This game is a really good game in some respects but what lets it down is the almost impossible to do special moves like Kamehameha, the combinations are too complicated and hard to do and when you press them right it wont work because you havent done it fast enough. But besides that its great because of the huge variety of characters including 7 hidden characters.

I think the game all and all is pretty cool. So the graphics look like some thing my girl freind drew so what, $#< remove me > at ! I use to play natarie(bad spellin' ye ha) so anything is better than that. A large amount of characters to choice from including Master Roshie $#< remove me > at ! you can't beat that. The music is a video games audio clip that repeats but what video game isn't, it's not like the game is on 2Pac's new cd $#< remove me > at ! give it a brake. It might not be a game you play every day but it is fun to fly up when your friend shuts a blast and is out of breath you pop his weak ass in the head with a Kamahama.If you like old games get it

Don't ever buy this game if you don't already have because the graphics suck and you can't turn super saiyan you start as him.
there might be a lot of characters but that's mostly because you have to pick super saiyans singley. The characters look like pieces of paper. the code book gives you a code to get new characters, how gay is that. well, this game is gay and you shouldn't buy it because it's a waste of fifty dollars. in fact, it was eighty dollars until it was brought down yesterday. Yeah, it's from japan and the chinese who look just like them rock at dodgeball so they were too busy doing that so they just cut out some pieces of paper and glued them onto the tv. then they sold that piece of crap.

Ok first, this game is boring as watching paint dry off a wall. The graphics suck! The fighting sucks! The voices suck! Everything about this awfull game sucks! When I first got this I thought it was gonna be cool(boy was I wrong). I came home and played for 5 minutes and realize how stupid this game was. Even the tittle sucks. Dragonball Z Ultimate Battle 22 is a game to waste money on. If you have spare cash and was thinking of getting this game, then you just plan dumb like me. Theres nothing fun about this game. I rather shove my thumb up my ass then play this game again. The only good dragonball Z game out there would have to be Hyper Dimension. The fighting kick ass and the voices sorda do to. But please, and please dont waste your money on something so stupid like ultimate battle 22. Spend it on candy or something. What ever you do, dont get this game. I'll write it again. DOT GET THIS GAME!!! I think i almost written 200 words now. Um ya, dont get this game. Graphics 2, Sound 1, gameplay 1, ect. The controlls for this game also suck to. Theres only three buttoms you use for the whole intire game.

The game is fast and action-packed....however Dragonball X is still slightly more playable mainly becuase there are less characters....however this game still has its upper points, namely incredibly powerful new opponents and nicer backgrounds...all in all this is a highly recommended game for old or newcomers alike...

This game is one of my favorite DBZ/DBGT this game makes you want to sit there all day and play over and over. I like that the fact you cant get bored to quickly becuase of all the characters you can choose and theres up to 27 fighters you can even play ass SSJ3 Goku/ Chibi Goku from Dragonball/ Mr.Satan or Hurcule and the Master himself Master Roshi.

Definately yes. Although the 3-d backgrounds are very messed up according to the 2-d characters, UB is still the best in it's class of DB fighting games.
Everybody can laearn how to play UB very quickly, and easy. The controls are very easy to confirm and remember.
In the beginning, I was very excited about the Build-Up mode. But after all, it didn't turn out to be a good mode. It becomes boring very quickly. I didn't even possess the game myself and I was the first one out of 7 players who had a character with it's max level: a 125 Android #18.
No, I prefer the Tournament section. You can punch computers and other players to crud there and you recieve honor if you win. I also was the first one out of 7 players to win a tournament playing with who I simply call the best: Tenshinhan.
The games'graphics are very cool and good looking, and the voices and sounds are great too! The voices are even the same as the real, original Japanese voices of all the characters!(in the series, I mean.)
And of course there are characters I like, and characters I greatly dislike, but I like Tenshinhan, Kuririn and #18 the best of them all.

this game is awsome ,i mean it!...Althought Greatest ledgends is a great game,it SUX.Al you do is the same hits...but the story mode rocks.The nglish game is sweet but i give it a 6.DBZ UB22 is the best cuz you get bebi gokou,great sayman,and more great characters....If you get this game,you wont want to quit!!

The game over all is good. The graphics are in great 2-D form. And the varity of characters is great. you can pick anyone from Mr.Saten to Zarbon. You can make the game Ultimate battle 27 with a code(mr.saten is one of the secret characters along with little goku MasterRoshie Gogeta and SSJ3 Goku). I liked the amount of life span that they give you, you get 2 colors green and yellow which is more than enough for a player with skill but you get it just in case you mess up in an attack. I also like the way each fighter has his\her's own unique special power(my brother loves gotenks'ghost kimezie attack. I also Like the dialog before the match but the way they are drawn is kinda weird for example Vegeta is a good character in battle but in the dialog he looks pretty weird(like an orangutan:>.The game play is good fast and fun.

Plenty of characters to choose from and the controling is pretty good itself. So, um, yeah best game out there and i recomed it for all oyu other die hard dragonball z fans out there

let me start off by telling u the good parts of this game. You get to play with 35 characters! I'd give the grphic a 4 because it's in 2d like on the tv show. This game has 3 or 5 modes, I can't really remember.one of them is build up. This one is fun. Tournament is also fun , u can choose who should be in the tournament. graphics 4.0 sound 4.5 gameplay 5.0 lifespan If u are a dbz fan u should get the game!

I received this game a few months ago after reading many reviews from people who say its 'boring' and 'lame' but when I played this game I laughed out of my socks as Mr. Satan dropped bombs on himself and as Gotenks and Gogeta laughed at their fallen appodent. Dragonball: Final Bout was also a good game but this one is by far the best! Hard controles but all for the fun! I enjoyed this game by fighting characters from saga to saga like a real TV show battle to get the best bits of it! My advice is PLAY THE GAME ON RENT FIRST just incase you want Final Bout instead!

I just bought this game recently and have to say I'm impressed. Some people have said that this game sucks but even 2-D graphics can sometimes be good. I also have GT Final Bout, but because of the many characters in this game I have to say that this one is the best. Don't even rent it, just buy it! That's how great it is.

Even more better than DBZ Budokai.The game has good sounds,good characters, but the worst thing is the graphics that's all that's bad.The game also has a WHOLE LOT of characters.This game was asume!!!!I liked the game if you want this game you can get it at the mall that's where I got it!

Ok first off i'm here to say screw off to all thse who complained about the games graphics what can you expect first it's a ps1 game and 2 the game is like 3 or 4 years old it was just recently translated so i'm sure for it's time the graphics were good. I haven't actually played it yet i bought it today and can't wait to get home and play it. just reading through the instruction manual make the game look like the type of game that will please hard core fans like my-self. so i give the game 10 stars even though i haven't played it

I first got this gane yesterday then started to play it. It was sucky when I first started to play it but then my friend and I started playing Build Up mode and keep playing until it was 4:49 in the morning. This game is awesome and all the guys who said this game sucks arn't true DBZ fans and need to start playing a game that they can actually understand like Pokemon blue. Bottom line get it and you wont be sorry! For 20.00 this game is tottaly awesome and don't just quit when you can't win at first just keep trying then you could kick some real < remove me > at $$ with 22 or even 27 DBZ Characters.

It's a good game with nice 2d Graphics and the fighting is like that of the Early DBZ SNES releases. The Big annoyance is the "Vegeto" "Gogeta" mix up but at least they got the Fusion right just wrong result. The game has good playability for beginners but mastering combos is challenging even for experts so thats a big thumbs up on my part. This game will be a favorite for players for a long time lets just hope DBGT will provide some more good games in the future.
