Final fantasy 7 is the start.Where will be the end.If it wasnt for bad graphics this game would have been the best game ever.By the way it;s lot better then all of the other parts.I am an fanatic but still Squaresoft must improve themselfs but trying to make a game which isn't about saving the world from evil.Anyway I've palyed this game couple of years ago I think it was 1998 and I am telling you guys it was revolution for me.

This is the best game I have ever played! The soundtrack is great and the graphics are really good for being made in 1997. I got this game as soon as it came out and probably beat it over 50 times! I couldn't stop playing the game because I always kept asking myself, "whats gonna happen next." or, "how do I do this puzzle?" I have every final fantasy except 10 because i dont have PS2. I liked every one of them, except 8. 8 blew it for square, in my oppinion because of the sound track and story line. 9 was ok, but the only thing i hated was that you had to srart on level 1 instead if 7; however, its challenging, because it took me a week to get my charactors to L: 100. 9 was just different because there were creatures like hippos walking around and talking to you. that blew it. ff7s soundtrack was the best there is and the story line was great. if youre looking for a good and challenging game to do, get FF7!

This is the best game i have ever played on ps 1. The graphic was so great. you were always on the edge of the seat when your playing this game.. Although the monsters are hard if you havent beaten it once...THe music was great but i have never heard them speaking so i wouldnt know...The gameplay was great..the monsters, the weapons, the characters, and the missions.. I would definetly consider this game..because it is the number one Game on my list on playstation 1. The graphic of this game is better than some of the games on ps 2. I thought the fun factor was great because you get great rewards and it is just awesome.... this is a must play game.. I give this game a 10!!!!!!

I love this game! The graphics arent that great, but it dosnt matter. I love it how Cloud's past is so mysteriuous; Sephiroth makes the perfect villain, hes not just killing for ultimate power in some games, but because he hates the ancients he wants to destroy the world, he looks awesome ( not like some wierdo in a red suit with a hat on and pants, cough, cough, Kefka)he also has a great sword! The soundtrack for this game is one of the best ones, my favorite music is when their in the mythril mine and the highwind music. Also, one of the greatest added things in this game is the weapons (the beasts with 1,000,000 HP) Diamond weapon and Ultimate weapon are REAL easy, but when you get to the point of having the choice on fighting Emerald and Ruby weapon, you actually have to be a high level, have a few cerain items and materia and it is VERY challenging. I have beaten them before and it was really tough, but compared to them, Sephiroth is a major weakling. This game has everything a game needs to have not to mention the gold saucer and all the things to do there, plus the chocobo side quest that is really fun. If by some chance you have not bought this game before, you better buy it right now, it is totally awesome!!! there is nothing bad i can say about this game.

this game is(by far)the best game to ever hit the game world..created not just for the playstation but also fir pc gaming as well...as many of the other reviews show, it lacked in a few areas...had squarsoft spent a little more time on the graphics,the game would still be number one seller in the world...my suggestion to square soft is...instead of making new titles of the final fantasy saga...why not do to final fantasy 7 what they did to final fantasy 10....just dont touch the game play...and or the woupens and materia system...just add better graphics and what you would have is the best game ever made...one that will stand the test of time....

The way i see it this is the best Final Fantasy, though many would argue 3 or 6 would have to be. This was my first playstation game and my first Final Fantasy it has earned my respect and i recommend that other play it. Only then will your life be complete.

FFVII is the best game ever. Sure the graphics aren't too great...but what lacks there is made up in the gameplay. I started the Final Fantasy series when FF9 came out. I wuz in the store one day and saw FFVII...took a risk and bought it. It was the best game I have ever played! The characters rule...you get to know some stuff about their pasts (not all though which makes it good!). Sephiroth is also great. The best villain in Final Fantasy. I swear, I never get tired with that game (I beat it on 9 different files). My first file is the best thou (gold choco, most master materia...4 star KOTR summon...lots of gil). Materia is also the best thing ever created. Then the two optional bosses, Ruby and Emerald weapon, provide challenge for the most experienced players. I have conquered the Emerald Weapon, but the Ruby Weapon seems impossible. Oh well, I keep trying...(at least you have a chance to beat them unlike Ozma in final fantasy 9. Those who have faced him know what I mean. Damn that Curse!). This brings me to the places and music of 7. The places are all good and interesting, the music for each really sets a mood for the game. Hopefully 7 will continue to be the best game around. I do not like one thing about the game though, the fact that Aeris dies. She is one of the best characters in the game. I can't beleive that Square kills her! Other than that I would give FF7 an infanite rating because no other RPG can compare to it! For those who haven't experienced this game, my best wishes are for you to go buy it. You won't regret it!

I reckon Final Fantasy Seven is the Best Playstation Game I have ever played. Not only is the game brilliant, but the Storyline, Subplots, Locations, and Graphics are all Wicked!! And it's got some Wicked Tear Jerking Moments, and Laughs. Plus the music is The Best!!!! Play this game and find the meaning of true Happiness.

I have to admit that final fantasy 7 is the greatest as i've completed it 10 times and colectiing everything. The makers at squaresoft should be very proud of the type of game they have created and i recon they make the best Rpg's in the world and hope that they make many more final fantasy games in the future and i hope they never stop making them.

Final fantasy VII was one game that i coudent stop playin. id find my self playing for hours on end. This was truly the best final fantasy! FF 8 couldent stand a chance, if you havent played this game you should get it before its out of stores for good! once you beat it youl start again garenteed.

Without a doubt Final Fantasy 7 is the greatest game i have ever played. I've beaten it twice and have completed almost all of the mini games. The game has the most in-depth storyline of any game i ever played. The game never gets boring so u could beat it 100 times and still have fun playin it. I thank the genius's at squaresoft for making the greatest game ever.

Back in good ol' '97 when I first got this game. I didn't think much of it. I wasn't into RPG's at the time. I loaded it up. Died my first boss battle. I was slaughtered... The popeye like arms and the stubby like bodys didn't do the game any justice at the time. A While past... I played it again, And played it... And Played it. After a while, The game captivated me. It drew me in... like a mindless golem. I had to play it. No, I needed to play it. The Characters to the music. It was all... Everything I needed in a game. The Story line.. offers so much. Love, Sadness, Hate, War, Confusion, Trust, Loyalty... I can go on. Even the Popeye like arms and the Stubby characters grew on me. Giving it this unique look to it. The Battle System, Beautiful graphics for it's time. Right down to every summon in battle. Not to mention that the Battle music and Boss battle music ROCK! No, no... The Entire Sound track rocks. I haven't played a game were I liked the entire sound track. But Now, Through this game, I can say I LOVE the sound track. And I also say... From beginning to end.. This game will keep you coming back for me. So many Unique characters... Two of which are hidden. A game with alot of side quests is a good game to me. Which, This game does offer alot of Side quests. Two of them being Defeating Emerald and Ruby weapon. Which a alot tougher than the last battle with The Fallen Angel. Stunning and Amazing the FMV's were for it's time. The Materia Idea had to be the best Idea for Equiping Magic and the Support commands. I've never seen a game that truely comes close to me saying I loved the Battle system completely and entirely. There isn't much I can say, I am still in awe from this game. I can't stay on one topic for too long. And I'm jumping around too much. I'll sum it up... This game is godly like. Not to mention you can take Advantage of the W-Item materia. Hahaha. But, this game is a must have... No, You need to get it right now! Go! Now! If you don't have it! Get it now! Go on! What are you waiting for!? Go! Go! Go!!!!!!!!!

This rpg has it all,excellent story,superb anime graphics and a gameplay factor that beats the crap out of chrono trigger.ive spent many a night playing this game and i really got into it and by the end of year i had settled my mind on it being the best rpg ever. the final boss sephiroth is the best badie ever.ever. if your into rpgs you must play this.ps:barret and reno rock!!!!!!!

I've only been playing this game for a few days now and I'm already in awe at how great it is. The graphics are great considering how old it is, the musics great, it fits in perfectly with whats going on. the gameplay is sweet, its very addictive. I'm currently on disk 2(disk one only took me a couple of days since I played it so much) and am having a great time. This is a must have for any gaming fan. When I first Played Final Fantasy Tactics I thought games couldnt get better, But I think FF7 beats out FFT. The graphics, gameplay, music, characters, EVERYTHING is great. Buy this game NOW!!! I mean it NOW!!! GET UP AND GO BUY IT NOW!!!If you don'y you'll regret it, I guarantee it.

Is the best game ever made from squaresoft. I love the good manage of the grafics in the 1997. Even now the game is very searched for playstation players of rpgs. The tematic of the game was great but, The first time I played the game and , for sure now, the Aeris death hurts me.

ok ive been playing this game ever since it came out in 97 and i beaten emerald and ruby ive beaten the game many times but one thing keeps poping up at junon when you goto the underwater reacter as soon you step off the first elevator going down you get off then to the right you see an opening and a dog is blocking the opening and eachtime i come to this i wonder what is behind the dog what is the dog hiding? but ne way if ne of you know about this please put it up on the board im going to continue my search about this and if i find out i will post it but until then ttfn (ta ta for now).
