Fire Pro Wreslteing G dosent even know the true meaning of wreslteing games.I hated it alot because of the stupid HWF music.The 2D graphics look worse than the nes and the sound is anoying and the reviewers tilt is bad.All of the wreslers are fake but you can create real wrestlers and thats awesome.Now the amount of matchs are bad.The main match is the "death match" and its boring and hard.It dosent load that much.I couldent understand it because its all in japanese ether.

| Better Than Most Japan Wrestleing Games | | Andre Client from Canada says (29/Jul/2001): | Im a big fan of these 2D Japan wrestleing games and this is the best one i have played.You can change lots of stuff around.Plus theres create a wrestler which lets you create ANY and i mean ANY wrestler in the world.And theres over 150 wrestlers in this with their own special moves.I got my copy of this from www.therage.com because they dont sell it in canada.If they did it would be a big hit!

And since he or she obviously didn't play the game enough to give a decent review, it's time to actually review this game. I have also played ALL of the other so called "wrestling" games, and compared to this game, they are all crap.
GRAPHICS:(7)The graphics in this game look like a nintendo game, which i prefer over all this 3-d garbage nowadays....i mean come on...there is just way too much of it. These graphics remind(and bring back) the nostalgic feeling of classic gameplay. Sure, the 2-d graphics may turn off some "GAMERS", but at least there is no slowdown or polygon breakup in this game. And do you know why? Because the graphics are 2-d, allows alot of free space to add many other features in the game.
CONTROL:(9,when learned)Excellent once you get the hang of it. No analog support,only digital. But the dual shock feature is supported, however. If you are complaining about the controls in this game, then you are probably just lazy and don't want to learn.
FEDERATIONS:(9)Ok, first of all, no, there is no such thing as 'FWO'. But if "THE GAMER" would've played the game enough, he/she would have discovered that you can RENAME the federations. AND, you can make your own federations and wrestlers. Isn't it nice what you can find if you actually PLAY a game? Ok, now lets now all point and laugh at "THE GAMER" all at once. (Cough Cough.) There are all of the major japanese fed's, wcw is here, along with wwf. In all, there is around a total of 300 wrestlers to choose from, including hiddens, such as Andre the Giant.

CREATE-A-PLAYER:(10)The best create-a-wrestler feature in ANY wrestling game on the market,bar none.Very,very cool.
REALISM:(10)Everything from the animations to the bone-crunching sounds(Literally) are top-notch. This game is VERY realistic..you can break wrestlers' legs , arms, neck..anything. You can also knock a wrestler unconcious(CRITICAL!),and even kill them.Yes,i said Kill.And then you can stab their dead bodies with a fork or a knife, NO KIDDING! VERY FUN! HEHEH.
GAMEPLAY/FUN FACTOR(10):Excellent,top-notch,great. If you are a TRUE wrestling fan like me, you will truly appreciate this game.
FEATURES:4-players at once,death matches,elimination matches,battle royals, tag-team,electric fence,title,octagon(Ultimate fighting),among many other great things to choose from. You can also draw your own ring mat/emblems.
WRESTLERS:Almost any wrestler you can think of is on this game. And, if they aren't, create them using the BEST create-a-wrestler option that i have ever seen.
MUSIC:The music in the game isn't the best,but it works, and i like it anyways. And if the so called "GAMER" knew anything about this game at all, there IS something called an OPTIONS menu where you can turn the music OFF. So stop complaining.
REPLAY VALUE:EXCELLENT! (10)
So, should you buy this game? Well, you certainly shouldn't listen to that "GAMER" Nimrod.Next time,he/she should try to actually REVIEW a game. If you are a true wrestling fanatic, you will not be disappointed this game, i guarantee.
I GLADLY give Fire Pro Wrestling G a score of 10 out of 10.
Play the game and see for yourself. What other "wrestling" game lets you stab people with forks and knives? NONE! Facial expressions, seeing blood run from a cut.... this game is simply...THE BEST. Wrestling fans,get this game NOW!

The music sucks. There's no such thing as FWO. It doesn't have real logos. The death match sucks.
If you want a real good wrestling game go to your nearest Funcoland on August 15, 2000 and buy
