A game of Phantoms and Heroes | | Los from Lublin, Poland says (12/Oct/2001): | This game is a well-balanced combination of an interesting plot and battles in the climate of a dark fantasy epic. Though the main storyline deals with the underlying corruption and decay of a fairy-tale land, the game itself is not without humourous elements. What I liked the most was a fresh look into magic, which in this case comes from the miraculous 'Kartia', which is a sort of conduit between the land of men and the one of Phantoms. An innovation in what's so cliche nowadays.
On the other hand, the game ends too quickly, and there are some mistakes in the translation (I mean the English version), thus I cannot give it more than 8 points.
| kartia, word of fate, the spells, the battels, the story... | | kaiti from marlton new jersey usa says (6/Aug/2001): | Kartia, word of fate.
Well, after playing numerous rpg's Karita was by far the best. The stories are intresting, the charectors are well thought out, and the battle sceanes are challenging.
The 'good guys' are facinating with there own story, and attitude. And, well, if the bad guys weren't bad i'd be rooting for them!
the game was challenging and very intresting. i'd well recomend it for anyone!
