everybody that you talk to will say that this game is one of if not the worst dbz game eva made this is not true i had the game imported before it was released in the uk and it blew my mind the sound quality isnt all that but u get nearly all of the characters from the sajin saga to the super buu saga plus a few more once you complete the game there are 27 charaters i prefer this game to final bout gt because the character look like they do in the show and the comic i would give this game 11/10 if i could it rocks

The people who gave this game a bad review are dumb. This game was like made in the 1996. I've seen better graphics on Virtual fighter 2 for the sega saturn. This is a very cool game. You can be Majin buu, Super buu, Vegeto,Freizza,cell,surpreme Kai,Goten,Trunks, Kid trunks and My favorite:Gotenks!!!!
this game can become up to 8 players if you play Championship where you and 7 of your friends fight the computer and eachother. The more placement you get, the more harder the COM will be.
Did you know that Trunks can become Normal? If you exhaust his ki Bar, He wont be a Super saiyan anymore. the thing that makes it good is that your always super saiyan or in your perfect form. i mean I hate it when you have to power up to gauge 5 just to become a super saiyan on budakai one. Another thing that makes it almost equal is that in the championship mode you can't be knocked out of the ring. Majjin Buu is just so funny. When he's out of Ki he doese this funny dance:) But the sad fact remains that It dosn't have Mystic Gohan, Kid Buu, or Broly :( Instead of Mystic Gohan they have Gt.Saiyaman. But the cover does say "macth ups form the Buu saga." so i guess they didn't include people form the Kid Buu or Fussion sagas. If you play just for graphics , than you not a true gamer. It's addicting and in the Bulid up mode, you can level up a charrecter of your dessire so he will have more health and power than any other person. Majjin Buu is at Lv.19 now.

I think that Ultimate Battle is the best out of the three DBZ and DBGT games. Because the graphics are great and the gameplay is better as well. Lets take DBGT Final Bout if you make a move a few seconds later the Character will do the move and the graphics are UGLY!!!
UB 22 has a great selection of characters in total there are 27 characters and thats is much. The sound isnt to great but i dont really care, this game has a verry long lifespan cause you can train your own characters as well and make them stronger and then you can fight with two "Build Up" characters. So i think this is one of the best DBZ / DBGT games. If you gonna buy i game let it be this game...

DBZ ultimate battle 22... It's not exactly what i expected, it may have 22 characters with 5 bonus characters but they are badly drawn and the backgrounds are a little messy and whenever you launch a special attack (e.g. Kamehameha) they always look the same, a big ball energy which gets very boring and dull shortly. But the gameplay is good, it's just plain basic fun when you beat the crap out of an opponent and even though this version has the build-up mode, you can get tired quickly when trying to beat 22 characters. The strongpoint of this game is the music but the sounds are strange, you launch an energy ball and this weird sound goes off.
Final bout is defintley worth your money but if your thinking of buying ultimate battle 22, I suggest you rent it first. I'll give this 710.

The game was alright. The graphics were alright. The moves were pretty hard. But if u use an analog stick on the controller, it's not that bad. It doesn't work on the regular, because I got one. But I have a different controller. So, it's not as hard. I gave it an 9 because of the moves were hard as crap with the direction pad and because on the championship tournement mode, it had the man talking Japanese. They should have translated it to English or put English words or somethin like that. But, overall, it was good.

This game is good, if it would have came out last generation. The graphics are ok. The music is good depending on the stage. The only bad thing is that it takes so long to master the moves, but once you remember how to do the KAME-HAME-HA, you'll be ok.

The graphics were classicly 2-d, and I like that about games. The gameplay doesn't hurt, but they should get a story mode at least. Other than that, this game kicked serious butt! I loved the selection of charecters, and the way they have the original japenese voices. The fact that they had buu, super buu, Gotenks,
and S.S.3 Goku blew my mind! I love making classic showdowns between charecters, such as buu against goku, vegeta against goku, buu against gotenks, and others like that. I love this game along with other dbz titles. Nowadays, kids only care about graphics. I think otherwise. I like games I can have a good time with. I also like the classic game music. I just have to say that this game has a good amount of value. The tournaments are very amusing to me, because I like the japenese-voiced announcer and the charecter voices during the battles. This is an almost all-around good game. Other downsides include th energy balls, which are orange, look exactley like the Ka-Me-Ha-Me-Ha wave , which is blueish-white. I also think that you shouldn't get bigger when you fly upwards into the air while the opponent is still on the ground. I hoped you liked my review!

on the other hand this game is the best. the moves are cool i meen gotenks turn super sajin three isnt that cool. And for all those people who think this game is rubbish i say you dont have any game sense at all. goku is cool so is vegeta hes cool so is mjiin boo. I love this game! The graphics r good considering its a 1995 game. The gameplay isn't bad and the controls r very easy. For all u guys that only play games for graphics and nothing else u r IDIOTS!!! If the graphics aren't good, so what, the game can make up for it in gameplay, controls, and fun factor.(which by the way this game is like the most fun game i have ever played.) I have to admit i don't like the music, but besides that the game is one of the best ever played, and im stickin by it. I was going to give the game a 9 since i don't like the music, but that is not a good enough reason to take a star off of my review. This game is one of the ultimate fighting games. Also, u can play this game for like 3 hours straifght and not get bored. (believe me I've done it.) This is an awesomely cool game and is definitely right up there with budokai and budokai2. I suggest that for anyone who even remoteley likes fighting games should buy this, and not even think twice about renting it.

I think that Dragonball Z Ultimate Battle 22 is the best game out of all other DBZ and DBGT games! The graphics are better than the other two, great selections of characters that are very closely replicated. The moves are a little bit slow but still has a great impact on the player's enjoyment of the game. If you had to get one Dragonball Game get Dragonball Z Ultimate Battle 22.

Well, this game is very good and when you enter the code for the other fighters it becomes better. I don't think it is better then Final Bout, but it still is a great DBZ game. If you are a DBZ fan you should buy this one.

UB22 is great its moves are cool and so are the graphics good to but the game is a slow. GT Final bout is just as good but a little faster.they both are like the show but GT Final bout is a little better than UB22

THis happens to be one of the fastest games out of all the dbz games. It Has 22 characters, 5 bonus character if u put a code in.The gameplay is great! it is easy to learn the moves and meteo attacks. Like for instance. Goku when he does his attack the Kamehameha! all u have to do is press acouple of buttons and your set!. IT has a very good story mode. before ever battle the character has there own taunt to do to thier own oppenent. So you can see who your going up against.UB22 is a greatgame. i give it a 9/10.

when i first played on dragonballz i thought it would be really cool and it was. i nearly completed it with marjin buu, now i am just building up buu so i can complete all the levels.some of the players have really good moves and some don't but i still think it is really cool.

When I first heard about this game I was begging my parrents to get it for me. Then I got it one day after my b-day. It took me a while to put the code in but it works. The finnisher moves for the fighters are very hard for me to do. But the other moves are easy. The main thing that I think is bad about this game is that its graphics SUCK and so does the controlling.

When i played this i thought,"Dude,its 2-d its gonna be gay",but when I played it i freaked.I couldent put it down.If you play it watch out for litle Trunks he kicks ass.The game has so many characters,I think it has the most chacters than any other game.You can play story mode and fight everyone or you can play tournament which is really fun.If you look around you can find this code for it that lets you unlock Gogeta,Chibi Goku,SSJ3 Goku,and Master Roshi.The game gets even more fun when you play with all the characters.I give his game a 10 out of 10 because its one of the best DBZ games i have ever played.You should play Dragon Ball Z Legends too thats even better.

the graphics are a bit harsh, and the moves are to use, but its really awsome when you get goood at it. the only reason I play it is because of build of build up mode, where you can get to level 255!you can also battle your character that you have built up against a friends, to see who has the best techniqe and strength.

I just bought the game today. I think the graphics are alright for it's time. The gameplay is awesome. The sound and stuff is good. Build up mode is fun. Me and my friends played it for hours. The moves are really hard to master, but it's fun anyways. Once you start playing you will get addicted, especialy if get good at moves. This is a must buy for any Dragonball Z fan, or for any fighting game fan.

I bought this game mostly for the choice of characters,when i played as zarbon i was amazed at how fast he was.one problem was the look of the kamehame-ha,instead of being a huge blue blast (like on tv)it's a measly little orange one.my fave character on the game is Super Trunks,his terminal assault move is brilliant. only bye this game if your a die hard dbz fan.

This game is okay because it has a lot of characters (over 27} and they give you a code in the booklet for SS3 Goku, Vegito, Master Rushi, Kid Goku, and Hercule. The sound is like any other game and the graphics are the same for any PS1 game exept the characters witch are 2-D and look like Super Nintendo games do. When you throw somebody or when Supreme Kai picks you up and slams you down a few times it looks dumb. I don't like how you can't pick the levels and they don't have a story mode but when you beat the game it shows in the credits Poolom and Plum or how ever you spell their names and you can't unlock them with the cheat in the booklet. Over all this game is decent.
