Its a kick butt game but i'd have to say that i'm sure boudokai will be better. the graphics are so so but if you are extremely obsessed like me you'll love it anyway! I think SSJ2 Gohan should have Ultra Kamehameha Since that was what he basically beat Cell with right? And the button pattern on this game is confusing I still haven't been able to do any of the attacks. other than that its a good game and all fans should give it a try.The voices are in Japaneese so they sound intresting, but nithing I haven't heard before. I can't seem to type in the code for the extra characters so thats why I gave it a nine.

this game is really cool. the graphics arent too great but you get used to them. i can only think of two other downsides, 1.the people sound like mice when they attack. 2. they should make the attacks look better, overall if you like DBZ buy it! and if you don't like dbz, well i dont know what to say, except for BUY IT!

ican enjoy the game but when i comes down to the moves i just can,t get it down pat it,s real hard but trunk(teen age/grown up) is the easest of all. so that is why igive this game a nine out of ten because everything about this game rocks xcept the totally LAME specials

This game is pretty tight i guess. The graphics kinda suck but what do you expect from a playstation game. The music is kind of funky but it also fits the game pretty well at the same time. In the beginning, don't be ashamed that you can't do any moves besides kick, punch, fly, and fire. The moves are pretty hard to master but when you master them, you'll like them. I mean i had to practice an hour to master it and it hurt my thumb for the first day. On the second day, since i got better, my thumb hurt less and less. You do the moves kind of the same i mean if you master one of them, you master all of them. Example: Kamahamaha: back,down, forward, and circle. The cheat does work but you have press it in very fast and i mean very fast!!! The characters all have 1 special move that is very hard to master like tien for example turns into 2 and attach you. I only know that supreme kai's special move is down,forward,up,back and circle. The move is when he slings you up and down and then blows you up. it does a fair amount of damage for a special move, but it wastes only 1/4 of his energy. it might take you a few tries to actually do it though. If you play it with a friend, you'll really like it. If not, then you have to be a dragonball friend to like it.

Surely, Dragonball fans are attracted to this game as flys are attracted to-... Well, You know what I mean. I must admit, I did buy this game being the dragonball fan that I am. And I must say this, This game is absolutly horrible. Sure, You can use other Characters you cannot on DBGTFB or Budokai. And That is the only reason why it's getting a three. That game has Hard to do moves, Not easy at all. You'll end up with blisters on your fingers before you get a move off. And, Not only is that fustrating enough. The Game itself is fustrating.. AND!! On top of that... Gogeta was named Vegetto. ... ... That annoys me to no end. The Graphics and sound hey, they aren't bad at all. It's just the gameplay and the 'Vegetto' thing that is urking enough. If You must play it... Rent it. Do not buy it first... If you are a DB fan and adding it to your collection. Go for it. But a gamer that wants a good fighting game. UB22 isn't the game for that. Honestly, If you want better... Go play Street Fighter II. Don't waste your money or time on this game. It will only leave you frustated to no end... And wishing you didn't waste that money on this trash... And Saved it up for something else. Like Budokai or Dragonball GT Final Bout. And I add, Why play a Frustrating game, When You can play a FUN game. Like those two.. Or rather Three I listed above. Really, the reason why I gave this horrid game a three.. Was because, One Star, I like Dragonball, Two stars for the major cast of characters. And That is it. That's all I have to say about this game. As the say... "That is my story and I'm stickin' to it!"

I just got it today, and I must say, I'm not really happy. First off, the grafics kinda suck, the fighters are kind of slow, the techniques that I've seen the com do are not that great, and overall, I don't think it's woth the $20 I paid for it. However, I guess I'll give it another try, but I reccomend to anyone thinking of buying it to play it with a friend who has it before you buy it.

This game was alright. The combos are really hard...... i got blisters trying to do them. If you like DBZ then you will like this game. The graphics suck but i mean at least they look likem a little bit. I don't like how they are already transfromed(i.e. Goku super sayjin,Gohan... etc).But yeah it gets kind of fun. I haven't played it with a friend yet but i know it will get to be more fun with 2, or 3,or 4, or even all the way to 8 people playing!!! It's not really owrth the $20 i spent on it but it is enjoyable. Oh yeah the other thing that sucked on this was that they have Vegeto as a character but he looks like Gogeta, so that was a dumb typo thingy. Any ways Have fun and master your character (me i like Gotenks and Gogeta the best. they got the best moves)!!

Anyone at all who says this game is good and gives it 10 needs thier head sorting out.
The graphics suck, look at the BG's and then the stupid Famicon-like sprites, they don't mix, at all, it looks rubbish. The graphics,(even for them days) are so bad, I couldn't stand playing this. Ever play Dragonball Final Bout? Ever felt how bad it is? It owns this, thats how bad this game is.
Most people say its good becase there hardcore DBZ fans who cannot say something bad about DBZ, I'm a DBZ fan myself, but i found myself wanting my money back within 30 seconds of play.
The ki blasts or special attacks (Kamehameha ect) are so crap, there all the same, since when has Kamehameha been a ball? Yay! You can fly on this game! ... Wait, flying is exatcly the same as walking, exept you can doge an enemy attack while doing so... wow. Its not flying, itd pressing triangle and getting a new background.
Anyway bottom line, this game sucks ASS. Go and buy Budokai 3, PLEASE, why get this when you can have so much more fun on B3? Anywho, don't buy this game, time out of your lfie will be wasted because of it.

this game socks because non of the instracktions even work.In the little booklet where it tells the attaks 4 the caractar doesnt work eather the muzik socks and the grafik socks if i were u i wouldnt even bother wasting your money on it. but there is some good thing like you get 22 careckters (but it doesnt mater because u cant use any attacks like kamehame ha and speshiol beam cannon).but there is also more good things but you will probobly figer it out.there is onely one attack that i figerd out so far and that is kamehame ha (squre four times and o)well i gust got the game so mabey i will figer out more different moves and if some one reeds this and knows more moves plz write them down on here.to me this game is like garbage it just a waset of 20$.but if you think you will like it go ahed and by it and if you like it dont play it to much but i dont think you will because it is the worst game i have evr seen in my life because nothing even works.it even said you can get 5 extra caracktars (master roshi,kid goku supersaiyan 3 goku vegeto and hercule)by pressing up triange down x left L1 right and R1.

This game is Ok for the first few days then it gets plain corny and annoying. I mean Gotenks can just keep doing victory cannon which does like 750 dmg out of 3000 and just by pressing -->O.
I wouldnt recomend this game unless U R THE BIGGEST DBZ MORON IF U JUST BUY IT RIGHT AWAY.Rent the game first but i really dont reccomend this game and if u dont believe me then play it and then you will be screaming at the screen because it is boringly hard it is and how annoying the blisters on ur fingers for playing by spinning the anolog stick for doing certain atks are so dont buy first just rent.And this game has the worst graphics and movement because the people look like paper and u move to dang slow.And in story mode it has a game board way to do the game and the storyline is really kindof wrong so dont play if u want to find out the buu saga.Im only giving it 2 stars because 1 its a dragon ball game and 2 it shows gotenks Gogeta(or Veggeto).TRUST ME RENT FIRST DONT BUY IT RIGHT WHEN UR STUPIS LITTLE EYES SEE IT!!!

I think this game has the worst graphics i have ever saw in my life and i cant even understand what that gay refere is aying all it is is bla bla bla bla bla goku bla bla bla vegeta i like dragon ball z dont get me wrong its just on the chermeical the game looked like a 10/10 but it was really a 1/10 not even it should get a 0/10 but it is 1/10 well if you or your brother like dbz dont get the game you are just wasting your time and money. the graphics are so bad that i dont even know why the guy who made it put it out he should be enbaraced that he made shuch a crapy game after a game such a that othe dbz game came out for some reson i can not figure out how to do the moves the directions are confusing i do not understand them it says barstick and then they show a way if some one can tell me how to do this i might actually like the game a littel bitt better.

I think this game was very fun and not a four game you buy and get tired of the graphics were nice for 2d but could of did better in 3D but graphics arent really nothing look at nintendo and they had som phat games its all about the GAME PLAY anyway in my opinion. I like how theres alot of characters in the game they even put in Zarbon! My favorite is Gogeta though because he has my 2 favorite characters in 1 but everyone else is great so if you love DragonballZ get this game.

just finished the game in 1 week and still im addicted to playing this dbz game. best game for dbz fanatics around the world. bad graphics but the whole game backs it up, i give this game 2 thubms up. I had this game burned for my psx and i did all cheats like ub27 and it made the game even better.I played budakai and it has good graphics but the fighting style in that game is not as good as the dbz ub 22.

I can't even begin where to start on this horrible game. Bad, BAD music and even worse dubbing! The moves are to complicated, there are not enough modes. Just about the only good thing about this game is the wide-range of characters it has to offer. It's a waste of time, money, and memory card space for that matter. I don't know, I play it about once every..... two months. This is by far one of the worst games I have ever played in my life. This game is also right there with Crash Bash, which is also the kind of crap this game delivers. It has really, really bad game play, the graphics are one of the worst ever, and the stages stink. The controls are too complicated and it takes way too long to load. Don't waste you're money, time, and memory card space on this game folks, this game is a rotten egg cracked open and shoved up you're nose. This is a gruel and butter sandwich stuffed down you're throat and left unchewed and rock-solid in you're stomach. Over-all, this game is about as much fun as a poke in the eye. Yes, I'm done and I am sorry to those I offended who think that this worthless piece of work is even considered a game.

Whats up with that? Gogeta's name reads Vegeto? I thought It was gonna be Vegeto but Gogeta is my favorite of the fusions! I wanted to import the japanese version but my parents wouldn't let me. When I saw it was coming over here I drooled! I read the manual and it told me about Vegeto. When I unlocked all 7 characters I saw Gogeta and I drooled again since he's my favorite fusion of all time.

this game is not a good fighting game but if your a dbz fan then get it cause this has from kid Goku to super buu and the attacks are awsome and voices a ther kinda dumb but its cool and another cool thing is that thy give you a code to unlock exstra characters and two more thing is the graphics are kindda dumb and the attacks are hard to use but besides all of that its a cool game.

I love the wide range of charactors and attacks,both hand-to-hand and energy.I don't care that the energy balls look like fireballs,I think that in a way that it looks kinda cool.My favorite caracters are Dabura,all three of the Goku caractors,and Vegeta.I would recamend this game to every dragon ball z fan that would respect it.

The game is tight but where is Mystic Gohan and kid buu is there something i missed? Im sitting here trying to beat the game i mean it shows him and kid buu on the cover my god sorry i get mad at some games and this one website said u can unlock them somehow but i forgot the website. Has anyone played Dbz hyper dimension now that game kicks ultimate battle 22 graphics butt hard man and the story mode is a pain in the butt though, My friend let me borrow it for a day or two and i was hooked on that game.
