Red Alert allows you to perform the most amazing tactics in the a large variety of way, even though the game is now lacking in graphics it still beets the new C&C generals/tiberian sun/RA2.
However the game needs to be remade so that its made compatible with new technology, e.g. LAN games.
Does anybody know where i might find a patch, or hosting software that will allow me to run RA in my LAN.

This game is the best, I.D.S.T |
| Allied Expert, Soviet Threat! from London,England says (1/Feb/2003): |
The first time I saw this game in my PSX magazine I said "Thats the game im getting next". Then I played the origonal C&C on the PC at my mates house and I thought "This game is great!". Then I got Red Alert....."Oh my god this game ROCKS" The graphics are good for the PSone, the music is naff but the explosions are the great. Also the controls are a great remake of the PC version. And once you have finished the BOTH discs youve still got Skirmish to play for ages to come. If you cant get C&C Generals GET THIS NOW.

Stratigy at it's best! |
| Ken from Victoria, Australia says (28/Dec/2002): |
Red Alert is one of the best stratigy games ever made. It's old now but I still like it because you can play for hours then finally beet the opponant then feel great about it. I love it for everything it has in it. The second Red Alert looks hard so I haven't attempted it yet but I will soon to see if it is a good as the first. The only problem I see with Red Alert is it hurts your eyes if you play on it for a long time and the graphics are a bit "boxy" if that's a word. My favourite unit so far is the spy. In multi-player he looks like your own guy. He can infultrate a building and tell u stuff about the enemy like: Radar= What the opponant is doing. Silo= How much money the opponant has. Barrack= More tech and what soldier they are making. There is probebly more stuff they can tell you but I haven't got any more that I know. A Red Alert game skirmish game can't be queezed into 5 minutes not even 15 minutes. A good Red Alert Game will go for around 2 hours- 3 hours. Be prepared for an addictive and stratigic game that doesn't end till you blow up all the enemy.
This is a good game.

| T-Bone from New York City, USA says (20/Dec/2002): |
Red Alert Comand and Conquer is by far the best game ever made, the strategy you need requires a perfect balance of offense and defense. This game challenges you. I bought this game about 5 years ago and i am still obsessed about it.

Very good, if you like long battles |
| jim from London says (11/Feb/2001): |
I have just finished a 3 hour battle on C&C, what an infuriating game, do I attack the enemy with my 50 units or do I reinforce my base with the money. If you like war games, then this is the game for you, but don`t expect it to be easy, even the `easy` leveles are ridicuosly hard to beat. Don`t start a game unless you have at least 3 hours to spare. Simply a Masterpiece

Comand and Conquer: Red Alert------ May Be Game Of The Year |
| beefy says (8/Aug/2000): |
This release has all the makings of a game that you could spend weeks on end on and not get the least bit tired of. The missions have nonstop action, a great story line, and arent so easy that a day of playing will win. So if yoo're looking for a game, try this one out.
