this drama game beats final fantasy 9 by long its epic and brilliant if i do say so myself though the kissing part is overrated. the characters have their own problems to solve and these are some of my favorites Serge,kid,pip. though this is ending i think they should make another one a third that would hold them on good in money

O.K. so a lot of people might say that CC is a letdown and undeserving of "Chrono" in it's name. But as for me I think that Chrono Cross is a big example of what Square can really do. Sure I liked Chrono Trigger as much as the next guy but in my opinion, CC blows Chrono Trigger and all other RPGs that have been made, out of the water. I think that the creation of Chrono Cross was the most anticipated sequal to any RPG in gaming history. The soundtrack was O.K. But other than that it has all of the makings of a true Squaresoft masterpiece. I don't see why so many people critisize it. But for all of you who do, you apperantly have a strange taste in excellent gaming. CC is a game that I've been playing for quite a while as well as CT before that and I have not gotten even the least bit tired of it. It is a catching game, which I'm sorry to admit may take away from things more important. But, hey when you are playing CC it seems like there is, nothing more important than getting to the next section and moving on to the best ending in RPG history.

I think this game is the best game for ps1 'cause i stayed up untill 7:00 in the morning playing it.It has awesome graphics and its the best RPG ive played.All my friends think its really good 2 and i think it's 1 of squaresoft's best games ever,easaly its gets 10 stars.

This game has awsome graphics and I like how the game is set up. I like the weapons and the magic they have and I like the creatures. I like the whole thing instead of naming things. If u ever get this game u probaly will like it, because i stayed up untill 5:00 in the morning playing it.

I think Chrono Cross is the best game ever and I just can't stop playing it. I really love the graphics and story line including the charaters. Its really awsome and I love role playing games and thise is by far the best role playing game I played yet.

Chrono Cross is not as good as Chrono Trigger but a dang fine game all the same. Great Graphics, good story, good charcters and villians. Spell system is not the best but every game has it's flaws and wish it would have had people from Chrono Trigger but overall a worthwhile game to own a play, highly recommand

I have played Chrono Cross alot for the past year. I have beat it so many times. But Chrono Cross is more of a Sequel to Radical Dreamers. But it still does fits being a seual to Chrono Trigger. The story is Great but does get confusing at first. I love the music. I always have at least one Chrono Cross song stuck in my head. *LOL* The Characters are awesome but no where near as cool as the characters in Chrono Trigger. But the best part of Chrono Cross is its battle system. I mean there is no other RPg with that type of system. Very easy to use. If you think bosses take to much time because of it you really dont understand how to use it. The only problem is the elements. I like them i just dont like the fact that you can only use every element ( Not including consumables) per battle. Now over all this is one of my fav Rpgs next to Chrono Trigger and Golden sun.
if you ask me this game was alot beter thanf final fantasy 7.I think everyone should have a copy of this game.

First off before anyone calls me a CC hater or whatever I just want to say that I didn't buy CC because I thought it would be like CT. I bought it because basically the whole CT staff worked on this sequel. Which left me expecting an original triumph. But sadly its nothing but a big dissapointment. The gameplay is original and good in its own light, as to where all your characters can be custom made. Graphics are great for a Playstation game. From the FMV to the menu screen. I was hung on the graphics for a while but they just don't make a game. Where the game really falters off is the storyline and the characters. The storyline is just everywhere and you won't really care about it at all. The characters are just the same, there's probably only a few people that you will like. The whole game is focused on tidbits,(anyone who played the game has to know what I mean) which IMO is good for depth but the whole game is like this! And the game which spans two discs really is small. How small you ask? Unbelievably small!(sigh) I really don't know what happened to this game. I'll let all you gamers know I'm a fair judge and the way I call it is usually how it is. A decent game which could have been so much better.

Chrono Cross is the BEST RPG game ever! I love japaneze anime and manga and this games graphics are the best. The characters are the best they could be. They all have their own look and personality which makes the game all the better! My fave characters are Serge (for obvious reasons), Kid coz shes up for anything and Guile coz hes so mysterious and looks soooo cool!
The music gos perfect with whats happening and the emotions of the characters. I love the opening theme. Me and my mate turned on the game and as soon as the begining was over she asked if I could restart it so she could wach it again ^_^;
I am only at Water Dragon Ile and the story line makes you whant keep playing non stop eg. Serges dream at the begining of the game, scarey but sooooooooo cool, but I wont give any thing away or it spoils it.
I suggest that you get a walkthrough on the internet becouse it may get confusing at times, But dont let that put you off!
In my opinion Chrono Cross is a MUST HAVE!
I REALLY recomed getting this game coz theres always that will really interest you!

I've finished Chrono Cross three times already and I'm still not bored with it. The character designs, the game play, and the plot never seem to get old to me. Though I thought some of the diologe was kinda corny I still think CC is an awsome continuum to Chrono Trigger. The endings I have seen hold up compared to the others from CT! overall CC is one of the best RPG's I've ever played.

This game is an ok game. squaresoft really made an effort to make another chrono game. although. the music gets very old and irritating after a while and i know i found myself more than once turning the sound on my television all the way down. the graphics on this game is better than most of the ps1 games i've seen around but still not top notch. The most exciting thing about this game is in some of the points at the game you must choose a path on which to take. This means recieving different characters and meating new monsters to take on. Another interesting aspect to the game is the magic/element selection,because instead of leveling up and getting new magic spells along the way, you may choose from an array of different elements that everyone may use with the exception of some elements for only 1 certain innate. I also liked the forging new weapons because it is more like real life where you don't just have a weapon to choose from but you must also have all of the materials to create the weapon you choose. All in all this is a good game if you are bored during the summer and have nothing else to do.

This game was the ultimate!It had awesome graphics, good music(kind of)and it was not too hard. I never mastered it yet though, but i don't care cuz i don't even own this game.i borrowed it from a friend and right noww i'm at Terra Tower. Now, back to the point, it had a lot of characters and choices and it was funny once in a while.I haven't played Chrono Trigger before though. The next 2 games i'm buying is Chrono Cross and Chrono Trigger. This game is hard to shut off. I couldn't stop playing it. I agree with Peter Holbrook a lot. I highly recommand people buy this game. It is the best!!:)

The game's fine, but it takes to long to finshed. I'm not stuck on any part of the game, but it took me 1 year and a half to get where I am now in the game. And where was I supposed to go in Terra Tower. Not a waste of time if you want to play that long to annoy a friend who want's to play. It's long and it keeps you gessing.
A MUST HAVE!!!!!

This is one of the best playstation games i ever played. It is very fun along with the story line of it. I enjoy it alot. I have almost finished the game. I would recommend it if you like rpg/fantasy games.The sound/music is great. The fun factor I give it a 10 out of 10. The graphic are still good but not top notch graphics. Still i recommend it. I think the game is original. The game has easy gameplay. The game is great.One of the best rpgs there. I love it.

Yeah that right!! i will waste spaces know since you have to have 200 hundred spaces or it wont be posted. But i addvise to get the game and a walkthrough or youll be totaly messed!!

When i first played this game and didnt get very far i only liked it a little bit but now that i got further and beat the game its actually a great game.The characters are good and the story line suits it.Not very many CG cimemas in this game though.It has a good amount of playing time for what kind of game it is.All in all this is a worthy sequal to Chrono Trigger.

i love this game sooooo much! it's one of the best i've ever played. i haven't beaten it yet, but i'm getting closer and closer to the end. the graphics are great, and the music fits the mood perfectly. the characters are unforgetable. the battles and different quests build up the tension. once you finish something and think you're done, it gets even better. it's hard, not an "that was easy, i'm done" type of game. i haven't played chrono trigger yet, but that's because i haven't seen it anywhere. the character's personalities are great! kid's the sassy but cool type, serge is the quiet type, nikki's the rock on type...etc... this is one game i'll never forget.
