Favorite out of Final Fantasy's ever |

People, it's not about the games graphics or things or magic or whatever. The plot is the most important part of what makes a game a good game. I loved FF7 because of the plot and of course the chocobo's!^o^ But it also made me laugh as well cry, my favorite character I will never be able to use because of the villain. But it was because he was manipulated and twisted into thinking he was the heir of the planet. The main herione sacrificed herself for the world and saved mankind! Aeris and Cloud are the true couple of FF7 whether you like it or not. You have to read and pay more attention to the plot and story if you want to know the true couple. I believe in true coupling even if I don't like it.
If you just play the game for fun then your not a real fan. I play because I put all of my thinking and reading skills to the test, it is a strategy game and got me thinking more than school could. Pay more closely to the story and you'll find yourselves in love with the game. If any of you needs a hand with anything on the game then contact me. I hav competed the game and the best part is when you finish it and the movie comes on. The graphics are crap and the gold chocobo magically floats, no actually runs on top of the water which makes the game no fun. The chocobo should die after 2 steps or sumpin to make you feel all sad and youll hide in your room and pray to god or something that you can get another. red is a dog that is atleast 200 years old and still does more than that stupid spikey haired jerk that is the main character. cloud has nightmares and doesn't know the difference between memories and something he saw on t.v. the fact that they tried to and i emphisise the word tried to make it 3d i should give them credit for but to me this game was about as good as watching barney. i am not telling you to not play it but there are other things you could do with your time like shoot somthing or taking a baseball bat to your teachers head or car either way i'll be happy. the game was simple and the fact that every step is a battle pissed me of. all in all i think this game was ok but not good enough for me.

I don,t care about the graphics I only care about the story. When I first bought the game I didn,t know it would have the legendary sephiroth in it. I fell in love with the story it was about cloud trying to figure out who he was and legandary machines called the weapon awoke to bring chaos and destrction to mankind.Plus magical sages called acients try to open up a land of peace and harmony that nobody has ever been to.There is three different weapons the ultamite weapon and diamond weapon you have to fight but the ultamite weapon stays alive but the diamond weapon will die from good old shinra will take care of him.Also there are two other extremly strong bosses called the emrald weapon and the ruby weapon. The hardest one is the emrald weapon you only have twenty minutes to destroy it unless you have a specail item.When you get the sumbmarine beware of the emrald weapon it will kill you right away with it's attacks. I hope this helps you good luck and good bye.And just for the record you can't bring Aries back to life once sephiroth kills Aeris for good.

Man,as soon as you play this game it is hard to predict and kinda sad.When you get this game or if you already have it you cant stop playing it!!!!!!ITS HIPNOTIZING!!!!!!!!!!! so i just say instead of playing other games get Final Fantasy Vll!!!!!!!!
you will never get bored with it!!! There are 3 discs so the game contiuos on and on and on untill you beat disc three.Thats alot of action and adventure for me,and the graphics are cool on the videos and the map when you leave continets can be a little better but i still give it a 10 out of 10.But besides all of that you need to buy this game,like i said its kinda ssad and kinda hard to predict or tell whats gonna happen.When you fight your use to be companion or team mate 5 years ago named sepheroth it may take a while or if you skilled is still hard but yet easy.I think its hard for me because im fighting strong enemies and all.Im pretty sure you are too,so you should recamend this game 10 out of 10.I have cloud on level 29 right now but im gonna get him on level fifty before i do what i suppose to do.

Final Fantasy VII really changed what I thought about video games. It's the best game in the UNIVERSE!
It took me into a whole new world. I beat it five times over already, and I still can't get enough of it. I think about it 24/7! I know that I'm a bit....odd...but this is the way I think. I am only 13 years old, and I am now a voice actor, all because of Final Fantasy VII!
I also base part of my "Life" on FInal Fantasy VII.
Anyway, the story, the gameplay, the graphics; I love it all!
I love ALL of the characters! But....it's vey easy to get emotionally involved with them. I couldn't stop crying when I witnessed the death of Aeris...
..and I cried the first time I beat Final Fantasy VII..and saw Midgar at the very end...when Red XIII was looking at it's ruins with his two little cubs...
Well, I also now have the looks and personality of Tifa, and that's (against my wishes) my name in school.
I know this all doesn't make sense...
Final Fantasy VII IS AND FOREVER WILL BE the greatest game in the UNIVERSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As RPG player, i like long games with good story line and complex characters and FF 7 is one of the best RPG i played. Of course the graphics aren't good but you have to remember that, when the game was made the conceptors used the best tech they disposed and you can't seriously compare FF7 graphics with new games like FF X, the technology isn't the same. If you play the game till you beat Sephiroth you'll forget about the graphics because the rest of the game aspect(materia system, story line, side quests) make FF 7 one of the best RPG ever made and even now, the newer games can't beat it. The materia system is awesome, specialy if you combine materia like Master Summon materia and HP Absorb or Add Effect materia with Hades materia, or even better if you use Master command materia with Steal as Well materia or HP Absorb.If you judge a game by the graphics it has you miss the essential of what a game is supposed ti do, entertainment. I'll just add this to my comments, if you like good RPG and you don't mind about graphics, FF 7 is a great choice.

is game was great the only real problems was with the sound a storyline the story lines got confusing first u start off as a mersonary helping the AVLELANCH than u start to go aftr Pres Shinra than all of a sudden out of no where sepheroith comes and kills him. as for the graphics thay were kinda good except on the world map cloud looked like a child even thou his 21and they dident even have a mouth . the sound was freaking cool but after a while it got annoying when ur on the 3rd disk all u hear is that same music over and over and over again its gonna piss u off .the fun facter in this game was great no matter how much the music got on my nerve and the graphics pissed me off i dident wont to put the controller down becouse i wonted to see what was gonna happen nextto the charteters and the thing that i loved about this game was the limits like the omislash and the kick < remove me > at $$ villian in sepheroith i remember thinking how cool it would be to cotroll him

To anyone who has never heard of this series.... Where have you been?! Anyone whose, anyone knows of this series. Possibly from its predecessors on NES and SNES. But for those of you who have not tried this game, who felt it has been over shadowed by its off-springs.( FF8 and FF9 ) Your wrong.
No RPGer finds attonment for the same game as another. FF7 is a great way to get a feel for the series, for those who no longer have access to FF1-6.
Final fantasy 7 offers superb graphics, an incredible story. Hidden characters and suprise events that leave the player remembering those events for years to come. ex.( the look on Areis face before she died). Add all that with lush backgrounds, great music, loads of mini games such as snowboarding, and a road rash type motorcycle game. And you then have a game that will please anyone. So for those of you who cannot reach ff1-6 or ff8 & ff9 dont really look too promising to you.... Pick up final fantasy 7 now at a greatest hits price!! Dont miss your chance to own one of the greatest playstation games ever!

Square have succeded in making a really wicked rpg game here, with the brilliant characters and side-quests, i should be saying how perfect it is. but the graphics, musics and the overall idea of materia really sucks. magic stones that come out of the world, and birth while attatched to your weapons? i think square can do better than that. also,the gameplay really slides downhill after u leave midgar. its more fun working for a rebel group blowin things up than huntin a mental freak down. but overall, good game. sqaure rule, yeh. also, has any1 else completed the game? i wont tell u wat happens in case u ahvent, but u r treated to such a wicked FMV! such a shame all the other scenes of normal play couldn't be like that... but as i need to use up 200 words, i guess im goin 2 go on a bit longer....the gold saucer is da best! wish there were more theme parks like that in the world, cuz id pay all the money in the world 2 get in there 4 one day. so if any1 else has any queries about final fantasy VII, e-mail me at gigagravijation< remove me > at hotail.com!

it is the best game I have ever played but for those who want to know who/what the first boss is it is a giant metal scorpion and what out for it's tail because when it goes up don't attack unless you want all your party serverly hurt or get game over. Also try to increase your parties attack and what out for material it is extremely helpful but only equip to party members you are using to battle with and about one quarter throught the game you will get a new partner named red x11(13) a beast type partnerjust incase ill say it again it is the best game I have ever played but for those who want to know who/what the first boss is it is a giant metal scorpion and what out for it's tail because when it goes up don't attack unless you want all your party serverly hurt or get game over. This game can be the greatest game ever to most peaple but, under the surface hides flaws. First of all, I don't find walking to the Inn when your men are weak when all of a sudden a monster attacks you and its game over. Secondly, How come all of the cool players are weak!!?(Vincent, Yuffie, Cait Sith). Third, Some monsters are so strong you have to train for 2 days until you can beat him. But besides those things lies a game with cool FMV's(or whatever you call them), nice gameplay, cool story, and great charectors(even though the real cool ones suck!). This game was great i loved to play it although it leaves you wanting more. This game will always have a place in my heart. I personaly think it should be redone so it looks a little better but i still loved the story. The greatest thing about it in my opinion was the charecters, however i did hate how aeris died that did get on my nerves a little although after her death i used my other people a lot more. Yuffie was a very fun person to get i did enjoy getting her because Yuffie is very entertaining and all the trouble she brings is even more fun! I love that how in the end it shows Red XIII again with kids it was very cute, i do however wish that there was more but just as the saying goes this isn't burger king you can't have it your way. A great game like this needs another game after it WHO IS WITH ME!? Well i guess i can live with the way it ends for now but i will not give up! This game had a very interesting story with it like nothing i had ever heard of before it really gets your attention I MEAN REALLY grabs ya.

final fantasy seven wasn't that great of a game because the storyline was terrible in the game until around the end of the game so you sit there through two discs that are so boring that you can barly stand it and can't stop because you want to see what happens. Then you have the graphics yeah i know it was made in 1997 or somthing but i seen games that were were way better in that time. Did you guys see the monsters in that game they are the worst i mean fighting a machine house that shoots huge bombs from the chimney is pretty gay if you ask me. Ijust don't see how you guys think this was the best final fantasy game ever made if you want to play a good game play final fantasy 10 now that is an great game that doesn't get boring and you don't beat in a day. It has great graphics good storyline and good battle style. the characters features they did a great job on it. the monsters very cool in this game and there not houses that can shoot bombs and sin now that is an awsome monster and the summons to are very cool.

One of the best games, no wait, the best game I've ever played. This game is so fun. Chocobos, gold saucer, monsters, and the most original storyline will keep you playing, well at least it kept me playing. Final fantasy 8 and nine had the card game, but its not as fun as chocobo racing, or riding the roler coster at gold saucer, but that's just my opinion. Everyone complains about the graphics, but hey! it was a 1997 game! But you have to admit, the little squares for hands are pretty funny looking. But the battle sequence graphics are pretty good. I laughed when the flower lady died, f.y.i! lol! This game had a cool storyline. It didn't get dull, it wasn't pointless, and it had an awesome ending! oh and if you just beaten stephiroth keep on watching after the credits, like its not the greatest apple in the pie, but its pretty kewl! Don't forget the hidden characters, I don't really care about yuffie but vincent is kewl! he was a turk yah know lol! I hope you all enjoyed my review! I'll get out of your hair now! :)

I played and completed all the final fantasy game except 1-5. Overall they were all good and very dramatic and exciting. (final fantay9 is too east though) i think final fantasy8 had the best graphics and some good new ideas on magic but final fantasy7 has easily the best story line. It is very dramatic and some may even call it breathe-taking...
Its virtually you unlocking all the pasts about all the characters and they are trying to save the planet. Its not like those usual games which is all smiles and happy through the whole game but can be sad at times. Lots of characters to choose from and slow-learners such as myself may need to complete the game 4-5 times to fully understand the whole game and all those hidden items and places to go :) All in all if you care the most about the graphics i will go for 8 which is also good but final fantasy7 is the best game play in the rpg world. SO GET YOUR BUTT RIGHT INTO THE GAME SHOP AND BUY ONE! I ASSURE YOU, THERE WILL BE NO BOREDOM FOR A LONG TIME.

A really good game. I just find it a little hard, the graphics are poor, and there are no voices, those are my reasons for giving it 7 stars. Also, I love all of Square Soft's (Now Square Enix) games. And I absolutely love the music in this game! What it lacks in graphics, it makes up for in music. If you really listen, the music is absolutely brilliantly comoposed! I would buy the cd in a flash. I really do have alot of fun with this game and I enjoy the character Cloud. He is a great and well thought out character and so the storyline. I was confused a little by the first few hours of gameplay, but then it started to be clear. This was my very first final fantasy game so you can see why I was a little confused, but all is well. ^_^ Yes, this was a really good game in my oppinion. (I have nothing more to say, but this is supposed to be 200 characters so........ yeah, sorry about the spaces folks, nothing I can do about them......Okay... I guess I will just say good game and be done with it?)

First off, I would like to say that this game was a really good one, but it doesn't beat my all time favorite, Final Fantasy VIII. This game had okay graphics for a first time 3-D game of its series. The plot was really good, and the battle sequences/mini movies are awesome! This is what a classic version of Final Fantasy is! It is purely a good game, at least in my opinion. It took me some time to beat this game.... it was worth it. The only dislikes I have are... well I actually have none. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions about this game, or Final Fantasy 8 through 10. I will be glad to assist you in any way I can. Have a good gaming experience everyone! I really recommend that you go and buy/rent a copy of this game, and I guarantee that it will be good. one of the best games squaresoft has ever made.the storyline is great and the charecters kick butt.the new materia and the gold saucer are a great new area.the new american weapons are some of the most hardest bosses ever.i hope many people can play this game.the graphics are not the best but i hope you will all enjoy it.the music is pretty solid but the Sepheroth song at the end kicks butt.the graphics in final fantasy 6 are like Super Mario compared to this.cloud is a great main character and the new weapons are awesome.
for story line i give this game a 7.for graphics i give it a 6 and a half.for originality i give it an 8.for characters i give it 9 and a half.for over all i give it 10.this game is a great over all game.i hope it will rise above all others.the thing i don't get is that they call it mako instead of gaia.they called it gaia in some of the others.well,this game is one of squaresofts best.i hope you buy a copy.this game is usually cheap.

It's very good indeed, fun,exciting,cool and overall is freakin' fun I loved it it was just an amazing adventure. But some say that chrono cross is better some say ff8 is better some say legend of dragoon is better. The truth is they are all fun. If you are a casual rpg gamer than stop yapping about one and play 5 it's great but contains flaws. Every game you play if it doesn't have flaws you're blind,stupid and/or insane about the game you think that has no flaws. I personaly like legend of dragoon then ff7 than ff8 than chrono cross (and don't say chrono is better or ff8 is or somethin like that cause you never played a different game or are BLIND STUPID AND OR INSANE.)i don't even know why i like it more lod is the first playstation game i played and im happy that i did. i enjoyed all rpgs ive played but it's what gets to you more what makes you insane for that game ill rate ff7 5% worst than lod. Overall chrono cross and ff8 i'm sorry it has to be ff7 or lod!
