This game has a great list of qualities. Magic in total has great detail. Fantastic plot, extensive list of characters, lots of FMV sequences. Best sound/music of its kind. The boss battle is by far the best. The music fits into the occasion, and it is nicely selected. Final Fantasy 7 has excellent gameplay, it is very interactive filled with lots of different emotions such as (spoiler) when Aeris, or Aerith dies, and also when at the end of the whole game. Final Fantasy 7 is by far one of the longest games on Playstation. FF7 will keep you entertained for hours with Chobobo racing/raising, Battle Arena, and snowboard and motorcycle mini-games. Final Fantasy 7 is the most original of all the FF games. During the beginning of the game, Cloud (the main character) gets to cross-dress, has the most original music in its series so far. I would like to say that I reccommend this game to anyone who is buying their first Playstation game. This deserves a 10.

This game completely changed my veiw of gaming! You start out as Cloud, a mercenary in a team of rebels against an evil corporation, the Shinra. Other figures include: Barret, leader of AVALANCHE (the rebels), a huge black man With a gun arm; Tifa, a cute martial arts master & Clouds childhood 'freind'; Aeris, a flower lady with blood of the ancients (you'll figure it out); Red XIII, a cat with a flaming tail, scarred by war & lab tests, Native American styled;
Yuffie, a theif and ninja and BRAT; Cait Sith, a Shinra spy in a R/C stuffed body; Vincent, an awesome vampire-like dude with a tragic past, and Cid, a former Shinra pilot. Bad guys include Sephiroth, the most powerful human on the planet with a samurai sword called Masamune; Rufus, leader of Shinra; 4 shinra Executives(Scarlet, Hiedegger,
Reeve(Cait Sith), and Palmer), and Hojo, a mad scientist and Sephiroth's father. Best in graphics, storyline, and challenge. You gotta get this game!!!

THE GAME HAS SO MUCH you can do on it i think it will be played for a logn time to come and o what a cool game but i still think that ff8 is better than this one becose of the gameplay and the graphics but the story for this game is so outer here so thats y i have geven this game 7 outer ten becose its dam good but i have played better game (ff8 for e.g.) but you will never bet this games fun factor or story line. it works so will the game the title all of it. then the ppl of the game how can you not say how good they are they all have there own x fater that bings them to life BUT you need to think a lot to play it. and there is no way some one can do all the disks in one week let alown one day it. i was on it for a month lol but it was sooo good but its not one of thos games i can play agen and agen like ff8 that i was also on for about a month no ff7 didt make me do it all over agen like ff8 did but still a v-good game. aahhhh one of the best!

I love this game its great, the graphics are horrible, but i disregard them because of the awesome game play, though i don't have time playin this game much, still it consumes my weekends, but on week days... we party and study all night, lol. But anyways, this is a messed up game, i love it, but i hate it you know? i go to sites, and i see so much $#< remove me > at ! about zach and stuff, and how to get him, and emerald weapon as a summon, emerald is bs, but zach i'm not so sure, lately i found a little place on the 2nd reactor at the beginning of the game, the second one you blow up, when your in the tunnel... there are 2 ways to go, north and south, i went south instead of the normal way north, and i came to a room where there are guards, i fought them for about an hour and a half, and i got no where, then i went to this site and it said that... if i played for about 5 hours fighting the guards constantly i would get zach, i never had the time for this,

This is the best game ever even though I can't get past the Carry Armour on disc 2 but I don't care really.I loved Disc 1 and the beginning of Disc 2.You wouldn't expect half of the things there.I have started about 17 game and I only got on to disc 2 once.I really recommend this game Because There is alot of fun mini games and a great story Plus once you start you can't stop.I have played for about 30 hours.I am like the only Final Fantasy freak in my house.I tarted at FFVll and then moved on to FFX and X-2 and I am trying to get my Hands on FF8.If any one can help me with the carry armour on disc 2 contact me!I have already tried some strategys off the computer.Or you could tell me websites that are good or you could tell me how you did it.I have tried to defeat it alot of times!But I only have my chracters on 49 ( Or somewhere around there)So e-mail me and pass on the word about the worlds greatest game.Ever in the history of the universe.

This is the best game I have ever played! The soundtrack is great and the graphics are really good for being made in 1997. I got this game as soon as it came out and probably beat it over 50 times! I couldn't stop playing the game because I always kept asking myself, "whats gonna happen next." or, "how do I do this puzzle?" I have every final fantasy except 10 because i dont have PS2. I liked every one of them, except 8. 8 blew it for square, in my oppinion because of the sound track and story line. 9 was ok, but the only thing i hated was that you had to srart on level 1 instead if 7; however, its challenging, because it took me a week to get my charactors to L: 100. 9 was just different because there were creatures like hippos walking around and talking to you. that blew it. ff7s soundtrack was the best there is and the story line was great. if youre looking for a good and challenging game to do, get FF7!

i love final fantasy games, but this is by far the best ever! the characters are all very cool, apart from cid. the graphics aren't good now, but back when the game was made, they were amazing, it was the best graphics a console has seen. well in my opinion it was. the sounds range from calm, sad tunes into rough battling noises, and each piece has obviously been put someones heart into. especially aeris's theme tune and cait sith's. the life span is massive! it took me about a week just to get to the end of disc 1!! and the secrets will keep you going for a life time, without making you bored!!! it is a brilliant game. especially the story, with aeris dying, the tragic clip, meteor being summoned upon the earth, and the strange, eerie chill to cloud not being who he thinks he is, and sephiroths mother, jenova how she is released. plus sephiroth is the coolest name and character in all chames. he is the best!!!!!

This game rulz!!!!!!. I like to use, Cloud, Vincent and Barret they are the best team ever to beat that Sepiroth second one is Yuffie,RedXIII and Cid. My friend told me this game is boring and dont even buy them and my best friend told me to buy this game so i got confuse. I choose to buy this game. When i bought this gamei was really excited about its storyline and the graphics is little bit good but i dont care about graphics. I keep playing and playing and playing until my friend arrived(the one who hate FF7)he said its that FF7 i said yes he ask me can he play i said of course. When he played FF7. he told me that he didnt know this game is fun. So he bought the game and play FF7. So after the talking, i went to this web site and write it what happen. I would have liked to have given this game eleven out of ten but you cant(!)I have played a few games in my 5 years of being a psx owner and ff7 tops them by a percent off the chart. I love the way it has a realistic storyline right down to the swearing and the people dying, namely biggs, jessie and the rest. The graphics aren't the best but, hey who cares?, what it lacks in graphics it makes up in many other ways. I'd never played final fantasy until i got this and after playing this then playing 9 i found it was obvious what was best , i havent even completed the first disk and i still have all this to say about it! theres just one question, WHOS THE BEST CHARACTER!! Personally i think barrets the best but thats my opinion! for those of you who have never played this once you play it you won't touch any ff lower than it, even if you posess a very long bargepole!

Final Fantasy 7 was the first game I bought when I recieved my Playstation back in 1999. The game its self took me 90 or so hours to beat, the first time I beat the game I didn't take the extra time and effort to complete the side guests. Well I am not reviewing my time to play the game but what I thought of the game. Well the graphics were top notch for its time. The story line was very suspencefull, The characters were origanal. It was and still is my favorite game. It had a story line that Final Fantasy Tatics, 8, 9, and 10 could not even begin to live up to. Any one who gives this game anything but a perfect 10 does not have the brains to know a good thing if it walked up to you and droped a million bucks into you lap. I enjoyed every minute I spent in front of my TV gripped to the story line that never once failed to keep me coming back for more.

This is by far, the best game ever conceived by man. It had a great storyline, great characters, and for the music, well, it just got better! The only real downside to this game is the fact that it is for PSX, so the graphics aren't all that great, but hey, when you have a game like this, screw the graphics. And plus, it has the BEST villain in a game, referring to The Amazing Sephiroth. His sword is so frickin' big! And so is Cloud's, but Sephiroth is still the best. Original? Definitely. FF8 kinda went along with the same storyline as FF7, with Squall being a mercenary and all. I don't exactly know what ' lifespan' is, but it was really fun to play, especially once you get all the extra items and stuff. ( YAY FOR THE GOLD CHOCOBO!). You can even breed a SILVER CHOCOBO, and the strategy guide doesn't even tell you how to do that! Kids, BUY THIS GAME!

I think that Final Fantasy VII is a great game. The characters are wonderful (my line up is always Cid, Red XIII, and Cloud) although they dont go into depth very well for most of them. I have to admit that the graphics were pretty good considering it was made like 5 years ago, although the characters were really chunky and unrealistic in regular gameplay. The battle system was really good along with the game play, but, i have to say that switching materia whenever you PHSed was really annoying. I got it a while ago and was hooked, i left off at the end of disc one, but, i picked it up again a couple days ago and over the last two days ive made it too the end (i cant beat safer Sephiroth though, email me if you could tell me how).If you liked Final Fantasy VII you'll LOVE Final Fantasy IX! So I say nine stars to Final Fantasy VII cause it rocks!

This is about the best game i hav ever played the only one better in my opinion is final fantasy 8 with squall this guy is almost a bigger legend as cloud.The graphics are sort of lacking in the game except 4 the FMV'S but are made up for in the game play and story line.If i met one of the dudes that made this game id shake his hand and tell him hes a champ!!The only way this game could possibly be improved is if square remake it on the ps2 use better graphics and change the characters maybe take out vincient and replace him with squall.This game will almost make u feel like ur in there u actually never want it to end.Anyone that doesn't like this game has problems.I have only completed the first disc and i love this game i don't hav the other discs im looking to buy it but it is a legendary game.IF u don't own it buy it as soon as possible

fun factor is really 10.. this is game is kinda old so i don't blame the graphics,besides i love the graphics 10.the peoples voices do not disturb me neither,and the musics are nice 9.the story is really great! 10. this game was f****ng long,it's agood thing.. when u start it u cant stop it.. and u cant beat the game whitout suffering time. ff7 ÁND ff9 are the best ff's i'we playd.. because of the graphics and the sounds.. when u go to the ff1-6 u will find allmost the same graphics and sounds.. the game is a must,but it might not seem so cool if you'we playd ff8 or ff10 style ff's.. but yeah this is the best rpg i'we seen.. i love those graphics some call nasty?,the first games that i'we playd was zelda link something with a nintendo :),and then came ff7 same "nasty" graphics,this game rules how many times do i have to tellyou?

FF7 is the best final fantasy there is in the entire history of final fantasy. the storyline grabs you from the beginning and doesnt let you go. just when you think you know everything there is to know about the characters, a twist is thrown in that ties with the rest and makes it even more exciting than before. the playing graphics are kindof blockish, but the cinema graphics are just about top of the line. i love the boss battle music and the ending fight and scenario is spectacually put together and organized. i am on my 4th time beating it and i still havent gotten bored of it. when i beat it again, i am going to start over once more. i only hope that they make a remake without changing any of the story just make into PS2 graphics. this game is a die-if-you-dont-have-it game. i would recommend this game at any time to any person.

It is hard to use only one word to tell you about this game, but i would say masterpiece! the graphics are good, and the music is awsome, but the best part is the story line. unlike other FF games, this one lets you deep into the past of the charactors to really feel like you are a part of thier world. I have 15 games of Final Fantasy VII (right now) and i have played and beaten it so nany times i can't count them all. any Final Fantasy Fan must own this game, otherwise you can't call yourself worthy of being a FF Fanatic. my fav. music is "one winged angel" or Sephiroth's theme music. Want fun, want mystery, or just to be a FF Fan, then you must have this game in your collection. Chocobos are really cool, you must have at least one game for raising them. Go and be a Gamer of FF, get Final Fantasy VII!

I have to say, i have played alot of RPGs but i think this one is the best. most people say that 8 and 9 were the best because of the graphics. to tell u the truth, i dont care about graphics. who cares if the characters were super-deformed? u buy the game to be entertaining, not pretty. another reason i liked ff7 over 8 or 9 is because of the magic system. instead of junction or character roles there wuz the materia system, which i tought wuz very inventive. not to mention fun to use, i remember hours of time i spent on the weapon creatures just making up combos to use on them. now i must say to all people out there, graphics, sound, and all that doesnt matter. You bought the game for the entertainment so just forget the pretty stuff and get to a really meaty game!

i couldn't put this game down. i have been playing it for three years strait. though it can get boring trying to get to places and do things but the story line is so good that you just have to keep going to see what happens next, another great thing about FF7 is all the smaller story lines and games you can play inside the game and how hard it is to find them. This game really took RPG to another level with the way you have to find a lot of the secrets so you can go forward in the game. (like have to find all the summon metiria and get you limit braks) without this i think i woulnd of played it again because i wouldn't have to look for anyting. this game would be near to imposible to clock because you will always forget something so i you have to play it again.
