a 2 on 2 or 3 on 3 the only thing i think is wrong is the little power level thing. in order to do a kamehameha u need to beat up the enemy until the power level fills.(in other words u cant do a move on your own). Hey besides that its a pretty decent game if they would make a game like that for ps2 i would buy it in an instant. .. (they would have to fix the power level thing) if funimation would do that it would be awsome with all new graphics and new a few battle modifications it would be an awsome game.

well the first time I played this game I thought it was coo. you know you can fly on your own and have that fire circle around you . but the graphics was terreble. well I really didn't mind that. but the special move stuff really made this game be frome a 10 to an 8 All u can do is shoot them balls out and fight dont get me wrong the game is fun but it could be a whole lot better I really like the way they fight its awsome but the specials really brings the game down and the explosions all look the same I wish they would come out wit a game like dragonballz budaki 2 and this game mixed in together that would be the freaken bomb the craters would make millions cause my friends who played the game said the same thing and I think it would work.
