Bloody addictive | | Matt Mulcahy from Hobart, Tas, Australia says (3/Nov/2001): | I had sore fingers the first day I played this, but they toughened up afterwards. What is most appealing about this game is that it is so addictive! You can't seem to stop hitting the ball over the net and enjoying it so much as well (unless you're losing, of course). Even though the graphics may be slightly dodgy in some areas, the pictures of Anna well make up for it. Good job, whoever made it!
| One thing leads to another... | | Matt Blatchford from Adelaide, South Australia, Australia. says (24/Dec/2001): | When Anna Kournikova took up tennis, nobody expected her career outside of sport to be almost more succesful than her career in sport. This game was the best move made by Anna (except perhaps the modelling) and is addictive as they get. But before i point out the pros, i'll briefly explain about some of the cons. Firstly, if you're looking for great graphics, look elsewhere, this game wasn't meant to be pretty. Another thing i found annoying was the game gets very frustrating quite a lot, but maybe that's just me. It is also reltively easy to complete, but whether on not that's bad or not is entirely up to you. As i mentioned above, addictiveness is extremely high for this game, it's very hard to put down once you start playing it. And with 48 characters (24 secret ones, including some old Namco favourites!) you will soon find your favourite, with some having different abilities than others. The main mode in AKSCT2 is the tournament mode, where you first compete in Street Tournaments which increase in difficulty. These unlock 6 characters per tournament, with 4 tournaments. When these are completed, you should move on to the more difficult Grand Slams, held at Great Britain, France, USA and Australia. Again, these increase in difficulty, but unlock equipment to use such as racquets with special abilities, shoes, and even wrestling masks! Now if you ever wanted to wear a wrestling mask while playing tennis, go out and buy this game, it is well worth it, especially at $24.95! Happy Gaming!
| Good Game | | Thomas from Melbourne Australia says (29/Jun/2002): | I thought this game was good because you had a lot of people to choose from at the start. But one of the down sides is the graphics and when you change shides its hard to play. But i would recommend it.
| Haha It Rules | | A gamer from England says (17/Jul/2002): | Lol best Tennis game ever made. beautiful 4-player mode providing hours (and months :D) of fun. Good learning curve, easy gameplay yet still extremely skillfull, kinda reminds me of PoyPoy2 in a weird way, that ruled as well..(btw the graphics r ace, cool and cartoony) good to see a game being made for fun rather than trying to be 100% accurate.
