I finished the adventure 100% in 5 days, wow i finished the adventure about 4 times, coz my memmory card goes bad sometimes but i wanna know how to unlock nitrous oxide!!!! i hope some1 knows a cheat how yo unlock oxide coz his kart or what ever he drives rox!!!! And can u play with any player u unlock in adventure??? So 1would some1 be kind enough and juzz tell me somehitng ( of course i mean by something a cheat).I hate writing something more than 100 words it sucks!!! I advise the ppl who did this site not to make ppl write reviews more than 100 words its bad

This is my favorite game because of the thought and imagination that went into it: how the story unfolds, the design for the backround and characters. There are a wide variety of characters in this game that have been included in other crash games. I wish that it was possible to unlock N.Oxide, though; I completed the game at 100 percent and did all of the time trials for N.Tropy's ghost, and with Oxide's ghost, and still didn't get him. Out of the unlockable characters I think that Penta Penguin is the best. There are many cool tracks but my favorite is Oxide's Station because of the cool shortcut and the no-gravity section where you drive through space. Here are my rating of the characters, starting from the best and ending with the worst: penta penguin, papu papu, ripper roo, tiny, polar, pura, crash, fake crash, neo cortex, pinsripe, komodo joe, coco, N.gin and N.Tropy. I do not like N. Tropy because he sucks at turning. I really think that naughty dog have done an exellent job in the making of this game.
My rating of the game:
Graphics: 8/10
Lifespan: about 4 hours to complete the game with 100 percent, if you're really good.
Fun factor 10/10
Sound 9/10
Originality 7/10, because it is not the only kart game
Game play 10/10
Value 10/10
If you do not have this game already I strongly suggest that you buy it.

The best ever Cartoon Kart Racing game, ever and its complexity rivals that of many PS2 racing games.
I bought this game about 3 years ago and completed adventure quite quickly and then played against n.trophy and oxides ghosts in time trial mode.(you cant unlock n.oxde with or without cheat)
Know or since 1 year ago i have become one of the greatest ctr players ever 4th overall as of now.
There are still players posting away in specialized forums who i can chat compare tactics and times and see videos.
CTR is now a hobby for me and though i have completed every aspect and challenge the game demands, the time trials can always be improved and methods of improvement are often philosiphised in the forums.
Crash Team Racing is very challenging for begginners and intermediates and can give you great satisfaction when completed. CTR is the game to buy if you are after any kind of racing game!

There are many shortcuts and techniques that game and manual can not tell you, so you will have to discover them or research hard on the internet... Carefull most guides do not tell you everything.

Nitros Oxide is so easy to beat it took me 2 hours to get up to him and i beat him straight away. The only way to unlock him is to beat N.Tropy's Times in time trial Mode in all the levels and then Beat his time in all the levels.
Overall the game is Great and it truly deserves a Nine.
Overview:First you go through the game collecting Tropys by coming First in each race. Collecting All Four Ctr Tokens of one colour will unlock a gem cup and if you win that you will get a Gem of that colour and Unlock a new character to use in versues, Arcade,Battle or Time Trial Mode.With all the tropys you can Race Oxide.The Race will start and the cheater will go off before the second light turns on and start throwing all sorts of bombs at you.The only Weapons Oxide doesn't use are Clocks,Masks
and the thing that looks like a ball of blue lightning.
If you beat him the ugly freak will chalenge you to another battle but first you must Collect all the relics to battle him again if you beat him then the epilogue will be shown.
This game is friggin awesome!!!

CTR is by far the best game Ive ever played.It rules to the max!Its got awesome tracks, characters, everything. Its also got great sounds, and reasonably good graphics. I havent played another game in ages! If you dont have it, you should have it. It is too cool!!

THIS GAME ROCKS!I love this game because the graphics sound are awsome.This game is really fun and I like to play it when I have nothing to do.My favorite character is Pura.And fake Crash sounds cool.This raceing game isnt the same as the real raceing game because you get to blow people to smitherines with rockets and bombs.In all factors I give this a ten.I am really good at this game cause its fun and that makes me play more and then I get better at the game.This game is very adictive. [not like cigarettes]I have not been beaten in 3 years on this game cause i play it alot and get better.

I got this game for christmas, and it is easily one of my 5 favorite games. The graphics are good, and the gameplay is also good. Adventure mode is great, and you can win all kinds of things. I defently recommend buying this game.

it is so awesome! and arthur u obviously havent even got halfway through the game if u never seen pin stripe, the dude's a boss!I am furious at one part though and I hate naughty dog for it, it is just one problem with the game, you see I have 17 relics and I was about to get the 18th and go and face nitrus oxide again (first I thought it as 16 and raced him and won for no reason :S) when I realise you need all 5 gems ( to get a gem you need 4 crash coins of one colour) to race the last track! naughtydog that is mean I tell you! just when I'm about to finally get oxide aswell...MEAN! either ay thbis game still rocks, (pura is cute but crash is still the best racer...)

i think this game is amazing because of the attacks, the cups and all the characters are special in their own way. i love crash bandicoot because he is the special main character. here is my list of characters in order from most special to me , to least special to me: crash, coco, neo cortex, nitrus oxide,tiny tiger, dingodile, neo gin, polar, pura, pinstripe, papu papu, komodo joe, ripper roo. i love you all! i also love this game because of the insane graphics! bye now.

I love this game it's cool and it's better then Mario Let me ask you guys something How come when you win Crash Team Racing Your number doesn't turn red when you win a battle and you don't wait for the cumputers to it should be like that you guys know what I'm talking about right I bet not. CTR is one of the greast games in the world but I think Crash Bash is better don't you thinck Too bad they don't have Tawna in CTR That's stubid she is olny in one game that's dumb why do they have her if she is not in any of the games olny in Crash 1.

I recently bought this gaeand I was very disapointed. The graphics were cool but the steering is bad and to add to that its pretty much a remake of MarioCart. If you are thinking of buying this game don't because its a waste of maoney. I don't even know why it made the greatest hits section. Also I really didn't think its special attacks were good.
