This game sucks....graphics,sound,and there is no story line. But still if you get this game try your hardest to go far in it. Why beacuse people who give it a 1 got lazy and decided not to try. People who gave it a 10 played it all the way. I have almost beaten it it is fun but graphic,sound, and every thing else......sucks BIG time

Tis game is pretty good.The moves are pretty hard but you get the hand of it eventually.One bad thing is the way it sounds.Me and my friends played for hours wed pick a charecter and build them up and then batle.I dont recommend buying probably just rent it.

i mean its tight and all but its the fact that the graphics are bad and that england and japan are so far ahead of us that they have prolly finished GT by now and into AF, another thing is i cant find anywhere how to use half and quatar circle buttons so the information is limited on the internet, but over all its not the best game i have ever played in the world but it is ok. i just wish that they would have more info available on the game so it would make it easier to do the moves

As a dbz fan i felt sick playing this game. The graphics were, well if you could call them graphics, extremely poor, I could barely make out the chracacters on the screen they were like small blurry bits of rubbish. They decided that ki attacks should look like fireballs which they should not and they also decided to put the game in slow motion or atleast thats what it seemed like. The only good things about this game was the music and the choice of characters. If is wasnt for these two things then this game wouldnt even be considered a game in my eyes. I personally cant believe they were allowed to release this game. If your a dbz fan then you might just get some kind of enjoyment from the fact that it has some of the better characters in it like goten, trunks, buu and gotenks but other than that this game has no purpose in even exsisting. It was luck that I got a refundon this game or I would have burnt it to stop any other poor soul from ever playin it again. PLease dont even consider buying this game as it is a waste of money and has no entertainment value what so ever. Thankyou

The reason that I think it isn't all that great is that it is a little bit too hard too do most of the moves people have. I wish it had better graphics, and there wasn't really a story mode. this games also has too many bad characters. The is also way too easy. My favorite character in this game was Vegeto.
Faulties are really great in this game. This is what I really think about the game.

O, please this game sucks theres no damn story mode i wasted a good 3 bucks to rent it it may not seem like much but its like taking three bucks and tearing em up grinding em into dust and throwing them down a waterfall this game is sucky they made the biggest mistake boudakai is good monster rancher is good and all that when I saw this game i thought it would be good to rent but all I got was lamb stupid screwed idiotic and what else not modified everything why did they make it when i went to shoot with gohan on my ps2 i put it in and playstation gohan went kamahama and it went like a a inch every 2 seconds it took him like 5 - 8 seconds to hit vegeta and like 10 minutes to make them jump and goku and vegeta already super saiyan and its a waste of money dont rent this game if you do look at it ask people and think twice if you hate it i told you you just wasted 5$ if you like it o well then your different from most people most people hate this game overall i rate this game a big fat ugly 1 please take my opinion and look lots of people rate this game 1/10 so you probley should not get this game look at opinions and details of the game first and see if it suits you well all I know is it did not suit me one crack lickin bit.......

AGGG, this game should burst in flames for all I care... I even wish that a self- detenation button was included so it would save me the time for buying matches. Ik, I know software writers can do better than this, but hey, idiots are idiots, but DBZ should not fall into the hands of 3yr olds wanting to make a slow, sucky combo, worthless game for sheer 3 min emjoyment. Listen to me, this game IS NOT WORTH BUYING AND SHOULD BE OVERLOOKED IF AT ALL POSSIABLE DUE TO THE SORRY GRAPHIC NATURE OF THIS GAME. Good luck at trying to relate to the backgrounds and the gameplay also. The backgrounds suck, the sound sucks, the gameplay sucks, hmmmmmmm and did I mention the GAME SUCKS?
Well, buy it if your a DIE HARD fan, and when you play this game I think you will die because It isn't much a site to look at, I mean the game might have been better if the PS2 console took hold of it and shot the previous software writers but hey, thats my opinion. And for a last thought, I think they made this game for a last ditch effort to sucker little children into buying a so called "GREAT GAME"........ yeah right, how sadistic......

mmmmm ok this game is really good, i like the fact that the characters that you have to unlock are actually worth unlocking. like kid goku ya know. in other games the characters you have to unlock are just characters that you see like all the time, like hercule or cell in budokai! Alos the grphics on the CHARACTERS are pretty decent but the backround is nothing to cheer about.... personally i think that budokai could be on th ps one but eh whatcha gonna do? the game IS a little slow (unless you know how to do those kikcs butt combos!!) tis a little hard to learn but overall i think its pretty good...oh and the resaon i thnk budokai could be on ps one is because of its graphics! i mean comeon thats sucky compared to what other ps 2 games have!

Ok first of all the game is great and I don't go for graphics unless it looks like a pac man game but there's so many differnt characters to choose from and you can get character that you couldn't get from other DBZ games but the backgrounds kinda suck and so does the music but I like the game one of the best fighting games i've played and the game isn't easy to beat but who buys a expensize game and beats it in a hour and there's nothing more to do thats why i like this game there so much to do I would think all DBZ fans would get this game casue it's the frigging best game there is

O, please this game is lamb there aint even a dang story mode thats what I love about games this game sucks all you do is fight other people its boring without another person the graphics suck... but blame The people that made it they screwed up o well I hope they make number 2 better if there is a number 2 then 3...... This game is a disgrace I Rate this game 2/10

i think that ub22 is a cool game, but to say that i love it, no first the game is more arcade than simulation, i mean that u just battle, that's all, not even a story mode.and it was recently re-released, that's where bought it, here's the part that dissapoints me most: in the first released game, u had a video clip of the characters before u battled, now it's gone, when u fight a battle also in the series, there was shown a clip of the series, like gohan vs cell. that's gone too. i remeber this 'cuz i played the game 6 years ago at a japanese friend's house(his game was entirely in japanese). now the good parts of the game : the graphics are very good, i must say, i especially like it cuz it's in 2D, like in the series, but i don't care about the background being in 3D, who cares?? people say that very often, they also say that the fireballs suck, WHO CARES??? if they dislike the details, that means they don't want a fighting game, they just want a pretty one, how lame. another good thing are the characters, so many, that's very cool,
but if they had given the characters a few more moves( like in superbotuden2), that would have been great, and if they had added a story mode, it would it have been the bomb. so if u are u dbz fan , get this game, and don't go off looking at the details like the 2D characters in a 3D background,or crappy fireballs, cuz if u do, u will hate this game.if u are a fan, get it , if u aren't don't get it, cuz if u don't have a clue of what dbz is, ub22 is the worst fighting game for u, not for the fans though

The first time i started to play dragon ball Ultimate Battle 22 i was happy, The game play was aight but really it had the 2D Graphics that sucked i little bit. tryin ta look like it's 3D graphics. The Music on the game was soooooooo dang boring and weak that i had to tune the volume off just to play the game but they did have one stage music that was good but that was only on Kamies look out point Stange fighting Gotenks and on the roof top stage when you fight against Gohan when he dressed up lookin like a broke superhero wit tv antennas sticken out his helmet. And They messed up on frezza's look. He walkin around wit his arms open like he need a hug. And one thing that was really messed up and the main reason i got rid the game Is that the The Japanese version type of Dragon ball Z is Disgusting. You can tell the the maker of Dragon Ball Z was most likly a fool. In the Japanese version type of Dragon ball Z They have characters in there having the name Satan and God but in the American version they wouldn't have it in their Animation of DBZ So they change the name MR.Satan to Hercual and they changed they other one from God to some other name but Dragonball Z Ultimate Battle 22 has the Japanese version type of Dragon ball Z. I have seen the Japanese version type of Dragon ball Z they had a whole stadium chanting SATAN! SATAN! SATAN! in the Martial arts tournament. And the game play of Dragonball Z Ultimate Battle 22 isn'r good really. This game is really made for DBZ fanatics. Only they can see this game as hard, tight , and whatever esle etc. This game isn't all that good , don't fooled bye thr reviews. I HAVE SEEN WAY BETTER FIGHTING GAMES. so save your money and buy somethin worth the Cash Money

This game looked pretty cool to me at first, it had all the things i wanted in a dbz game. i had already long known about the game from the internet and was excited to finally get my hands on it here without importing it. the fighting engine is somewhat similar to a capcom fighting game only very watered down. if you have played through a couple street fighters you wont find anything terribly exciting in this game. it can keep u entertained for awhile just because you get to see some of your favorite dbz characters duking it out. graphically the game is below average even for the playstation era. the backgrounds try to add some sort of 3d flavor to the game but are pretty empty in most stages. the characters look pretty good, about as nice as you would expect from the time this game was made. while maybe not up to the quality of later playstation games it still is easy to tell which character is which. many people ive heard complain aboutt he game being 2d it is that way because at the time the 2d fighting games were much superior to any 3d fighting game at the time. 2d gamin is classic and it is great to get some of this old school feel back into my daily gaming but it definetely should have been better. the sound isnt as dissapointing as many have said. the music is pretty quiet for the most part and the voices are all the actual japanese voice actors which makes it feel more real to a die hard dbz fan. the game will busy for quite some time with its build up mode but it offers no story mode which in my view is a major let down. until dragonball final bout is rereleased you should at least check this out i mean it is only 20 dollars anyway so you wont miss the cash all that much. of course if your looking for a real dragonball game it may be best to wait the coming announcments of the new dbz games from activision or pick up budokai which is another average game but on a more powerful piece of hardware so all you graphic freaks can get ur fi of good looking 3d gaming there. i guess the bet way to sum all this up is i bought the game 4 days ago played it quite a bit and ive pretty much done all there is to do besides make characters stronger which gets old fast but while it lasts it can be a fun little game.

This game is not very good. The graphics are awful and the controls could be better. About the only thing good about it is the wide variety of characters. But,it is pretty cool you can get Vegito and super saiyan 3 Goku.Also, it lacks a story mode which stinks. The music is sorry,the character's voices are very bad. All the characters sound like they are babies except cell and vegito. I would not buy this game for over $20.00. If you want a better game buy dragonball z legeends or dragonball gt final bout. If you have a ps2 get Dragonball z Budokai it is very cool.

When I saw UB22 in my local store, I thought Oh my god! I need it! So I purchased it and eagerly drove back to my house anxious to play it on my Ps2. What did I get? A average game. I tried it out playing as Goku and I lost the first million times and it was on easy! But then as I played I got better and better. I think the graphics are a total let down! The sound sounded like the actual japanese voices which is awesome! The gameplay isnt so great anyways unless your playing Bulid up mode. The originality is good considering the graphics looks 2D and the show. I still think its a okay average game. Major improvements to the graphics would raise my score dramatically but right now its staying a 7.

The graphics are good besides the backgrounds that are horrible. This game has the original voice actors from the japanese show. The game play may take a while to get use to, but once you get them down, than this game is a no brainer. It is a fun game. The only problem is the one player mode. It is only the computer choosing fighters for you to fight randomly. No story mode. Modes like tournament, build-up, and build-up battle are entertaining. I would just buy it. It's only 20 bucks.

Ill start out with the good stuff.The amount of
character selections is much more than excelent.There is a ss3goku but it does not beat final bouts ss4goku. The build up mode is pretty fun. Now the thing I don't like is the fact that all the sayans have to be in ss mode. I dont like that when 2 energy balls hit each other they just disaper not like in the show. Above all its pretty awsome but if you have ps2 go for budakia.
